AIIMS Bhopal hiring Senior Residents

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal, invited online applications from Indian nationals for the post of Senior Residents (Non-Academic) under Govt. of India, Residency Scheme, 1992. Interested candidates who fulfil all eligibility criteria need to apply online on the official website - aiimsbhopal.edu.in.

The first cut-off date for application is January 10, 2023, and the second cut-off date for application is January 25, 2023.

Based on the applications received up to the cut-off dates, interviews will be conducted on the 15th of every month (for applications received till 10th) and the 30th of every month (for applications received till 25th of the month).

"Once the interview schedule for the Departments is floated on the website other candidates who have failed to fill out the application till the 10th or the 25th but still will like to appear for the interview can directly report on the interview day with all requisite certificates related to their eligibility and qualifications," reads AIIMS Bhopal notification.

Educational qualifications needed for Senior Residents post at AIIMS Bhopal


Following qualifications are required-

A postgraduate medical degree viz. MD/MS/DNB/MDS in respective disciplines recognized by NMC/DCI/Institute of National Importance.

Valid registration with NMC/DCI/State Medical/Dental Council.

The eligibility of the candidate shall be considered as of the date of the interview.

Only those candidates, who have been declared passed in their qualifying degree exam and will be completing their course tenure on or before the date of the interview, will be eligible.

In super speciality departments, the candidates possessing relevant MD/MS/DNB qualifications may also apply. 

The salary will be INR 67,700/- (Level-11, Cell No. 01 as per 7th CPC) plus usual allowances including NPA as admissible under rule(s).

The appointments for the posts of Senior Residents shall be for a maximum period of 3 years as per the Residency Scheme 1992, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The total duration cannot be beyond the tenure of 3 years as per the Residency Scheme in any circumstances, including the duration of Residency services already rendered by the applicant.

"The candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency will not be considered. A candidate who has already rendered his/her services as Senior Resident in any Institute/Hospital of Govt. / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Bodies for a certain period, the balance period will be considered for appointment at this Institute, in a manner that the total period of Senior Residency shall not exceed beyond 03 years," added the notification.
