BHOPAL (Maha Media): Maharishi Vedic Life Training programme was inaugurated by Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of Maharishi Group of Educational Institutions at MCEE campus, Bhopal. He cautioned against complacency, referencing "1000 years of slavery" and warning of present-day elements seeking to undermine India's sovereignty. BHOPAL(Maha Media): The Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence, located on Barsiya Road in Bhopal, successfully concluded its nationwide teacher training program on "Maharishi Consciousness-Based Education" and the "CBSE Teacher Training Program" today.

The program commenced with Transcendental Meditation and Guru Puja. The first session featured the esteemed Ekta Sareen Ji, a certified trainer from the National Skill Development Corporation, as the chief guest. She enlightened the teachers on identifying and nurturing critical and creative thinking skills in students, emphasizing their crucial role in holistic development.

The second part of the event marked the completion ceremony of the training programs. The chief guest for this session was the revered Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group. Other distinguished guests included Bhuvnesh Sharma Ji, V R Khare Ji, Smt. Addressing the gathering, Brahmachari Girish Ji emphasized that even if individuals are not specifically meditation teachers, they should actively promote Transcendental Meditation in society. He articulated the vision of expanding Maharishi Consciousness-Based Education globally. He further outlined a plan to disseminate the techniques of Vedic science across India within a year and extend it to approximately 30 countries in the next two to three years. He asserted that the only solution to end the ongoing conflicts in the world is the establishment of permanent world peace, which can be achieved through the widespread adoption of Maharishi-prescribed Transcendental Meditation, urging everyone to contribute to this noble cause.

In his address, Bhuvnesh Sharma Ji highlighted the profound Vedic principle "Mamatma Sarvabhutatma" (My own Self resides in the Self of all beings). He emphasized that teachers serve as role models for students and therefore must imbibe the knowledge based on Maharishi Consciousness to become exemplary educators and facilitate the all-round development of their students.

During the program, teachers from various schools shared their experiences from the training. Subsequently, all participating teachers were awarded certificates of completion for the training programs. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Naveen Kumar, a senior teacher at the school.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: A six-day training program on "Maharishi Consciousness-Based Education" started today at the Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence (MCEE) in Bhopal.

The event began with lighting a lamp and a Guru Pooja ceremony led by Brahmachari Girish Ji, the Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group.

In his speech, Brahmachari Girish Ji said, "Maharishi Consciousness-Based Education focuses on human consciousness in education, promoting knowledge and growth. It encourages the development of consciousness through regular practice of Transcendental Meditation and the TM-Sidhi program."

He explained that the program aims to increase students' awareness, boost their creative potential, and create a stress-free environment, helping them succeed in education and life.

He added, "By using Transcendental Meditation in our schools, we can awaken students' consciousness."

Mrs. Rekha Nimkar, the Principal of MCEE, welcomed and honored the guests at the program, including Smt. Rita Prakasham Ji, Smt. Rita Pandey Ji, Shri V. R. Khare Ji, Shri Bhuvnesh Sharma Ji, Shri J. P. Sharma Ji, and Shri R. S. Patwari Ji.

A total of 61 teachers from five Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools in the Bhopal district are participating in this training program.
 

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: During the establishment day of the Sahasrashirsha Purusha Mandal (SPM), a unit of the Maharishi World Peace Movement, and the Akshaya Tritiya festival celebration, Brahmachari Girish Ji, the head of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Institute and a Ved Vidya Martand, remarked, "Any resolutions made today, on this auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, while rooted in transcendental consciousness, are sure to be fulfilled. Our collective intention today is to accomplish all the remaining resolutions of Maharishi Ji within our lifetime, focusing on the welfare of all humanity, peace, prosperity, a fulfilling life, and a stress-free existence."

He emphasized, "Together, we must spread the message of Transcendental Meditation, Siddhi programs, and the protective recitation of all deities to every program in society during the Maharishi Spiritual Awakening campaign. Only by doing so can we enhance Sattva (goodness) in the collective consciousness and eradicate negativity. Under all circumstances, we must guide society towards being spiritually inclined and knowledgeable. Maharishi Ji resolved that our mission will remain unfulfilled until the entire society comes under the 'knowledge flag'—the flag of the Vedas. We must all unite to achieve this."

Brahmachari Girish Ji further stated, "In today’s world, individuals often prioritize material resolutions, but at the Maharishi Institute, we must direct our focus towards spiritual resolutions. All resolutions will be fulfilled through spiritual practice, which will be lasting and enduring. Consequently, we do not need desire or supplication."

On this occasion, Professor Bhuvnesh Sharma, the former Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, highlighted that any action taken on this day is imperishable, yielding Akshaya Phal, which signifies eternity. Therefore, every resolution made today will bear fruit. We have established the Purusha and Mahila Mandals specifically to fulfill Maharishi Ji's resolutions. Everyone should move forward with firm intentions.

Following this, those present at Maharishi Mangalam Bhavan, along with the World Peace Volunteers of the Maharishi World Peace Movement, collectively resolved to establish heaven on earth through peace. Subsequently, students from the Maharishi Vidya Mandir school shared their thoughts on Akshaya Tritiya, the Sahasrashirsha Mandal, and the World Peace Movement, reiterating their commitment to support the institute in fulfilling all resolutions.

