FATEHPUR (Maha Media): The "Gyan Yug Diwas" (Annual Day) was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Fatehpur, under the divine guidance of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group and head of the World Peace Movement. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and the Guru Pujan, performed by Brahmachari Girish Ji according to Vedic rituals.

In his keynote address, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji emphasized India’s growing global identity, asserting that the nation has held the status of "Vishwaguru" (World Teacher) since ancient times due to its profound knowledge traditions. He clarified that Indian culture is not confined to any specific religion or sect but is fundamentally rooted in the eternal laws of nature.

Dr. Girish Ji further highlighted Transcendental Meditation, as introduced by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, calling it a supreme gift to humanity. He urged students to become "Global Leaders" and encouraged them to join the Maharishi institutions in spreading the light of Vedic wisdom to every corner of the world.

The ceremony also included the felicitation of several distinguished guests, such as State Minister Pratibha Shukla, former Union Minister Niranjan Jyoti, MLA Vikas Gupta, Anoo Srivastava, and Abhay Pratap Singh. Minister Pratibha Shukla, addressing the gathering, advised students to respect their parents and teachers, reminding them that humanity is the greatest religion.
 

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal (SDM), the female wing of the Maharishi World Peace Movement, celebrated the New Year with slum children at the Fly Foundation, which is run by Ms. Divya Yadav in Harshvardhan Nagar, Bhopal.

The Fly Foundation is an NGO established in April 2020 that focuses on improving the lives of underprivileged children through education and menstrual hygiene awareness in slum areas.

The program began with an introduction of the slum children. During the celebration, cloth carpets, various stationery items, biscuits, and sweets were distributed to the children at the Fly Foundation. The Honorable Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, Brahmachari Girish Ji, conveyed his best wishes to everyone present.

Mrs. Arya Nandkumar, the National Secretary of Communication for the Maharishi World Peace Movement, expressed her gratitude to all the members of the Fly Foundation and praised their effective work. She introduced Maharishi Ji and his concept of Transcendental Meditation to the children and members of the Fly Foundation, encouraging them to learn Transcendental Meditation for a happier life.

Smt. Arya Nandkumar informed the children about Maharishi Ji and the Maharishi Organization, emphasizing the importance of Transcendental Meditation. She also shared her personal experiences with the practice.

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Navratri is important for Hindus. Without the worship of Shakti, devotion to other gods and goddesses is considered incomplete. This is why Navratri is observed four times a year in different forms. Along with Sharadiya and Chaitra Navratri, Gupt Navratri is celebrated twice a year. While Sharadiya and Chaitra Navratri are marked by nine days of open and grand worship of Maa Durga, Gupt Navratri is observed through quiet and private spiritual practice.

Gupt Navratri literally means “hidden Navratri”. Unlike other Navratris where the festival is celebrated in public with fanfare, this Navratri is observed in a private manner by spiritual aspirants. According to the Hindu calendar, Gupt Navratri in the month of Magh will begin on 19 January and end on 27 January. The auspicious time for Ghatasthapana on 19 January is from 6:43 am to 10:24 am. The Abhijit Muhurat will be from 11:53 am to 12:36 pm.

Significance of Gupt Navratri
Gupt Navratri is closely linked to the worship of the ten Mahavidyas. The Magh Gupt Navratri takes place during the winter season, at the time when spring is about to arrive. It is especially associated with tantric practices, mantras and hidden spiritual attainments. It is believed that worshipping Maa Durga and her ten Mahavidyas during this period removes obstacles from life and fulfils heartfelt wishes. Religious belief holds that the more private the worship is kept, the more effective it becomes.

Worship method for Gupt Navratri
On the first day of Gupt Navratri, take a bath and wear clean clothes. The prayer area is sacred. Ensure that you clean it properly, before placing an image or idol of Goddess Durga. Light a diya in front of the goddess. Offer flowers and rice grains, and silently chant her mantras. It is believed that reciting the Durga Saptashati on this day brings special spiritual benefits. After completing the recitation, perform the aarti and ask the Goddess for forgiveness for any mistakes, then seek her blessings.

Held under the divine blessings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji and the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Chairman Brahmachari Girish Ji, the event transformed the Maharishi Utsav Bhavan into a sanctuary of devotion and artistic excellence.

The morning session opened with a stirring musical tribute by Nandini Kasaudhan, an alumni of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Before the performance, Aryanand Kumar, Joint Director of the Maharishi World Peace Movement, formally welcomed Nandini and her team with flower and Maharishi Organisation’s commemorative stole.

           The group set a high emotional tone for the day with their opening rendition of the beloved bhajan, He Dukh Bhanjan Maruti Nandan, which drew thunderous applause from the gathered audience. This was followed by a seamless medley of spiritual classics. The performance was so captivating that it left the audience mesmerized, bridging the gap between artistic skill and deep spiritual yearning.

