MPSC exam postponed; new date to be announced soon
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has decided to postpone the Civil Services Examination. The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has given this information through a tweet.
MPSC has tweeted “In the commission meeting held, it has been decided to postpone the Maharashtra Gazetted Civil Services Combined Preliminary Examination 2024 scheduled on 25th August 2024. The new exam date will be announced soon.”
This decision comes as aspirants staged protest outside Ahilya Library in Navi Peth, Pune, on Tuesday, August 20. The demonstration was sparked by a recent MPSC notification regarding the preliminary examination scheduled for August 25, 2024.
The protesters voiced their frustration over the MPSC’s decision to exclude 258 positions in the agriculture department from the upcoming examination. They argued that they had been urging the MPSC to include these positions for the past three months, but their requests were ignored.