VARANASI [Maha Media]: The Maharishi Parikrama Group visited Varanasi to seek blessings at the temples of Bhagwan Kashi Vishwanath Ji and Sankat Mochan Hanuman Ji. Their journey, called Maharishi Parikrama-2, started on April 19 from Jabalpur and ended in Prayagraj on April 27.

Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji welcomed the group with a Rudraksha garland and hosted them for lunch. The participants were very happy to meet the Chairman in Varanasi.

Brahmachari Girish Ji shared details about Maharishi Ji’s life and his work to promote Vedic knowledge worldwide. The group observed two minutes of silence to honor the tourists who lost their lives in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

They also practiced a 10-minute group meditation. Brahmachari Ji spoke about the growing negativity in Kaliyuga. He reminded the group that as guardians of Vedic knowledge, they should increase positivity to protect India.

The auspicious journey, set to culminate in Prayagraj on April 27, 2025, witnessed the convergence of dedicated Parikrama members from various states across the nation. The initiative is being held under the benevolent grace of Vedic Gurudev and the divine guidance of Brahmachari Girish ji, the esteemed Chairman of Maharishi Educational Institutions.

The inaugural day began with a sacred Guru Puja at the Maharishi Vidya Mandir located on Narmada Road in Jabalpur. Following the reverent ceremony, the Parikrama members received a warm and grand welcome from the Principal of the institution, Shri Rajesh Narula, along with the dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students. The forms of Goddess Durga, known as Navadurga, are celebrated and worshipped during the festival of Navaratri, with each form representing a unique aspect of divine power and cosmic energy. The eighth form, Mahagauri, is one of the most revered and significant incarnations of the goddess. 

Unlike her fiercer forms, Mahagauri represents the embodiment of purity, serenity, and spiritual wisdom. She is the goddess who symbolizes tranquility, intelligence, and the inner peace that follows the destruction of evil and ignorance. 

Maa Mahagauri: Birth Story
Mahagauri is believed to have been created from the cosmic energy of the gods, with the goal of bringing peace, purity, and wisdom to the world. Her origin story is closely tied to the myth of Goddess Durga and her battles against the demons who disturbed the balance of the universe. According to one popular legend, after Goddess Durga defeated the demon Mahishasura and other powerful foes, she sought a period of rest and recuperation. This glowing complexion is often associated with her ability to purify the minds and hearts of her devotees, guiding them toward a life of inner peace and harmony. NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Goddess Kaalratri is prayed to on the seventh day of Navratri, which is April 4, 2025, during Chaitra Navratri. She is said to represent the powers of darkness and time. With her dark skin and loose hair, she sits upon a black donkey, representing her as the destroyer of ignorance and remover of inauspiciousness. She holds a sword and a noose in her hand. Though she has a menacing look, she showers her believers with protection, strength, and wisdom.

Worshiping Maa Kaalratri on this day is believed to give the devotee strength, spiritual enlightenment, and freedom from problems. Her three eyes glow like lightning and are full of strong energy, and fire appears to gush out of her nostrils when she exhales.

The planet Saturn is supposed to be under the control of Goddess Kaalratri. She is referred to as Goddess Mahayogishwari and Goddess Mahayogini.

When worshipping this powerful goddess, it is important to consider factors such as color, offerings (bhog), mantras, vrat katha (the story), auspicious timing (shubh muhurat), and the rituals (puja vidhi) that should be performed.

A group of 21 Vedic Pandits performed the Shri Maha Rudrabhishek under the guidance of Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, the head of the Maharishi Institute. 

During the ceremony, the Shri Maha Rudrabhishek was conducted with Vedic rites and chanting. On this significant day, worshippers honored Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati with heartfelt prayers and rituals. Brahmachari Girish Ji spoke to a group of Vedic scholars and said, "Today is Mahashivratri, a day to receive blessings from Lord Shiva. All Shiva devotees should go to nearby temples to perform Abhishekam for Lord Shiva. If there is no temple nearby, invite a qualified Vedic ritualist to perform Abhishekam at your home. If that's not possible, do Abhishekam while meditating. In meditation, Lord Shiva connects with our consciousness and represents kindness and mercy. The renowned Katha Vyaas, Acharya Dr. Nilimp Tripathi, inaugurated the katha today. He emphasized the immense spiritual significance of Mahakumbh, stating that any act of charity or virtue during this period yields multiplied blessings. He also highlighted the importance of an efficient administration for the successful conduct of such a massive event.

Acharya Tripathi further explained that excessive accumulation of material possessions goes against the principles of nature as taught by Goddess Bhagwati. He stressed that detachment from material things is essential to receive the love of the mother of the universe. He cited an example of how Maharishi Mahesh Yogi once refused help from a wealthy businessman for the food of the ascetics, as the source of the funds was not considered righteous.

The Katha Vyaas also narrated instances of devotees receiving direct visions of Goddess Bhagwati by circumambulating the Narmada River, emphasizing the significance of sincere devotion. He urged the devotees to follow the path shown in the Devi Bhagwat and not to be deluded by the illusions of the world.

