BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Hon’ble Chairman, MVM Schools Group Brahmachari Girish Ji and a revered scholar of Vedic knowledge, addressed Vedic Pandits at the Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vishwa Vidyapeetham today on the topic of "Efforts Towards Establishing World Peace." He outlined an ambitious plan to achieve global tranquility through the application of Vedic science. Brahmachari Girish Ji urged the Vedic Pandits to create horoscopes for every country. Based on these celestial charts, specific Yagnas (sacred rituals), including the "Adbhut Shanti Yagya" (Amazing Peace Ritual), are to be prescribed and commenced. This approach, he explained, is central to the newly launched Maharishi Adhyatmik Jan Jagran Abhiyan (MAJA), or Maharishi Spiritual Public Awareness Campaign. "We believe that global peace cannot be established without peace in society as a whole," Brahmachari Girish Ji stated. To facilitate this, each Maharishi institution has been designated as a unit, with members actively working towards the campaign's goals. The program mandates regular practice of Pranayama, Transcendental Meditation, Siddhi, Yogic Flying, and chanting of Vedic texts. The duration of regular Transcendental Meditation and Siddhi practice is to be extended from 20 minutes to 50 minutes. The aim is to expand these units, starting with 10 individuals, to encompass millions. Highlighting the current reach, Brahmachari Girish Ji noted, "We currently have 271 meditation teachers, but our country has roughly 600 districts." The immediate objective is to expand this program to all 600 districts. This includes appointing a dedicated meditation teacher in each district, ensuring they receive good salaries and facilities to empower them. He further added that by Maharishi Ji's grace, over 121 Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools or Maharishi Institutions own their buildings in various cities. For other areas where needed, buildings will be rented. Since 1982, over one lakh Vedic Pandits have graduated from the Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vishwa Vidyapeetham and are now stationed in various countries, propagating Maharishi Ji's work globally. The domestic implementation of this program will serve as a blueprint for its expansion abroad. Brahmachari Girish Ji also addressed the need for formal certification for some Pandits who lack official certificates despite completing their training. He instructed that applications be collected from these Pandits, followed by an examination at a single location to issue certificates. If necessary, a 15-day training program will be provided to these Pandits. Upon completion of this process, the Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vidyapeetham training certificates will be issued, granting them official recognition. On this occasion, Brahmachari Girish Ji directed that a complete database of all new Pandits enrolling in the Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vidyapeetham for the new session be meticulously maintained. He also emphasized that the regular practice of Transcendental Meditation at the Vidyapeetham be extended from 20 minutes to 1 hour and 25 minutes, incorporating Yogasanas, Surya Namaskar, and the ritual of offering Arghya to the Sun. Additionally, it was decided that a daily Zoom meeting will be held from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
