BHOPAL [Maha Media]: On the auspicious occasion of the Maha Kumbh 2025 being held in Prayagraj, Brahmacharari Girish Ji, a devout disciple of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, visited the Vindhyavasini Devi temple in Vindhyachal along with several directors of Maharishi Vidya Mandir. Here, he offered prayers to the Goddess and sought her blessings for the health, prosperity, and peace of all the world's citizens.

Speaking on the occasion, he stated, "Vindhyavasini Devi is the primordial form of all great goddesses like Lakshmi, Kali, Durga, and Saraswati. One gains the grace and blessings of all these goddesses by simply worshipping her."

Later, he visited the Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vidyapeeth near Vindhyachal city and met with 145 young Brahmin students studying there. He inquired about their progress in Vedic studies and listened to their chanting. Brahmachari Girish Ji emphasized, "The Vedas are the embodiment of complete knowledge and the pulsations of the soul. Vedic chanting should be done softly and sweetly, not loudly, as melodious chanting is the key to receiving divine blessings." He extended his best wishes for a bright future to all the young Brahmins, their teachers, and the institute's administrators.
 

PRAYAGRAJ [Maha Media]: On the third day of the ongoing Srimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Kathamrit Pravah at Maharshi Mahesh Yogi Ashram in Prayagraj, Acharya Shri Badrish Maharaj shared insights from the previous day's discussion. He recounted the glory of devotion, the unparalleled incarnations of God, the creation of the Mahabharata, the arrival of Narad ji, and his sermon to Vyas ji, concluding with the end of the Mahabharata war.

Continuing today's story, Badrish Ji Maharaj highlighted the homecoming of Lord Krishna to Dwarka after a brief stay in Hastinapur. The people of Dwarka expressed immense joy and relief at his return, emphasizing the void they felt in his absence. Swami Badrish Maharaj drew parallels between Lord Krishna's return and that of Lord Rama to Ayodhya, underlining the profound impact these divine figures had on their devotees.

Badrish Maharaj further revealed that following the war, Dharmaraj Yudhishthira assumed the throne and ruled the kingdom righteously. It was during his reign that Parikshit, a devout devotee of Lord Krishna, was born to Uttara.

The discourse also shed light on the spiritual journey of Vidura. Upon returning from a pilgrimage, Vidur met the Pandavas. Yudhishthir greeted him warmly, saying, “Saints like you are the true essence of pilgrimages.” “Saints like you transform mere pilgrimages into profound sanctuaries of redemption.” The gathering of pilgrims pondered deeply, asking the Lord about the fate of the sins that sinners abandon at these holy sites. “What shall we do with the burdens they cast aside?” they inquired. The Lord, with a benevolent smile, replied, “When my saints grace you with their touch, the act of washing their feet will cleanse you of all your transgressions, restoring your purity.”

Yudhishthir then remarked, “Vidur ji, you are the embodiment of pilgrimages; you transform them into true sanctuaries.” Swami Badrish Maharaj further elaborated on the significance of saints in the context of the Kumbh Mela. He explained that the touch of a saint can purify even the most sinful of places, making the Kumbh Mela a particularly sacred event.

The discourse took a poignant turn as Swami Badrish Maharaj recounted Vidura's visit to his elder brother, Dhritarashtra. Despite the passage of time, Dhritarashtra was unable to find peace due to his past sins. Vidura confronted Dhritarashtra about his actions and the consequences he faced. The spiritual leader highlighted the importance of living a righteous life and the inevitability of karma.
 
The discourse concluded with a profound message on the importance of spirituality, devotion, and the eternal consequences of one's actions. Devotees attending the discourse were deeply moved by the spiritual insights shared by Swami Badrish Maharaj.

Earlier that day, at the Maharishi Ashram, situated on the banks of the Sangam during the Maha Kumbh, in the presence of Brahmachari Girish Ji, a devout disciple of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ji, 1,331 recitations of Rudrashtadhyayi and Havans were performed by Vedic Pandits for the welfare of the entire world.

In the afternoon, Katha of Shrimad Bhagwad Puran has started. Acharya Shri Badrish Ji Maharaj of Vrindavan is the Katha Vyas. This katha will continue till 21st January. Acharya Ji has explained the importance of Shrimad Bhagwat and listening it. He also explained that great king Parikshit has got Moksha and many other have enjoyed the same. He said the that listeners must be having soft and pure heart to listen so that the person enjoys the devotion value mentioned in the literature. 