He further added that Goddess Bhagwati often appears to devotees in various forms like Goddess Parvati, Goddess Saraswati, or Mother Narmada, but only a few can recognize her. He encouraged everyone to look beyond the external forms and perceive the inner essence of the divine mother.

Acharya Tripathi also acknowledged the grace of Maa Annapurna in the preparation of food for over 2,000 people at the ashram's kitchen. He cautioned against wasting or disrespecting food. The ongoing Shri Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran Kathamrit Pravah, led by renowned Katha Vyas, Acharya Dr. Nilimp Tripathi Ji, blissfully soaked the devotees with the divine shower of spiritual pearls of Devi Bhagwat. Before starting today’s Katha, Nilimp Tripathi Ji emphasizes the significance of the Prayagraj region. He describes Prayag as a unique pilgrimage destination, with a rich narrative detailed in our scriptures. Goswami Tulsidas Ji refers to Prayag as the "king of pilgrimages," highlighting its unmatched glory. It is considered the foremost among all sacred places, where the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati converge. Bathing here is believed to grant salvation.

Just as the Sun is among the planets and the Moon among the stars, Prayag stands out as the best pilgrimage site. Scriptures state that merely seeing the 'Akshayavat' tree in Prayagraj can absolve one of significant sins, including the grave sin of Brahmahatya. The Akshayavat, known as Adi Vat, is indestructible, and Lord Vishnu is said to rest on its leaves. Anyone who leaves their body in Prayagraj attains a place in Vaikuntha. The merits of those who bathe here during the month of Magh month cannot be quantified. We are fortunate that today, on the day of Magh Purnima, when all gods and goddesses and various pilgrimages converge, we have the opportunity to take a dip here, which will lead to the salvation of ourselves, our families, and our ancestors.

In today's story, Nilimp Tripathi Ji narrates the tale of Mohini, who, after dying by touching the waters of the Ganga, is reborn as Hemangi, the wife of King Veer Verma of Dravid. While looking at a map book at her friend Kala's house, Hemangi recalls her previous life and discusses with her husband, Veer Verma, the idea of visiting Maa Ganga in Prayag. Pleased by the couple's intention to travel to Prayag and perform charity and rituals, God grants them a place in his Satyalok. Tripathi Ji shared the glory of Prayagraj through many such examples and stories.

In the evening, students from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Naini held a cultural program at Maharishi Ashram. The program started with a welcome song, followed by a Ganesh Vandana. During their discussion, Dr. Nader presented PM Modi with his latest book, "Consciousness Is All There Is." This work explores the intersection of ancient Vedic Science and modern scientific understanding, focusing on the direct experience of Transcendental Consciousness, also known as the Unified Field, through Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation program.

PM Modi has been familiar with Maharishi's Consciousness-based approach to World Peace for many years, having had the opportunity to meet with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi himself in the past. This prior connection facilitated a deeper understanding of the concepts discussed during the meeting.

Recalling the previous day's narrative, Tripathi Ji revisited the poignant tale of Devi Sati.  He then transitioned to the birth of Sati in her next incarnation as Parvati. He described her divine marriage to Lord Shiva.  A pivotal part of today's Katha centered around the legend of Amarnath.  Tripathi Ji narrated how Parvati, deeply content in her union with Shiva, expressed her longing to understand the mystery of his immortality.  She questioned why she was bound to the cycle of birth and death, while Shiva remained untouched by time.  Parvati implored Shiva to reveal the secret of his eternal existence.

Tripathi Ji further explained that Lord Shiva agreed to reveal the secrets of immortality. They traveled to the Amarnath cave, where Lord Shiva began narrating the Amar Katha. However, Parvati fell asleep during the narration. Unbeknownst to Shiva, two pigeons perched nearby were attentively absorbing every word, punctuating the narrative with their cooing.  Mistakenly believing Parvati was listening, Shiva continued the discourse. Upon concluding the Katha, Shiva discovered Parvati asleep.  He then realized that the two pigeons had overheard the sacred narrative.  Consumed by divine anger, Shiva prepared to punish the birds. However, the pigeons, filled with remorse, pleaded for mercy. They argued that their death would invalidate the very tale of immortality they had just heard.  They beseeched Shiva for guidance and protection. Shiva declared that the two pigeons would forever reside in the cave, becoming symbols of Shiva and Shakti (divine masculine and feminine energies).  They were blessed with immortality, thus validating the Amar Katha.

When a seeker undertakes spiritual practice (Sadhana), they must engage in rigorous penance (Tapasya). Without penance, one cannot attain God. Whatever power and skill an individual possesses is the result of their effort, penance, and devotion. If true devotion exists, then in any circumstance, you will persevere in your endeavors, and one day, you will certainly receive the blessings of supreme divine grace."

The Banyan tree of Sanatan Dharma is infinite. Whatever is there is all after it, all is propounded by Sanatan Dharma itself. There can be differences in opinion and work, but Sanatan Dharma is above that too. All sects and Sampradayas are within Sanatan and this is the Sanatan tradition. There have been many attacks on our Sanatan Dharma, but our religion is continuously Sanatan Dharma. The time of origin of Sanatan Dharma is infinite. We all agree with the proposal of Brahmachari Girish Ji and will discuss it further with everyone."

