3rd ODI: SA nine down against India
VIZAK [Maha Media]: India spinner Kuldeep Yadav has spun a web, scalping four wickets, including two in three balls, to leave South Africa nine wickets down in the third ODI in Visakhapatnam.
Kuldeep dismissed Dewald Brevis and Marco Jansen in the same over to derail South Africa's batting.
South Africa have reached 258/9 after 45 overs, with Keshav Maharaj and Lungi Ngidi at the crease.
Earlier, India pacer Prasidh Krishna repaid the faith shown in him by captain KL Rahul and head coach Gautam Gambhir, picking up three wickets in his second spell. For SA, Quinton de Kock was the shining light, slamming 106.
South Africa have been put into bat, after India stand-in captain KL Rahul won the toss and opted to bowl, breaking India's streak of 20 consecutive tosses lost in ODI cricket.
The Gautam Gambhir-led Indian team management made a couple of bold calls with the playing XI, choosing to drop Washington Sundar in favour of Tilak Varma, but keeping faith in pacer Prasidh Krishna.