Transitioning from vocal tributes to rhythmic expression, the next segment of the program highlighted the diverse talents nurtured within Maharishi institutions. The event began with a Guru Pujan and Vedic Shanti Path , featuring Vedic chants by Maharishi Vedic Pandits, which created a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Guests and dignitaries were welcomed to the stage, marking a day focused on combining ancient wisdom with modern ideas. 

In the opening session, Hon'ble Chairman Brahmachari Girish addressed the audience, paying tribute to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji’s work in promoting Vedic science and Indian culture. He emphasized that today is a sacred and joyful day, celebrating the life of Maharishi Ji, who shared his knowledge worldwide. Over 51 years, he travelled to more than 200 countries, spreading Indian spirituality and Transcendental Meditation, and proudly representing India on the global stage.

Brahmachari Girish Ji expressed pride in being messengers of world peace under Maharishi Ji’s guidance. He highlighted the importance of including children and teachers in their programs so as to pass this spiritual wisdom to future generations. He also remembered Swami Vivekananda on his birthday, noting that both leaders aimed to share Indian values globally.

Brahmachari Ji mentioned Maharishi Ji’s humility. He preferred not to be worshipped or called a "Guru." For Maharishi Ji, his Guru, Swami Brahmananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj, was everything. He taught that true blessings and success come from serving the "Guru’s feet," not the person.

Girish Ji urged that today’s global conflicts stem from powerful nations' expansionist mindsets. He recalled how Maharshi Ji used Vedic knowledge and Yagyas to prevent wars and that his organization continues to seek world peace. He noted the rising negative influences in the world, suggesting that divine intervention may be necessary once again. Through Maharshi schools and institutes, people learn Transcendental Meditation and Siddhi programs to uplift society. Currently, 1,300 Vedic Pandits are performing Atirudra Abhishek in Jabalpur to help reduce global negativity. Girish Ji pointed out that our attraction to material things causes stress today. Following this victory, the deity is credited with slaying another demon, Kinkarasura, the very next day. Furthermore, this festival marks the end of an inauspicious period called Kharmas, which begins in mid-December. The revered epic, the Mahabharata, underscores the significance of this festival, recounting how Bhishma Pitamah, despite his grievous wounds, chose to relinquish his mortal body only after the arrival of Uttarayan, believing it to be the most auspicious moment to attain moksha (liberation).

Makar Sankranti Rituals
On this sacred day, devotees rise before dawn and immerse themselves in a ritualistic bath, preferably in the waters of a holy river. Those unable to reach such sacred places are encouraged to add a few drops of Ganges water to their bathwater. After bathing, people should wear clean clothes and apply a tilak of roli and rice on their foreheads.

During the puja, a copper pot filled with water is adorned with roli, fragrant flowers, jaggery, and black sesame seeds. Facing east, devotees offer water to the rising sun, chanting "Om Suryaya Namah" or "Om Ghrini Suryaya Namah," and respectfully keep their heads covered throughout the puja. It is also advised to avoid Tamasic (heavy, non-vegetarian) food on this auspicious day.

Each month has one Amavasya, but the Amavasya in the month of Magh is regarded as especially auspicious and beneficial. The Amavasya in this month is known as Mauni Amavasya or Maghi Amavasya. It is believed that the waters of the Ganges on this day are as purifying as nectar. Bathing in the Ganges on this day is said to grant endless merit and brings mental peace and spiritual benefits.

On Mauni Amavasya, large numbers of devotees come to take a dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. During the Magh Mela, special rituals and bathing ceremonies are performed. On this day, people not only take part in bathing and charitable acts but also perform certain rituals for the peace of their ancestors' souls and for relief from ancestral afflictions or Pitru Dosha.

When is Mauni Amavasya 2026?
According to the Vedic calendar, Mauni Amavasya will be observed on 18 January 2026.

Daan (charity) and snan (ritual bath) is performed on Amavasya. On this day, devotees bathe in the Triveni Sangam and the Ganges. It is considered a holy and beneficial day, and rituals such as snan followed by daan is believed to help overcome Pitru Dosha.

Ways to Overcome Pitru Dosha on Mauni Amavasya
* Offer rituals to the ancestors: The most important practice on Mauni Amavasya to seek peace and blessings from ancestors is performing pind-daan, shraadh, and tarpan. These rituals please our ancestors and remove Pitru Dosha. If you are facing obstacles in life, then performing these rituals is said to reduce them.
* Offer Food to the Ancestors: According to Vedic beliefs, Amavasya is the day when ancestors come to visit their descendants on Earth. Offering food to ancestors is believed to bring their blessings, and brings abundance to your life.
* Light an Oil Lamp Under the Peepal tree: On the evening of Mauni Amavasya, lighting a diya (lamp) with mustard oil under a Peepal tree is recommended. The Peepal tree is regarded as the dwelling of deities. Lighting a diya, is said to bring peace to the soul of ancestors.

