CBSE 12th result 2024 out shortly
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to release the CBSE results 2024 Class 12 very soon. The evaluation of answer scripts is over and the processing of the final results is underway. The CBSE 12th result 2024 expected date is this week(end). Once announced, students can check their CBSE Class 12 result download pdf at results.cbse.nic.in using their roll number, school number, date of birth and admit card number as mentioned on the admit card.
The CBSE result 2024 for Class 12 will be released together for all streams- Science, Commerce and Arts. The CBSE Board Exams 2024 Class 12 were conducted between Feb 15 and April 2, 2024.
This year, exams were undertaken by a total of 39 lakh students hailing from 26 different countries. In the national capital alone, 5.80 lakh students participated in the CBSE Board exams 2024, which were conducted across 877 examination centres.
The CBSE had made the decision to permanently discontinue the tradition of announcing merit lists for the top-performing students in both Class 10th and 12th examinations. This measure aims to mitigate the prevalence of "unhealthy competition" among students.
Last year, the CBSE Class 10, 12 Results were declared on May 12, 2023. The overall pass percentage for Class 10th was recorded as 93.12%, whereas the CBSE 12th pass percentage stood at 87.33%.
