Maharishi Utsav Bhavan hosts Seminar on "Transforming India into IDEAL INDIA"
BHOPAL (Maha Media): The two-day birthday celebration of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon'ble Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, began today at Maharishi Utsav Bhavan, Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram in Bhopal. The festivities commenced with a seminar focused on the topic, " How to Transform India into IDEAL INDIA," which brought together scholars and participants for a thought-provoking discussion.
In his opening address, Brahmachari Girish Ji articulated the vision of an "ideal India," a concept originally conceived by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He highlighted Maharishi's dedication to this cause through initiatives like the "Ideal Society Program," which aimed to cultivate ideal citizens who would positively contribute to societal well-being.
Girish Ji challenged the assembly of scholars to identify the remaining shortcomings in achieving this vision and propose future actions. He emphasized the value of learning from the diverse perspectives of the gathered experts.
Drawing from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's teachings, Girish Ji explained the foundational principle that "every individual is a fundamental unit of society." He elaborated on the idea that an individual's consciousness influences the collective consciousness, underscoring the necessity of first educating and developing the qualities of an ideal citizen within each person.
He also spoke on Maharishi's definition of Ram Rajya as a "divine state" or "God's kingdom," a living reality characterized by universal order, truth, righteousness, and harmony. According to Girish Ji, Maharishi described the Vedas as nature-made, eternal knowledge inherent in the transcendental field of consciousness, representing a universal constitution that governs the intelligent system of the cosmos.
The seminar attracted a distinguished group of guests, including Swami Jitendranand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti; Ashok Tiwari, a spokesperson and central minister of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad; Vaidya Devendra Triguna, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Ayurvedic Congress; and esteemed Supreme Court advocates Ashwani Upadhyay and Santosh Kumar.
Among other notable attendees were Dr. Chandresh Shukla, President of the Madhya Pradesh State Dental Council; Suresh Algoan, Founder and CEO of the Mindlogic Group of Companies; retired IAS officer Ajatshatru Srivastava; Ravindra Kanhare, National President of Vidya Bharati; Sunil Mansingh, a former member of the National Cow Commission; and Vaidya Madhusudan Deshpande, President of the Ojas Foundation.
The celebration will continue tomorrow, Monday, August 25, Girish Ji's actual birthday. The day's events will include blessings from prominent saints and a classical Indian music program featuring devotional bhajans celebrating India’s cultural heritage.
The entire event is being live-streamed on Ramraj TV and additional viewing options are available on YouTube and Facebook channels for those unable to attend in person.