Speaking at the event, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Institute chief Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji said that on the occasion of Mahakumbh, from the continuous recitation of 1331 in Tirthraj to Shri Ram Katha, Shri Shiv Puran Katha, Shrimad Bhagwat Katha and from tomorrow Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Katha will be organized. Along with this, various cultural programs are being organized continuously at night time in Maharishi Ashram. Brahmachari Ji asked, can we socially boycott those who criticize Sanatan Dharma? Sanatan Dharma needs to raise an organized voice today because there is a lack of coordination in our organizations. If people make irrelevant remarks against a Hindu saint, it has to be stopped. We believe that there can be differences of opinion among Sanatanis, but there should be no differences of opinion, this is the immediate need. Efforts are needed to make this era known as the Sanatan era.

While describing the need for coordination among all on this occasion, Brahmachari Girish Ji suggested that all the sects and monasteries of Sanatan Dharma should form a top body and organize a meeting in a month or two and make their decisions public so that all the followers of Sanatan Dharma can follow them uniformly.

Speaking at the conference, Nirvan Akhara's Peethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Vishokanand Bharti Ji said that "Until you are in many, then you are one. While studying the difference, you have to be established in the non-difference. There is an immediate need for coordination to remove temptation and opportunism, which Brahmachari Girish Ji has done a very important thing by raising it in front of everyone, for this, Shankaracharya Maharaj will have to come forward and guide all of us. For this, all our five sects will have to work together, this is our message.

Putting his point forward, Arpit Das Ji Maharaj said "The most important thing is that the youth of Sanatan Dharma are getting lost from their direction. Today's youth are going towards reel leaving the real, so there is a need to show direction to the youth immediately.

Speaking on this occasion, Swami Jitendranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj said "Brahmachari Girish Ji has paved the way for the solution of the problem for the unity in Sanatan Dharma, this is not a topic of discussion, it needs to be seriously considered so that the conspiracy against Sanatan Dharma can be exposed. He said that the saints of North and South should meet and immediately consider this direction. I agree with Brahmachari Girish Ji and there is a need for coordination, we all should think about this.

Speaking on this occasion, Ram Ratan Maharaj Phalahari Baba said "Brahmachari Girish Ji has put his point in front of all of us with very good feelings. Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj will have to find a way through Vedas, scriptures, and Guru Parampara, which we all are ready to accept. On this occasion, he also said that for the expansion of Sanatan education in India, the expansion of Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools is very important and it is the need of the hour. If Sanskar will guide us, then Sanatan Dharma will continue to strengthen.

The event commenced with a traditional Guru Pujan ceremony, followed by the recitation of the Shanti Path by Maharishi Vedic Pandits. Jagatguru Sankaracharya Jyotispethadeshwar Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj graced the occasion with his presence, further elevating the spiritual significance of the gathering.  Other prominent spiritual figures in attendance included Maha Mandleshwar Swami Vishokanand Ji, Maharishi Arvind Das Ji Maharaj, and Ramratan Das Ji Maharaj, among others.  These esteemed leaders were formally welcomed to the conference.

Addressing the gathering of Saints, Brahmachari Girish Ji said that it is the good fortune of all of us to be staying here in this Prayagraj Maha Kumbh for one and a half months and receiving spiritual benefits. He highlighted the ongoing spiritual activities at the Maharishi Sansthan within the Ashram, including the daily performance of 1331 Rudrashtadhyayi recitations, afternoon Kathamrit Pravah, and evening cultural programs presented by students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir.

Brahmachari Girish Ji further said that today's conference topic is "Immediate Need of Mutual Coordination of Dharma Peeths for Securing Sanatan Dharma," is a matter whose seriousness is understood and agreed upon by the entire saint community. But even then, for some reason, this work is not being accomplished. Maharishi Ji used to say that if any work is to be done, the collective consciousness should be so sattvic (pure) that the resolve is fulfilled. Whatever is resolved should be accomplished. So first of all, we have to make the collective consciousness of the entire country sattvic, pure. Yoga and Yagya (fire ritual) are the two main elements through which this is possible.

Brahmachari Girish emphasized the eternal power of Sanatan Dharma, asserting its supremacy over other faiths, which he considers as its offshoots. He expressed concern over the perceived decline in values within Sanatan Dharma, citing instances of opposition and disrespect that often go unchallenged.  Girish stressed the need for a more assertive approach in defending the faith, advocating for the collective boycott of individuals and communities that oppose or disrespect Sanatan Dharma. He attributed the current challenges to a lack of coordination among religious institutions and expressed hope that the conference would bridge differences, foster unity, and pave the way for the continued growth and influence of Sanatan Dharma.

On this occasion, Shankaracharya Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj and other present saints also spoke on the topic of today's conference.

A grand memorial, the Maharishi Smarak, stands at the Maharishi Aashram, located at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, where his Agni Samadhi was performed. Thousands of devotees visit the site daily.

His most devoted disciple, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, announced that he, along with Vedic Pandits, will perform a special Ganga Pujan in Maharishi Ji's honor. The lighting of 1008 ghee lamps will also be a part of the ceremony.