Worshipping Lord Vishnu on these days is believed to bring great spiritual merit. Shattila Ekadashi is observed during the Krishna Paksha in the month of Magh. One of the most important aspects of this Ekadashi is the use of sesame seeds or til. It's believed that an offering of food made from sesame seeds to Lord Vishnu, helps in spiritual merit. It is also recommended to donate sesame seeds on this day. This fast is believed to invoke the blessings of Lakshmi Narayan and bring happiness and prosperity into one’s life.

"The name itself reveals its special importance: 'Shat' means six, and 'Tila' means sesame seeds (til). On this day, there is a tradition of using sesame in six ways. Scriptures state that sesame is extremely dear to Lord Vishnu, and its use destroys poverty, eradicates sins, and brings happiness and prosperity," states the website of Narayan Seva Sansthan.

Shattila Ekadashi is a festival of purification on the levels of mind, speech, and actions.

The Ekadashi tithi of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Magh will begin on 13 January 2026 at 3:17 pm and will end on 14 January 2026 at 5:52 pm. Therefore, the Shattila Ekadashi fast will be observed on Wednesday, 14 January 2026. The fast should be broken on 15 January 2026 between 7:15 am and 9:21 am.

Religious Significance of Shattila Ekadashi
It is believed that observing the Shattila Ekadashi fast with proper rituals brings special blessings from Lord Vishnu. The effect of this fast helps remove sorrow, poverty and negativity from a person's life. It destroys sins and bestows happiness and prosperity. BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Institute is set to observe World Meditation Day tomorrow, December 20, at its national office in Lambakheda. Although the global observance of World Meditation Day is typically held on December 21, the institute has scheduled the festivities a day early due to Sunday. The event is being organized under the joint auspices of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) Schools Group and the Maharishi World Peace Movement.

The formal inauguration is scheduled for 11:00 AM, with Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, presiding over the ceremony. The gathering will include a large assembly of teachers, staff, and students from across the academic network. 

As we come together to observe the World Meditation Day, it is fitting also to remember His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, who played a pioneering role in introducing scientific techniques of meditation — Trancidental Meditation — to the entire world.  Maharishi Ji taught a famous concept: "The world is as we are." He believed that if you want a peaceful world, you must first have a peaceful mind. He claimed that if a small group of people meditates together, it creates a "vibe" of peace that can lower crime and tension in the whole city. Maharishi Ji set up the Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools across the country so that children could learn meditation along with their regular subjects like Math and Science. BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Maharishi National Cultural Celebration (MNCC) 2025 wrapped up on Thursday at the Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence (MCEE) in Bhopal. The event was filled with excitement and devotion on its final day, which included honoring outstanding students and teachers.

The Valedictory Program began with the arrival of the Honorable Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Group, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, and Chief Guest Shri Vishwas Sarang Ji, the Honorable Minister for Sports, Youth Welfare, and Cooperation in Madhya Pradesh. After welcoming the guests, Shri V.R. Khare Ji, Director of CPR, shared a report on MNCC 2025, noting the achievements and the vibrant spirit of the event.

In his address, Brahmachari Girish Ji thanked Chief Guest Shri Vishwas Sarang for being part of the celebration. He shared that children from 52 schools in 14 states participated. Over the previous two days, these students took part in various activities, including cultural performances, meditation, yoga, and debates. He emphasized that all kids present were winners by qualifying through regional competitions and were now excited for the awards.

Brahmachari Girish Ji explained the Maharishi Institute's focus on consciousness-based education. Students practice Transcendental Meditation twice a day, study Vedic Science, and learn Sanskrit as a required subject. He mentioned that this educational approach is used in about 78 countries and aims to involve parents and the larger community. He compared the Maharishi community to a Cultural Kumbh, a large gathering of different cultures.

Girish Ji also mentioned a future program that will offer Global Leadership training for students after 12th grade. This program requires an eight-year commitment and aims to develop students into leaders who promote world peace.

Chief Guest Shri Vishwas Sarang delivered an inspiring speech, praising Brahmachari Girish Ji and the institute for promoting Indian values and culture through meditation. He noted, "He has a very pleasant personality. Just looking at him, it feels like people like you can give the right direction to society and bring about change in the world."

The Minister also honored the late Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and highlighted his contributions to making Transcendental Meditation accessible for liberation. He stated, "If we want India to be great and to solve the world's problems, we must focus on our culture and values."

He concluded his speech by telling the students they were "very fortunate" to study in a Maharishi School.

The celebration ended with a Grand Prize Distribution Ceremony where students received Cultural Event Awards, Merit Awards, the Best Principal Award, and the Overall Championship Trophy goes to the region MVM Guwahati and runner up award to MVM Hyderabad.

The inaugural function was honored by the inspiring presence of Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, the Chairman of the Maharishi Group of Educational Institutions.

