Maha polls: Mahayuti Alliance secures historic victory
MUMBAI [Maha Media]: The BJP-led Mahayuti is all set for a clean sweep in Maharashtra Assembly elections by leading on 227 seats out of a total 288 in the state, as per the latest trends on Saturday.
The noon trends indicated that BJP was leading on 131 seats and its alliance partners Shiv Sena (Shinde) on 55, NCP (AP) 41.
Whereas, the opposition Congress-led MVA was leading on 50 and others on 11 seats. Speaking to media, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his gratitude to people of the state, saying that the results of Maharashtra Assembly are coming based on development and transparent work that they have done during the two-and-a-half-year tenure.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut expressed his doubts about incoming results.