Today, on Tuesday, Vedic Pandits performed at the Maharshi Ashram, located on the banks of the Sangam in Arail, Prayagraj, to seek blessings from the divine Rudra.

In addition to the recitation and Havan, renowned Katha Vyas, Acharya Shri Krishnadas Ji Maharaj, began the seventh and final day of Shri Ram Kathamrita Pravah with melodious 'Ram Kirtan’ and Bhajan. The beautiful singing and the strong chanting of Mantras filled the auditorium with devotion. 

Acharya Shri Krishnadas Ji Maharaj continued today's story from where he left yesterday, Bharat met Shri Ram in the forest of Chitrakoot and took his charanpaduka with him as he returned to Awadh, feeling heavy-hearted. However, he found solace in the fact that he had Shri Ram's paduka as a blessing. Later in the Ram Katha, Krishnadas ji narrates how Shri Ram, accompanied by Mata Sita and Lakshman, traveled to Panchavati, passing through many places, meeting numerous people along the way, and helping them.

The Katha Vyas Krishnadas Ji Maharaj recounted that Lord Ram, along with Sita and Lakshman, was living in a hut in Panchavati. One day, Ravana's sister Surpanakha came across the princes and was immediately captivated by their charm. Despite Lakshmana's warnings, Surpanakha persisted in her advances. In a fit of anger, Lakshmana cut off her nose. Surpanakha, humiliated and enraged, fled to her brother Ravana, the king of Lanka. Upon hearing her tale, Ravana was consumed by fury and devised a plan to avenge his sister's insult. He cunningly kidnapped Sita.

Krishnadas Ji Maharaj further said that Rama and Lakshmana were devastated to find Sita missing from their hut. They embarked on a frantic search for her, traversing the dense forests. During their quest, they encountered Jatayu, the injured king of vultures, who had witnessed Sita's abduction. Jatayu informed Rama about Ravana's misdeed before succumbing to his injuries. Continuing their search, Rama and Lakshmana met Hanuman. Hanuman pledged his allegiance to Rama and vowed to help him find Sita. With his extraordinary strength and devotion, Hanuman crossed the vast ocean and reached Lanka. In Lanka, Hanuman finally found Sita, imprisoned in Ravana's Ashok Vatika. After setting Lanka ablaze as a warning to Ravana, Hanuman returned to Rama, bearing the joyous news of finding Sita. He narrated the entire sequence of events, bringing relief and renewed determination to Rama's heart.

MVM Rewa held its third cultural program at Maharishi Ashram in the evening. The program began with a devotional song about Lord Ram, titled "Tum Utho Siya Singar Karo, Ab Dhanush Ram Ne Toda Hain." This was followed by a lively group dance representing Maa Kalika. Next, students performed "Shiv Stuti." 

One student gave a solo dance showing Indian culture, followed by a group song, "Jai Jai Gange." The students then sang "Aa Jaao Bhoole Marghat Main," along with the peaceful song "Itni Shakti Hume Dena Daata, Mann Ka Vishwas Kamjor Ho Na," which moved the audience. Another dance highlighted the colors of the Holi festival with "Holi Khele Masaane Main," enchanting the crowd. The evening concluded with a wonderful performance of Krishna playing Holi with the Gopies.

At the end of the program, Brahmachari Girish ji thanked the students for their excellent performances over the last three days during the Maha Kumbh at Maharishi Ashram. He encouraged the students to improve their skills through regular practice, just as they do with their studies, so that they can please God and perform even better next year.

Today's story in Shri Ram Kathamrit Pravah was focusing on the auspicious marriage of Shri Ram and Sita. The Katha Vyas Krishnadas Ji Maharaj recounted that Lord Shiva's bow was kept in King Janak's court. One day, while cleaning the house, Sita picked up the bow and moved it to another spot. King Janak was amazed because no one could lift the bow. He promised that Sita would marry whoever could string it. The king then set a date for the Swayamvar and invited all the kings and princes to the marriage.

At the Swayamvar, many tried to lift the bow, but none could do it. With his Guru's permission, Shri Ram lifted the bow and tried to string it, but it broke. King Janak's messenger then informed King Dasharath, who traveled to Janakpur with Bharat, Shatrughna, and Gurudev Vashishtha. In Janakpur, Bharat married Mandavi, Laxman married Urmila, and Shatrughna married Shrutikirtika. Finally, Sita and Ram got married with great celebration. As soon as Mother Sita put a garland on Lord Ram, the gods started showering flowers on them. 

Acharya Krishnadas Ji Maharaj shared the story of Shri Ram's exile after his marriage. King Dasharath announced Yuvraj Ram as his successor, and Ayodhya eagerly awaited his coronation. However, Mother Kaikeyi requested that Shri Ram be sent into exile and that Bharat be crowned instead. 

King Dasharath granted her wishes, leading to Shri Ram’s 14 years of exile. He accepted this fate without question, and both Mother Sita and his brother Laxman chose to accompany him. Despite Ayodhya's readiness to follow, Shri Ram honored his father's word and set off into the forest to fulfill his promise. The devotees were enchanted by the story of Lord Ram. On this occasion, prasad was distributed. The Shri Ram Kathamrit Pravah will continue until February 4.