In his speech inaugurating the event, Brahmachari Girish Ji first welcomed all the students participating in this divine cultural celebration, calling them winners. "You are all winners. You did not come here for competition; you have already faced and won that challenge. That is why we do not call it the Maharishi National Cultural Competition; we named it the Maharishi National Cultural Celebration. Competition is something we face every day, every moment in our lives. We have solutions to face the competition and guidelines for that. You do not need to do anything for any competition; you are already trained in it. Every day, twice a day, morning and evening, you practice Transcendental Meditation, the TM Siddhi Program, and Yogic Flying. That is the key to facing and winning the competition. Maharishi has provided a phrase: competition is for competent people, not for incompetent people. Through our morning and evening practice, diving deep into transcendental consciousness, we train ourselves to be competent and, therefore, do not have to worry about competition."

Brahmachari Ji emphasized pride in their heritage, saying, "We are proud to be bearers of Indian culture because we are advancing the knowledge we received from our Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati and Param Pujya Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji." He described the cultural festival as a "Cultural Kumbh," where the diverse cultures of the nation converge. BHOPAL (Maha Media): The Maharishi National Cultural Celebration (MNCC) will take place from November 11th to 13th at the Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence in Lambakheda, Bhopal. This yearly event showcases the talent of students from Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools across the country.

The opening ceremony will feature Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, as the Chief Guest on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.

About 500 students, both boys and girls, from various Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools will participate in this celebration. Over the three days, they will display their skills in music, dance, and theater, highlighting their dedication and hard work.

The celebration will end on November 13th at 2:30 PM. The closing ceremony will also include Vishvas Sarang, the Minister of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, as a Chief Guest alongside Brahmachari Girish Ji.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The two-day Maharishi National Cultural Celebration 2025 for young students began at the Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence in Bhopal on Wednesday. This online event celebrates Maharishi Education and Indian Culture, with many students from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools participating.

The inaugural function was graced by the inspiring presence of Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, the Chairman of the Maharishi Group of Educational Institutions. In his speech, Brahmachari Girish Ji said, “Culture is the giver of our values-Sanskaras.” He noted that "through this festival, children would learn and practice cultural values, helping them grow up with strong morals and awareness." He encouraged students to see themselves as “flag bearers” of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji's teachings, aimed at promoting world peace.

Brahmachari Ji advised students to keep a positive attitude and avoid watching and listening negative news, which can create negativity in their minds and life. He announced plans for a new platform to share good news with the global community. Hon'ble Chairman thanked V R Khare - Director CPR, Smt. Reeta Prakashan-Joint Director CPR, Smt. Aryanand Kumar-Joint Director, Communications, and Shri Ramdev Dubey-Joint Director- National Office for their hard work in organizing the celebration.

V R Khare Ji expressed gratitude for his support and praised the students for their enthusiasm and performances. He also thanked the principals and teachers for preparing the students and acknowledged the help from parents.

On the first day of the program, students in Classes 1 to 5 participated in various competitions. A total of 214 students from 33 Maharishi Schools joined the online event. The competitions were divided into two groups: Kamal Varg for Classes 1 and 2, and Genda Varg for Classes 3, 4, and 5.

The first day featured these competitions: Solo Dance, Group Dance, and Fancy Dress Competition. The judges included Sushri Ruchi Rajput, an Excellence Garba Dancer, and Kumari Abhilasha Tiwari, a Classical Dancer.

Students performed a welcome song and the traditional Saraswati Vandana at the start.

All participants delivered great performances, making the first day of the festival a success. The festivities will continue tomorrow with more cultural events.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti was celebrated across the country today, with a special message shared from the Maharishi Sansthan in Bhopal. Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, head of the institute, extended heartfelt greetings to all Indian citizens on the birth anniversary of the Ramayana author. 

The message, shared by Maharishi World, featured portraits of Param Pujya Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji and Brahmachari Girish Ji offering felicitations on the auspicious occasion. It included a message in Hindi that translates to: "Heartfelt greetings to all of you on the occasion of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, the original poet and creator of the Ramayana." 

Revered as the ‘Adi Kavi’ or first poet of the Sanskrit language, Maharishi Valmiki is also seen by members of the Valmiki sect as a messenger of God. His birth anniversary, also known as Pargat Diwas, is celebrated with great devotion, including processions known as shobha yatras. 

The celebration honours the sage's timeless teachings of truth, righteousness, and compassion, which continue to inspire generations.

The greetings are shared in the spirit of carrying forward the vision of Param Pujya Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji for global peace and the establishment of an ideal society—often referred to as 'Ram Rajya'—a theme central to the Maharishi World movement.

The Vijayadashami festival, celebrated on the tenth day of the Hindu month of Ashvin, commemorates Lord Rama’s victory over the demon king Ravana, marking the restoration of justice and righteousness.

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University (MMYVV) in Karaundi, Madhya Pradesh, collaborated with the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) to successfully organize a comprehensive training program focused on water awareness.

This initiative aimed to educate local farmers, women, and youth on essential topics related to water management, conservation, and the sustainable use of groundwater resources.

Participants expressed strong appreciation for the training program, finding the sessions highly valuable and informative. Following the event's success, attendees unanimously requested university officials to organize similar training programs in the future.

Officials from the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University acknowledged the positive feedback and assured the community that they would consider conducting more initiatives to promote environmental and resource awareness in the region.