Grand Kalash procession also was organised before Katha in which large number of Vedic Pundits and Ladies have participated. The procession received welcome and showers of flowers at many places on the way.

On Wednesday, the Ati Rudrabhishek Yagna was held, accompanied by a sacred Havan and Aarti, taking place from 9 AM to 1 PM. Following this, the revered and globally acclaimed Acharya Shri Badrish Ji Maharaj commenced a grand Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha Amrit Pravah. The program began with a heartfelt Guru Pujan and the Pooja-Archana of the 'Vyas Gaddi.' The Katha Amrit Pravah will continue daily until January 21, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The previous day, on Tuesday, the serene ambiance of Maharishi Ashram resonated with the melodious tunes of the Bhajan Sandhya program. On this special day, Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj shared his blessings, noting that today is the birthday of both Swami Vivekananda and Maharshi Ji. Both have represented our Sanatan tradition globally. Brahma embodies truth and knowledge, and He is the essence of everything in this world. Nothing can exist without Him. Maharshi Mahesh Yogi, a great disciple of our Gurudev, shared Gurudev's teachings and knowledge throughout the country. While Vivekananda also took this knowledge abroad, but he was unable to fulfill this mission entirely. Maharshi Ji successfully spread it worldwide through his teachings.

We often have a tendency to forget, even the words of our great leaders, but Maharshi Ji worked hard to share his Gurudev's teachings gained from meditation. We should meditate on our God. We believe that meditating on nothing, or zero, is not important. Zero means nothing, while the soul means everything. Maharishi Ji has established a vast and supportive community dedicated to spiritual growth, and under the leadership of Brahmachari Girish Ji, the important work that Maharishi Ji initiated is being carried on diligently and continuously. 

Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj encouraged everyone to adopt meditation in their lives. He wishes for us to practice meditation and achieve soul realization through it. This is his blessing for us.

In his keynote address, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji mentioned that Jagatguru Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj is present today to bless all of us. Today is an auspicious occasion, marking the 108th birthday of Maharshi Ji, as well as the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. We have gathered to remember and embody Maharshi Ji's teachings of Ved Vigyan.

Reflecting on Maharshi Ji's life, Girish Ji shared that he was born in the village of Panduka in 1917. Maharshi Ji played a unique role in spreading the ideals of Indian Sanatan Gyan Vigyan across the globe. Maharshi Ji emerged from a small village and proudly spread the flag of Indian Sanatan knowledge and science around the world, which is truly unique. He consistently attributed his success to his Guru. Every year on Guru Purnima, he would offer everything he achieved to his Gurudev. Maharshi Ji had a special connection to Prayagraj, where he continued his education after childhood. However, he eventually chose to leave his education unfinished and dedicate himself fully to his Gurudev. Maharishi Ji had no regrets about this choice, as he received an all-encompassing education from his Guru. Maharshi Ji taught that studying one subject helps in understanding all subjects, with the main focus being on the 'Aatma.' Understanding the ‘Aatma’ leads to knowledge of all other subjects. 

Brahmachari Girish Ji said that Maharshi Ji described the active form of the soul as consciousness. He identified seven levels of consciousness. He explained that if you make a resolution while in a state of transcendental consciousness, that resolution is guaranteed to be fulfilled. Once a person reaches a level of accomplishment, they no longer need to make specific resolutions; instead, they find that nature itself begins to fulfill their wishes naturally.

On this occasion, Swami Chidanand Saraswati, head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, stated, "Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation teaches the art of living. Maharishi Ji connected it with knowledge, and Swami Vivekanand Ji awakened it. This connection is why the influence of knowledge is growing within the global system today; we must focus on meditation."

On this occasion, a seminar was organised with the theme "Establishment of World Peace through Indian Vedic Culture and Traditions, where the former Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, along with Madhusudan Deshpande Ji, Director of Ojas Foundation shared their thoughts. Deshpande Ji explained that individuals who commit to practicing this meditation for just 20 minutes twice a day can experience numerous physical and mental health benefits. Concluding the seminar, Brahmachari Girish Ji said, "Our stories, examples, Ramcharit Manas, Srimad Bhagavad Gita, etc. have small lessons embedded in them that tell us about the traditions of India. PRAYAGRAJ [Maha Media]: A grand procession marked the arrival of Anant Shri Vibhushit Jyotishpeethadheeshwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji at the Sangam confluence today. Thousands of devotees lined the streets to welcome the Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj and seek his blessings.