MVM Rewa held its second-day cultural program at Maharishi Ashram in the evening. The program started with a group song. After that, the students performed a solo dance. The audience enjoyed a heartfelt Kathak dance as the event continued. Next, they were entertained by a beautiful Ghoomar, a Rajasthani folk dance. The students then showcased their talents with a performance of Ram Darbar, accompanied by a peaceful song called "Manavta Jayegi Shantidaata Ke Pass," which touched the audience. Another dance performance depicted the love between Lord Shiva and Parvati, captivating the crowd. The evening wrapped up with a fantastic performance of “Mahakaal Arti,” followed by a group dance celebrating the glory of Bhoolenath.

Chanting the name of Ram naturally brings peace. Once you accept Ram ji as your own, you will no longer need to search for fulfillment elsewhere. Simply surrender your life to God, and you will find everything you need. Krishnadas Ji Maharaj mentioned that the Shri Ram Janmotsav was celebrated during the story of Ram Ganga yesterday. Continuing from there, he recounted how, when Ram was one month old, King Dasharath called his Kulguru, Vashistha for the naming of the four princes.

As Vashisht Ji named Dasharath's eldest son, he proclaimed that this child embodies the ocean of joy. The happiness that he brings is such that even a single particle can please all three worlds. Thus, he named the eldest son 'Ram,' a name that signifies the giver of happiness and peace to all.

After naming Ram Ji, Vashisht Ji also named Dasharath's three other sons. He said that the one who nourishes the world would be called 'Bharat.' The son whose mere remembrance destroys enemies and is renowned in the Vedas would be named 'Shatrughan.' Finally, the child who is the abode of auspicious signs, dear to Shri Ram Ji and the foundation of the whole world, was given the name 'Laxman.' In this way, Guru Vashisht Ji beautifully named all four sons.

To continue the Ram Katha, Krishnadas Ji Maharaj narrated the beautiful and wonderful childhood antics of Shri Ram, which filled the hearts of the audience with joy. The Shri Ram Kathamrit Pravah will continue until February 4.

Goddess Parvati, eager to learn about Lord Rama, beseeched Lord Shiva to enlighten her, expressing her desire to dispel her doubts and ignite the lamp of devotion for Rama. Lord Shiva, recognizing the significance of Parvati's questions for the benefit of all, emphasized the role of a guru in dispelling ignorance. He likened the purifying power of Ram Katha to the sacred Ganges River, which cleanses all who immerse themselves in it.

Lord Shiva explained that whenever sinfulness prevails on Earth, the divine takes human form to restore balance. He detailed the circumstances leading to Lord Rama's birth, citing the curses of Jay-Vijay, Tulsi Maiya, Narad Ji, and Manu Maharaj. The deities chose King Dasharatha's Raghu dynasty as the most suitable lineage for Lord Rama's incarnation. Following the counsel of Guru Vashistha, King Dasharatha performed the Putreshti Yagna. The divine offering from the yagna was shared among his three wives, leading to the pregnancy of Queen Kaushalya. Finally, on the auspicious day of Chaitra Shukla Navami, Lord Rama was born.

In the evening, a delightful cultural program was held by Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Hardoi, at Maharishi Ashram. The festivities began with a captivating Ganesh Vandana dance, followed by a performance of the Indian classical dance form Kathak. The audience was further enchanted by the powerful Shiv Tandav dance. Students from MVM Hardoi recited the Shiva Rudrashtakam, which was then followed by the song ‘Bharat Ka Rehne Wala Hu’.

The highlight of the evening was a divine dance performance set to the song ‘Navami Navami Shiv Charno Main,’ which beautifully depicted the pride and culture of India. Another graceful dance portrayed the profound love between Lord Krishna and Radha. The performance of ‘Bharat Anokha Raag Hain’ showcased the rich culture and heritage of India through superb dance.

Alongside this event, the Shri Ram Kathamrit Pravah program commenced with some melodious recitations of shloka creating a serene atmosphere. The renowned Katha Vyas, Acharya Shri Krishnadas Ji Maharaj initiated the discourse with a heartfelt tribute to Lord Ram. Maharaj Ji said that Lord Ram is the supreme entity that resides in every atom of this Universe. Lord Ram is the door to absolute salvation and by attaining whom all sins are resolved.  

Krishnadas Ji Maharaj opened today's story with the assertion that no one embodies kindness quite like Shri Ram. He referred to a poignant scene from the epic Ramayana, as portrayed by Goswami Tulsidas, where Ram was traveling with the sage Rishi Vishwamitra. During their journey, they encountered Tadka, a formidable demoness who posed a threat to their mission. In a moment of decisive courage, Lord Ram shot Tadka with a single arrow, not only defeating her but also liberating her from the curse placed upon her by Rishi Agastya. This act of compassion illustrates how Lord Ram granted not just freedom but also salvation, showcasing his divine mercy.

Lord Ram holds his devotees in high regard. For example, the monkeys would often sit at the top of the trees while Ram would sit below. Occasionally, the excrement from the monkeys would fall on him, but he did not mind at all. To Lord Ram, once he has made room for someone in his heart, he does not dwell on their flaws. It is human nature to notice faults and mistakes, but Shri Ram welcomed all the monkeys as friends without judgment.