85 participants from all over India are attending MWPA. The assembly will continue till 29th September where knowledge of life oriented different Vedic subjects will be presented to participants. The day has started with offering Surya Arghya, practice of TM and TM-Siddh Programme, Yogic Flying, listening Vishnu Sahasranam, then attending Chandi Yagya. After lunch Brahmachari Girish Ji has shared the history of Maharishi Global Organisation which was very impressive and informative to all participants. Few have mentioned that today they have received lot of new information about Maharishi ji and his plans and programmes which are continuing now under the leadership of Brahmachari Girish Ji.

BHOPAL (Maha Media):The nine-day Navratri festival began today with the ceremonial Ghatasthapana at Maharishi Bliss Residency (MBR), Bhopal. The event marks the inauguration of the Maharishi World Peace Assembly, which is being attended by 85 participants

The ceremony included the installation of idols of deities including Durga Ji, Lakshmi Ji, Saraswati Ji, Ganapati Ji, Kartikeya Ji, and Shiv Ji. As part of the festivities, a Chandi Yagya is also being performed by Maharishi Vedic Pundits, which will continue throughout the duration of the assembly

The auspicious Kalash Yatra and installation ceremony were conducted in the presence of several esteemed guests. These included Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, former Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya; Shri V.R. Khare, Director of the CPR Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group; Shri Ranjan Singh Patwari, National Coordinator of Consciousness-based Education; and Smt. Anita Bhargava, TM and TM Siddhi Administrator

All participants, along with faculty members and staff, actively took part in the Kalash Yatra and the ceremony. The assembly is scheduled to continue until September 29th.

BHOPAL (Maha Media): The two-day Maharishi Kids Home National Cultural Celebration 2025 wrapped up with excitement and joy at Maharishi Kids Home in Ayodhyanagar, Bhopal, on Tuesday. On the final day, young children from Maharishi Kids Home performed in colorful costumes, showing impressive confidence. Their performances touched the hearts of many in the audience, and some moments even brought tears of joy.

   This celebration began with Guru Pujan and warm welcome of guests followed by Vedic chanting performed by Maharishi Vedic Pundits. The day also included a heartfelt welcome song by the students of Maharishi Kids Home, followed by bhajans and motivational songs.

      During the closing ceremony, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group, spoke about the importance of celebrating the children's performances. He highlighted that young children are innocent and learn quickly from what they are taught, which is their true strength. At Maharishi Kids Home, the focus is not just on practical skills and academic knowledge. While many parents want their children to learn English well, it is equally important to teach them values that can improve their lives. Children need these values to develop self-awareness, which helps guide their actions throughout life.

       Girish Ji shared a Vedic saying, “Manasi Ekam, Vachsi Ekam, Karmani Ekam Mahatmanam,” meaning that a great and truthful person thinks, speaks, and acts in harmony. Our goal is to raise children to be those true individuals, not ascetics. We want them to imbibe good Sanskaras and qualities while reducing less desirable traits and ensuring honesty in all their actions. 

    In 1990, Maharishi Ji encouraged us to open Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools across the country. Today, we have over 200 MVM schools in India, and seven years ago, we started Maharishi Kids Home, with plans to grow this number to 200 in very near future.

   Brahmachari Girish Ji also noted that our social culture is changing for the worse, making it important for every parent and family member to help ensure that our educated children grow into cultured citizens, full of divine values. Their lives should be ideal, contributing to a better society. To achieve this, we launched the Maharishi Aadarsh Bharat Abhiyan ten years ago, and it was relaunched on August 25 this year. Our efforts aim to build an ideal India so that when children grow up, they find a supportive environment. We must work together toward this goal, as negative influences have to be removed at all cost. It is crucial to raise children with cultural values, guiding them to practice daily worship, meditation, and yoga, which will help them improve.

On August 25, we launched the Maharishi World Plan, which has attracted participation from 52 countries so far. If 100 countries join by the upcoming Vijayadashami, we will organize a world-level conference, Girish Ji added.

Brahmachari Girish Ji thanked all the parents of the children at Maharishi Kids Home, reminding them how fortunate they are to have chosen Maharishi Sansthan for their children's education. He also praised the teachers for their role in nurturing the children's growth.

Shri V R Khare, Director CPR addressed the gathering, praising the beautiful and impressive performances of the children over the two days. The entire program was rich in cultural values, mentioning that the children of Maharishi Kids Home know the Gayatri Mantra and the Bhojan and Snan Mantras, which is truly remarkable. He reiterated Girish Ji's wish to instill Indian values in all children at school level. This was the fifth national level cultural celebration of Maharishi Kids Home, which started in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. He commended all parents for encouraging their children to participate and praised venue principal Anjali Singh for her caring approach and excellent management of the program.

At the end of the event, Brahmachari Girish Ji presented prizes to the children for their outstanding performances.
 

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The two-day National Cultural Festival commenced today at Maharishi Kids Home Ayodhya Nagar in Bhopal. The event showcased vibrant performances by young children from Maharishi Kids Home schools across the country.