A majestic procession, led by the Shankaracharya, made its way through the city accompanied by hundreds of disciples from the Jyotish Peeth. The procession was graced by the special presence of Brahmachari Girish Ji, the head of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Sansthan.

The vibrant procession, marked by the rhythmic beats of bands, traversed various routes before culminating at the holy Sangam confluence. The Shankaracharya himself rode in a splendid royal chariot, bestowing blessings upon the countless devotees who lined the streets. The enthusiastic crowd showered the spiritual leader with flowers as a token of their reverence. Upon reaching the Sangam, Brahmachari Girish Ji extended a warm welcome to the Shankaracharya.

Brahmachari Girish Ji, in his address, said, "Under the guidance of Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj, Sanatan Dharma and Indian culture have left an indelible mark on the world. He said that the blessings of Shankaracharya will benefit millions of people during the Kumbh."

Swami Girish announced that the birth anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi will be celebrated as "Gyan Yug Diwas" on January 12 at the Maharishi Ashram in Prayagraj, with the Shankaracharya as the chief guest.

It is noteworthy that the Maha Kumbh, the world's largest spiritual congregation, will be held from January 13 to February 26. As per tradition, all Shankaracharyas, saints, and spiritual leaders have established their camps at the event.

From January 22 to January 28, Acharya Shri Ramvilas Chaturvedi will lead the Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha Amrit Pravah. Afterward, from January 29 to February 4, devotees will have the opportunity to experience the Shri Ram Katha Amrit Pravah. This engaging session will be presented by the melodious Acharya Shri Krishnadas Ji Maharaj, who is known for his sweet singing and storytelling ability. Finally, from February 6 to February 12, the program will conclude with the Shri Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha Amrit Pravah, conducted by Acharya Dr. Nilimp Tripathi. 

Cultural programs will take place daily from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM during the month-long Kumbh festival. These programs will feature famous artists including bhajan singer Anuradha Agasti, Ramayana and bhajan artist Pandit Lakshikant Kandpal, and classical singer Tarang Kandpal. People can also enjoy performances by tabla player Pandit Anup Ghosh, tabla and santoor player Dr. Shrikant Agasti, and Sitar player Professor Ravi Sharma. These musicians will create a joyful atmosphere and inspire devotion among the audience.

The Mahakumbh will begin with the Paush Purnima Snan, which is on 13 January 2025. The Kumbh festival will conclude with the final bath on 26 February 2025, the day of Mahashivratri.

     In his presidential address, Brahmchari Girish Ji expressed gratitude to the United Nations and all the member countries for declaring 21 December as World Meditation Day. He stated, "This is the result of the long-standing Sadhna of Indian sages generating the influence of 

‘ Satv ‘ in the collective consciousness of India and other nations that after the International Yoga Day, attention has now turned to meditation, and the resolution to celebrate World Meditation Day has been passed."

He further emphasized the significance of Transcendental Meditation technique, pioneered by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and said that “ this technique, tested and proven by over 700 research studies in 35 countries brings about all positivity in the collective unconscious of the society and then of the world eliminating every type of negativity. Therefore, all of us must practice Transcendental Meditation regularly, twice a day.”

Professor Bhuvnesh Sharma, former Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, highlighted the unique benefits of Transcendental Meditation. "Among all the yoga techniques in the world, the Transcendental Meditation technique is the best because it is spontaneous, simple, natural, effortless, and the most effective method," he said.

HYDERABAD [Maha Media]: The Silver Jubilee function celebrating 25 years of Maharishi Vidya Mandir School, Hyderabad, was held with the esteemed presence of Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group Chairman, Brahmachari Girish Ji.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The "Deepawali Gyan Prakash Satsang" was held at the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Institute in Bhopal. Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of Maharishi Educational Institutions Group, began the program by lighting a lamp. 

Addressing the gathering, Brahmachari Girish Ji said, "When we talk about society, it always includes the global family. Nowadays, people's lives are not what they should be. It is the need of the hour to purify and refine people's consciousness. Today, everyone talks about the different levels of the brain and the mind. However, people do not know the difference between the mind and the brain. The mind is software, while the brain is hardware. At the base of the mind is consciousness, and at the base of consciousness is the soul."

Brahmachari Girish Ji explained that to succeed in any area of life, we must connect with our soul. He criticized the education system for being too theoretical and lacking practical application, especially regarding Sadhana. He pointed out that Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools teach at a higher level of consciousness rather than simply providing book knowledge. He expressed concern that it is troubling if someone with a PhD does not even know the first verse of the Rigveda or Sandhya Vandana.