In another enlightening episode, Krishnadas Ji Maharaj recounted how, despite the initial refusal from Sugreev, the monkey king, Lord Ram extended his acceptance to Vibhishan, Ravana's brother. Sugreev expressed skepticism about Vibhishan’s loyalty, but Lord Ram countered his concerns. He stated, "Anyone who approaches me in friendship cannot be forsaken." Recognizing that everyone has their faults, Ram affirmed that it is the mark of a virtuous person to offer shelter and compassion to those who may have erred. Thus, he resolved to embrace Vibhishan, underscoring the importance of mercy and the moral obligation to support those seeking refuge. This act epitomizes Lord Ram’s unwavering commitment to righteousness and friendship, showcasing the ideals he lives by.

In the evening, a delightful cultural program was held by Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Hardoi, at Maharishi Ashram. The event began with a welcome song, followed by a Ganesh Vandana. Next, a yoga asana demonstration accompanied by melodious music was presented. 

The highlight of the evening was an amazing dance performance set to the song "Shubh Din Aayo," which showcased the grace of Goddess Durga and captivated the audience. The students of MVM also performed beautiful bhajans, including "Achyutam Keshavam Krishna Damodaram" and "Narayan Mil Jaayenge," which enchanted everyone present. A student delivered a recitation of the Geeta Path. The cultural program concluded with a vibrant dance performance dedicated to the glory and peace of Lord Shiva, titled "Har Har Shankar." Many prestigious guests attended the program and highly appreciated the organization's efforts.

PRAYAGRAJ [Maha Media]: On the occasion of the Maha Kumbh-2025, Maharishi Vedic Pandits performed 1,331 Paaths and Havans of Rudrashtadhyayi at Teerth Raj Prayagraj on Wednesday. This ceremonial gathering aimed to promote the welfare of the entire world and was held at the Maharishi Ashram located on the banks of the Sangam in Arail, Prayagraj. 

In conjunction with this event, the Shri Ram Kathamrit Pravah commenced at the Maharishi Ashram, adding to the spiritual atmosphere. The renowned Katha Vyas, Acharya Shri Krishnadas Ji Maharaj began the Katha with a prayer at the holy feet of Lord Rama followed by melodious chants & hymns that created an atmosphere of divinity strengthening the bond and deep love between humans and the Supreme Being. 

The Katha Orator further explained how Ram’s advent on earth aimed at re-establishing Truth. He is the ultimate personification of Idealism. Even after thousands of years, his life serves as a guide as to how to lead one’s life. His life and his ruling in the form of Ram Rajya is what we aspire to have in our lives today. He established equality, peace, and truthfulness during his reign in Ayodhya in the wake of rigorous trials posted by circumstances time and again.

Sacred chants, devotional hymns, and the mesmerizing ambience of the ‘Mahakumbh’ amplified the spiritual energy of the Shri Ram Katha, making it a memorable and soul-enriching experience for all attendees. At the end Krishnadas Ji Maharaj motivated everyone to recognize the supreme within through the eternal technique of Brahm Gyan.  Brahm Gyan is attained by the grace of perfect Guru of the time who can make this realization possible. As per the Vedas, to attain Brahm Gyan, a disciple must pray at the Guru's lotus feet, get clarification for all questions they may have, and selflessly serve their Guru. Lord Ram too followed this process before His spiritual Guru, Shri Vashistha Ji, blessed Him with Brahm Gyan.

In the evening, Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Hardoi, presented a delightful cultural program at the Maharishi Ashram. The program began with a welcome song, followed by Ganesh Vandana. PRAYAGRAJ [Maha Media]: Today, on Tuesday, the seventh and final day of the ongoing Shri Shiv Mahapuran Kathamrit Pravah at Maharshi Ashram, located on the banks of Sangam, Acharya Ramvilas Chaturvedi Ji Maharaj spoke about the events leading up to today. Until now, we have heard the story of 12 Avatars of Lord Shiva, Vaman Avatar, and the story of Hanuman Ji Maharaj.

Continuing the narration, Maharaj Chaturvedi commenced his discourse by highlighting the auspicious occasion of Mauni Amavasya, which will take place tomorrow. He emphasized that during this sacred day, all devotees, along with saints and sages, will partake in the holy bath and gain the blessings of virtue at Prayagraj. The event is expected to attract global attention, as people will be able to witness the bath through television and social media platforms, thereby also receiving the blessings associated with it.

Chaturvedi Ji Maharaj captivated the audience with the divine tales of the twelve Jyotirlingas. On the seventh and rest day of his narrative, Chaturvedi ji delved into the origin story of these sacred lingams. According to Hindu mythology, particularly the Shiva Purana, Lord Shiva manifested himself in the form of these twelve lingams for the welfare of humanity. These divine representations of Lord Shiva are believed to be the most powerful and sacred of all Shiva lingams.