During the inauguration, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group, shared a message emphasizing Maharishi Ji's strong belief in instilling traditional Indian values in children from a young age. This foundational principle is intended to help children grow into exemplary global citizens. To realize this vision, Brahmachari Girish Ji initiated the establishment of Maharishi Kids Homes nationwide, aiming to provide value-based education alongside modern schooling. This includes teachings such as the Gayatri Mantra, meal prayers, and regular practice of Transcendental Meditation. The cultural festival is part of the effort to ensure the holistic development of children.

The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Shri Vijay Ratna Khare, Director of Communications and Public Relations for the Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group; Smt. Rita Prakasham, Joint Director of the Maharishi Institute; and Smt. Anjali Singh Kushwaha, Principal of Maharishi Kids Home.

The event kicked off with a group dance competition featuring the Kilkari Group. Group A performed a captivating dance rich in expressions, and the children’s playful performances received high praise. This was followed by a group dance by seven girls from School Code B, while School Code C showcased another group of seven girls in matching outfits, which was a highlight of their presentation. School Code D's group of eight children enchanted the audience with a melodious performance, exhibiting perfect rhythm, melody, and beat. Next, School Code E's group dance, themed around "Shri Krishna Krishna," featured three boys and three girls and beautifully captured the essence of Radha and Krishna, leaving a lasting impression.

School Code F presented a mixed team of four boys and four girls, highlighting rural culture through their attire and a performance that depicted rural lifestyles. Similarly, the teams from the Kilkari Group, ranging from Code A to F, delivered outstanding vocal performances. In particular, Team Code F's rendition of "Aage Aage Maiya Piche Piche Chote Bhai" stood out due to the children’s flawless rhythm and melody. A solo performance by a child from School Code E conveyed a passionate patriotic message with the song "Yeh Mera India, I Love India." In the solo dance category, a girl from Group C delivered an expressive and rhythmic performance. Following her, a solo dance from Group D showcased precise footwork and expressions while balancing a 'matki' (earthen pot).

School Code F’s solo dance, featuring royal costumes, made a significant impact. Additionally, a boy from School Code E creatively explained traffic rules using pictures and colors. The cultural festival continued with a series of impressive shloka and poetry recitals by children from School Codes A to F.

The National Cultural Festival commenced in accordance with the Maharishi tradition, starting with Guru Pujan, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The judging panel for the event included Smt. Ranjit Kaur, a retired principal, and Smt. Sadhna Dubey, a retired teacher.
 

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Anant Chaturdashi festival was celebrated with Vedic rituals dedicated to Lord Vishnu by Vedic pandits at Maharishi Utsav Bhavan, Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram in Bhopal and all other Maharishi campuses across the country. 

On this occasion, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, the head of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Sansthan, said, "We are all fortunate to have so many Vedic festivals throughout the year where we receive blessings by worshipping various gods and goddesses. These blessings grant us the opportunity to live a life of success and joy." He added that such a golden opportunity to awaken self-consciousness is not found in any other culture or tradition. "Only Sanatanis in Sanatan Dharma receive this blessing from nature."

The worship ceremony on Anant Chaturdashi was performed with complete Vedic rituals at all Maharishi campuses, with a large number of Maharishi Sansthan officials and employees participating enthusiastically.

BHOPAL (Maha Media): On Friday, Brahmachari Girish Ji, the esteemed Chairman of the Maharishi Group of Institutions, met with Shri Rajendra Shukla Ji, the Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The birthday celebration of Brahmachari Girish began with a grand Guru Pujan ceremony, conducted by Vedic scholars of Maharishi. Following the ceremony, Girish Ji warmly welcomed and honored all the saints and sages present with shawls and floral bouquets. In return, the saints blessed him with numerous gifts and their heartfelt blessings.

Addressing everyone on this auspicious occasion, Hon' ble Brahmachari Girish said that it was a day of celebration because revered saints from all over India were present at the birthday festivities. He shared that he had always been fortunate to receive the blessings and guidance of saints and sages since his childhood. This is what inspired him to dedicate his life to serving his guru at a very young age.
He recounted an incident where a saint asked him what blessing he desired and suggested he ask for a long life. Girish Ji replied that he only wished to be blessed with the ability to fulfill all the programs and resolutions of his Guru, Maharishi Ji, during his lifetime.
Girish Ji drew a parallel to a story about Tulsidas, where Lord Rama offered him a choice between liberation (moksha) and rebirth. Tulsidas chose rebirth, stating that if he attained moksha, he would not be able to see and sing the praises of Lord Rama again.
Brahmachari Girish stated that his sole aim is to fulfill Maharishi Ji's resolutions. He expressed that he never feels disappointed or sad while working towards this goal. He said that he has learned from his guru tradition that life is a source of joy. He concluded by saying that one's life cannot be truly uplifted until the soul and consciousness are awakened.

