SC halts Karnataka's board exam results over student concerns
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: The Supreme Court has rebuked the Karnataka government for its handling of board examinations, accusing it of unnecessarily pressuring students across different academic classes.
In a ruling delivered on Monday, the court ordered that results for classes 8, 9, and 10 should be withheld until further notice, emphasizing a need for better educational measures rather than administrative obstinacy.
The Karnataka government was instructed to submit comprehensive details about these examinations within four weeks, following concerns raised by Organization for Unaided Recognised Schools against the state's controversial educational policies.
