MBBS seats in Medical Colleges increased by 94 % in last nine years
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya today said that MBBS seats in the Medical Colleges have increased by 94 per cent in the last nine years.
In a tweet, he said, in 2013-14 the number of MBBS seats was around 51 thousand, which has increased to over 99 thousand. He said, government is strengthening medical education across the country.
The Minister said, the number of Post Graduate seats also increased by 107 per cent from over 31 thousand seats in 2014 to over 64 thousand now.