.The event, held with immense joy and enthusiasm, was highlighted by the screening of a beautiful AI-based documentary chronicling Brahmachari Girish Ji's journey, which was met with delight by all attendees. On this auspicious occasion, a major global initiative was launched by Brahmachari Girish Ji, a project named the "Maharishi World-Blissful World Plan." This ambitious plan aims to bring peace, health, and enlightenment to all of humanity by applying the principles of Vedic knowledge.

They were joined by keyboard player Anil Dhumal and instrumentalist Siddhesh Narendra, collectively offering a performance that resonated with the spiritual mood of the occasion.

On the second day of the celebration, August 25, a host of prominent saints will come together to bless Brahmachari Girish Ji and celebrate his contributions. In the evening of August 25, an enriching Indian classical music program is scheduled, showcasing talented artists including flutist Pandit Parasnath, renowned shehnai player Ashwini Shankar, acclaimed sarod player Smit Tiwari, tabla players Anup Ghosh and Shantanu Narendra, keyboard player Anil Dhumal, and instrumentalist Siddhesh Narendra, who will perform a captivating selection of devotional bhajans.

BHOPAL (Maha Media): As India marks 78 years of Independence, a massive 'Tiranga Yatra' was organized by the Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence (MCEE)in Bhopal on Wednesday. The rally was led by Brahmachari Girish, chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir school group. 

Over 1000 members of Maharishi Organisation including Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Mrs. Rekha Nimkar, all directors and members of MVM National Office, faculty of Maharishi Institute of Management, teachers and students of MCEE, and Mahamedia Group members have participated in the Yatra. 

Addressing the assembled members, Brahmachari Girish Ji praised the Government of India's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' initiative. Girish Ji took the idea a step further by introducing the slogan 'Har Man Tiranga'. Girish Ji said that "Its a very good sankalpa of having flag on each home, each building of India "Ghar Ghar Tiranga". This is expression of dedication and devotion for our dear Nation– India. Houses/buildings are made of cement, mortar, bricks, wood and steel, its a matter, we have more important value of it, that is our own "man", our consciousness, our soul, which is always fully awake. We also need to emphasis on 'Har Man Tiranga'. Tiranga rooted deep in consciousness, in Atman, will be ever lasting, it will be invincible." 

Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, former Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, also spoke at the event. He reminded that Indians have a great sankalpa- We have to be victorious over the world, and that is only possible on the level of consciousness, thereby we need to enliven our consciousness.". 
 

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: From July 15 to July 29, 2025, the Maharishi Centre of Educational Excellence in Bhopal hosted a comprehensive residential course aimed at training Sanskrit teachers. This initiative saw the successful completion of the program by 18 dedicated educators, who were guided by the expertise of Dr. Satyavani and Mrs. Devaki, both distinguished and experienced Sanskrit instructors.

The newly trained teachers are set to return to their respective Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools, where they will impart knowledge in spoken Sanskrit to approximately 6,000 students annually. The impact of this course was highlighted during the valedictory session, where Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji addressed the attendees. Hon'ble Brahmachari Girish Ji reminded everyone of the resolution passed to promote Sanskrit teaching and announced the launch of several additional training courses aimed at reaching a larger audience. The goal is to train a total of 10 lakh (1 million) members of the Maharishi Organisation over the next two years.

Former Vice Chancellor of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, inspired the teachers with a motivational speech. He emphasized the significance of the Sanskrit language, referring to it as "Dev Vani" (the language of the gods), and highlighted how learning Sanskrit can enrich an individual's personality and elevate their consciousness.

Brahmachari Ji expressed his gratitude towards V. R. Khare Ji, Director of Communication and Public Relations for the MVM Group, and Smt. Arya Nand Kumar, Joint Director, for their efforts in organizing and facilitating the course. Their contributions were pivotal in ensuring the success of this training initiative.

Khare Ji announced that preparations are underway for the next online and residential courses, which will provide further opportunities for teacher training. BHOPAL (Maha Media): Ved Vidya Marthand Brahmachari Girish Ji conducted the Shri Maha Rudrabhishek Yagya of Dwadash Jyotirlingas, accompanied by 121 esteemed Maharishi Vedic Pundits, on the auspicious occasion of the third Shravan Somwar (Monday). This significant event took place at the Maharishi Utsav Bhawan, located within the Shri Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram, Chhan, Bhojpur Mandir Marg, in Bhopal.

During the ceremony, Brahmachari Girish Ji performed all Vedic rituals with the sankalpa of creating peace, harmony, prosperity, perfect health and well being of all the members of our dear world family and family of nations.

A highlight of his visit was attending the Shri Atirudrabhishek, a profound Vedic performance involving 1331 Maharishi Vedic Pundits. BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Sahasra Sheersha Devi Mandal celebrated Hariyali Teej at the Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence (MCEE) in Lambakheda, Bhopal, on Saturday.

