MPBSE to declare X, XII results by May third week
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: As the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has concluded examinations for classes X and XII, students are waiting for their results. Even many students have called helpline number to know the exact date of result. The board officials said that exact date of result is yet to be finalised by it is expected to get released by the end of May. There were around 19 lakh students who appeared the exam.
These students have submitted 30 lakh answersheets to be checked by evaluators. Board started checking copies on March 17 for the paper that held on March 15.
Second round of evaluation began on April 8. The board is making all effort to complete the evaluation of copies at earliest. After finding mistake in question paper, bonus marks have been rewarded to the students. According to sources, there were bonus marks in two paper of class X and four paper of class XII. Class XII exam was concluded on April 5. Though evaluation was slow in beginning but in second phase, officials are checking copies at earliest.
It would take around five days to prepare the result after copy checking. Officials are expecting to complete the copy evaluation by May 8 and released the result in third week of May.