Chaturvedi Ji Maharaj further elaborated on the omnipresence of Lord Shiva, stating that He exists in the form of 'Lingam' everywhere in the world. It is impossible to count these divine forms. Citing a conversation between Brahma Ji and Narada, Chaturvedi Ji explained that Brahma stated that from the banks of the Narmada River to the Himalayas, there are countless Shiva Lingams, too numerous to count. Furthermore, he asserted that every stone is a representation of Lord Shiva. He assured that he would share insights about the most significant among these forms.

Chaturvedi Ji explained that the establishment of these Jyotirlingas is linked to a legend involving two sages, Narada and Narayana, who were considered incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Impressed by their devotion, Lord Shiva appeared before them and granted their wish by residing there as a Jyotirlinga.

The twelve Jyotirlingas are scattered across India and are considered highly revered pilgrimage sites. Devotees from all over the country visit these holy shrines, especially during the auspicious month of Shravan, to seek blessings and spiritual enlightenment. It is believed that a mere darshan (glimpse) of a Jyotirlinga can alleviate all sufferings and bestow salvation. 

The twelve Jyotirlingas are: 1. Somnath - Gujarat, 2. Mallikarjun - Andhra Pradesh, 3. Mahakaleshwar - Madhya Pradesh, 4. Omkareshwar - Madhya Pradesh, 5. Kedarnath - Uttarakhand, 6. Bhimashankar - Maharashtra, 7. Vishwanath - Uttar Pradesh, 8. Tryambakeshwar - Maharashtra, 9. Vaidyanath - Jharkhand, 10. Rameshwar - Tamil Nadu, 11. Ghushmeshwar - Maharashtra (near Daulatabad in Sambhaji Nagar). Ghushmeshwar is known as the last Jyotirlinga. Seeing this Jyotirlinga is believed to grant moksha to individuals.

Chaturvedi  Ji further elaborated on the significance of each Jyotirlinga, highlighting the unique legends and spiritual significance associated with each site. He concluded his discourse by emphasizing the importance of visiting these sacred places to experience divine grace and inner peace.

From January 29th to February 4th, 2025, between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM daily, renowned storyteller Acharya Shri Krishnadas Ji Maharaj will be narrating the divine tale of Lord Rama. The Katha was being delivered by the renowned Shri Dheerendra Shastri Ji of Bageshwar Dham.

Towards the conclusion of the session, Brahmachari Girish Ji met and greeted Shri Dheerendra Shastri Ji, presenting him with a shawl, a rudraksh garland, sweets, a fruit basket, and the Maharishi Organisation's annual magazine, "Gyan 2025." Brahmachari Ji also extended an invitation to Shastri Ji to visit the Maharishi Ashram campus.

Shastri Ji expressed his delight at meeting Brahmachari Ji and the Maharishi Organisation team, stating that he had heard much about Brahmachari Girish Ji and considered this a fortunate day. Upon seeing a childhood photograph of Girish Ji with Maharishi Ji and subsequently with Shankaracharya Swami Shantanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj of Jyotirmath, Shastri Ji remarked on Brahmachari Ji's fortunate association with such esteemed spiritual figures.

Brahmachari Girish Ji also met Shri Arun Govil, Member of Parliament from Meerut. Shri Govil has played historic roll of Shri Raam in epic RAMAYAN produced by Shri Ramanand Sagar Ji.

He emphasized the urgent need for all Sanatan Peethas to collaborate for the protection and expansion of Sanatan Dharma. This discussion has been organized to seek blessings for this important cause. Girish Ji also mentioned that many saints have expressed their blessings for the event organized by Maharishi Sansthan and have agreed to participate.

PRAYAGRAJ [Maha Media]: On the occasion of Maha Kumbh 2025, Shri Shiv Mahapuran Kathamrit Pravah by the renowned Katha Vyas, Acharya Ramvilas Chaturvedi Ji Maharaj is being organised under the guidance of Brahmachari Girish Ji, a devoted disciple of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, at the Maharishi Ashram located on the banks of Sangam in Arail, Prayagraj.

Acharya Ramvilas Chaturvedi Ji Maharaj commenced today’s katha with Vedic Chants and prayer unto the lotus feet of Lord Shiva sanctifying the outer and inner surroundings. Acharya Chaturvedi Ji began by recounting the origin of Andhak, a formidable demon. According to the legend, Lord Shiva, while meditating on Mount Mandara, was interrupted by Goddess Parvati. When she playfully covered his eyes, darkness enveloped the universe. To restore light, Shiva opened his third eye, causing Parvati to sweat. From this sweat, a monstrous child emerged, later named Andhak due to his birth in darkness.

Shiva adopted the child, but later gifted him to the demon Hiranyaksha. Growing up amidst demons, Andhak became their king. Through intense penance, he obtained a boon from Brahma: he would die only if he lusted after his own mother. Believing he had no mother, Andhak felt invincible.

As the king of the three worlds, Andhak decided to marry the most beautiful woman in the cosmos. He chose Parvati, but his advances were rejected. When he tried to force her, Parvati called upon Shiva. Recognizing Andhak as his own son, Shiva revealed the truth and ended his life.

Maharaj's narration of this epic tale not only captivated the audience but also provided valuable insights into Hindu cosmology and the intricate relationships between gods and demons. The story of Andhak serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of unchecked power and the ultimate triumph of divine justice.