Smt. Arya Nandkumar, the Joint Director of MVM and National Communication Secretary of MWPM, and Smt. Renuka Sinha, the Principal of MVM Trilanga, attended as special guests. Rekha Nimkar, the Principal of MCEE, and Anjali Singh, the Principal of MKH Ayodhya Nagar, welcomed them with a plant sapling and a momento.

After the welcome, Rekha Nimkar gave a speech. Arya Nandkumar spoke to the audience about the importance of Hariyali Teej and MWPM. She encouraged everyone to practice Transcendental Meditation regularly.

The event included fun activities such as a skit competition for students, a bhajan competition for teachers, and a ramp walk for students' mothers.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Sansthan hosted the Maha Rudrabhishek Yagya on the second Monday of Shravan at the Maharishi Utsav Bhawan, located in the Gurudev Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram on Chhan, Bhojpur Mandir Road, Bhopal.

The sacred ritual was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, President of the Maharishi Educational Institutions Group. A total of 121 Vedic pandits from the Maharishi Sansthan performed the Shri Maha Rudrabhishek Yagya with complete Vedic rites and rituals. During the ceremony, Lord Shiva was worshipped following traditional Vedic procedures, accompanied by the chanting of Vedic mantras.

The Shri Maha Rudrabhishek Yagya is organized for the welfare of the entire world and the establishment of lasting peace globally. This significant event takes place every Monday during the month of Shravan, starting at 2:30 PM and concluding at 5:30 PM.

For devotees unable to attend in person, the Shri Maha Rudrabhishek Yagya will be broadcast live on Ramraj TV's website, as well as on their YouTube and Facebook channels, allowing participants to gain spiritual benefits by joining online. The Maha Rudrabhishek Yagya is a collaborative initiative of the Maharishi Vedic Science University and the Maharishi Educational Institutions Group.

BHOPAL: The two-day Shri Guru Purnima Celebration at Maharishi Institutions culminated on Thursday with traditional ceremonies and a focus on gratitude and achievements. The celebration, organized by the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Sansthan, was guided by Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, head of Maharishi Sansthan.

Today, on the actual day of Shri Guru Purnima, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji performed the sacred Guru Pujan along with Vedic chanting by Vedic Pandits of Maharishi Organisation. After that all the honoured guests who shared dias with Brahmachari Girish Ji was welcomed with flowers bouquet and traditional tikka amid Vedic chanting.

In his insightful address, Brahmachari Girish Ji emphasized the profound significance of the Vedic Guru tradition, stating, "Today is a special day for the Vedic Guru tradition. Sheding light on the remarkable life of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Maharaj, the revered guru of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, Brahmachari Girish said that born in a small village in Uttar Pradesh, his journey from humble beginnings to becoming the Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath was nothing short of extraordinary.

Brahmachari Girish highlighted that Shankaracharya Brahmanand Saraswati Maharaj was honored with numerous titles, including "Ananta Shri Vibhushit", a distinction previously unheard of for any spiritual leader. During India's struggle for independence, Shankaracharya Brahmanand Saraswati Maharaj played a significant role in uniting people. He organized a colossal Yagya on the banks of the Yamuna River, drawing the participation of over 10,000 Vedic pundits. Such a massive undertaking was an immense challenge for any saint at that time. When questioned about the financial resources required for such a grand event, he reportedly stated that when he needed funds, he didn't invoke Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, like ordinary humans. Instead, he would directly invoke and appeal to Lord Vishnu, and his needs would be met spontaneously. 

Brahmachari Girish further elaborated on how Maharishi Mahesh Yogi dedicated his life to expanding the knowledge received from his guru and spreading spirituality worldwide. Maharishi traveled to over 134 countries, introducing the power of consciousness to the entire world. He frequently emphasized the principle of "Ek Hi Sadhe Sab Sadhe", meaning that by mastering consciousness, all endeavors become successful. He taught that the simplest path to consciousness is through Transcendental Meditation (TM). Inspired by Lord Vishnu, Maharishi developed the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs, emphasizing that consistent practice of TM leads nature itself to effortlessly facilitate all desired outcomes.

Brahmachari Girish concluded by urging individuals to divide their day into three parts: the first eight hours for spiritual pursuits, the next eight hours for material activities, and the remaining time for rest and other commitments. He stressed that if eight hours for spirituality seemed too much, at least one hour for Transcendental Meditation should be dedicated daily. He asserted that those unable to commit even this minimal time are "wasting their lives" and will not achieve true success.

Girish Ji also emphasized the significant role of many individuals, including one's guru, in achieving anything in life. Brahmachari Girish stated that there is no greater virtue than repaying the guru's debt. This doesn't require material offerings but rather complete surrender to the guru. He concluded by saying that such devotion leads to personal well-being and enables individuals to contribute to the welfare of the world.

After his address, Girish Ji presented all the yearly achievements of the Maharishi Sansthan at the lotus feet of Shri Gurudev and Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji.

The celebration also featured addresses from esteemed guests. In line with the ancient Vedic tradition of disciples dedicating their achievements and seeking blessings from their Guru, today's events set the tone for tomorrow's main Guru Purnima ceremony.