Brahmachari Ji related Maharishi Ji's teachings, noting that they built their knowledge community through the blessings of the Guru. He urged everyone to practice the techniques taught by Maharishi Ji to help reduce stress in the world. He mentioned that the technology of Transcendental Meditation is available to everyone. While many people focus on Asanas and Yoga, he believes not enough attention is given to knowledge. Maharishi Ji established 3,000 centers worldwide, all named Ashtanga Yoga Centers.

Brahmachari Girish Ji said we want to bring together 10,000 Sadhaks to help make the world a better place. These Sadhaks will practice Yogic Flying, Transcendental Meditation, and Siddhi Sutra while following Vedic routines in one location. Brahmachari Girish Ji invited everyone present to support the Maharishi Institute's initiative and to join others who are interested in our program. Together, we can create a community that promotes peace and greater awareness for everyone.

Brahmachari Ji also raised concerns about the general lack of health awareness and announced a campaign to educate people about this issue. He launched the Mahaswasthya Abhiyan to promote health awareness. The magazine Ojasvi will help spread this message to a wider audience, focusing on Sadhana.

Mr. Aseem Shrivastava, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in Madhya Pradesh, shared his thoughts during the Satsang. He stressed that people face many challenges that affect their lives. He called for urgent efforts to conserve trees, forest land, and wildlife, while also reducing carbon emissions and promoting tree planting.

Shri Ravindra Kanhare, Chairman of the Private University Fee Regulatory Commission, also attended the Satsang. He highlighted India's rich spiritual heritage and the importance of including Indian knowledge in school curricula. He stated that participation is essential.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The grandeur of the Maharishi National Cultural Celebration (MNCC) was concluded on Monday with a three-day colorful programme organised at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, Maharishi Vidhya Mandir, Ratanpur, Hoshangabad road, Bhopal. 

The three-day Maharishi National Cultural Celebration was inaugurated under the chairmanship of Brahmachari Girish Ji on Saturday. In this annual cultural Kumbh, about 466 participants from 15 different states participated in various events including singing, dancing, painting, yogic flying, yoga, Ramayana recitation competition, math and science exhibition, debate competition, and Sanskrit Shloka chanting. 

The valedictory function of the Maharishi National Cultural Celebration started with Guru Parampara Poojan, Vedic Shanti Path followed by a traditional welcome of the extinguished guest. This was followed by group songs in Bengali, Chhattisgarhi and Tamil languages by the students. Sushri Usha Thakur Ji, Hon'ble Minister for Tourism, Culture & Adhyatm was the chief guest for today's program, but due to some urgent work, she could not attend the program. Sushri Usha Thakur Ji in her video message expressed regret for not attending the program and congratulated all the participants from her department.

On this occasion, the results and prize distribution of various competitions were also presented by Brahmachari Girish Ji and members of the National Board of Directors MVM Schools Group. MVM Hyderabad secured the first position in Senior Secondary School with a cash prize of Rs 751000. MVM Thanjavur secured the first position in Secondary School with a cash prize of Rs 551000. The participants of MVM Guwahati secured the top position by winning a total of 17 medals in various events, while Prayagraj secured the second position by winning 9 medals!  Apart from this, students from other MVM schools including Hyderabad, Naini, Chennai, Jabalpur, Bhandara, Haldwani and Bhopal also won several awards proving their excellence.

On the second day of the celebration, October 24, various competitions will be held. Students who excelled at the Maharishi Regional National Cultural Festival will showcase their talents in multiple disciplines. A total of 426 students from 61 Maharishi schools across India will participate in both solo and group categories, with 24 different types of competitions planned for the event.

The valedictory function of the Maharishi National Cultural Celebration will take place at 2:30 pm on October 25. During this ceremony, Brahmachari Girish Ji and the chief guest, MP Alok Sharma from Bhopal, will announce the results, followed by a prize distribution.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The two-day Maharishi Kids Homes National Cultural Celebration ended with great enthusiasm at Maharishi Mangalam Bhavan, MVM Ratanpur School in Bhopal. 

The second day of the Cultural Celebration was graced by the presence of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, V.R Khare-Director CPR, Dr. Madhusudan Deshpande-Director Ojas Foundation-Smt. Invincibility and peace are in Transcendental Meditation.  Peace is not outside the tree but in its roots, it is in consciousness. If we want to achieve peace at every level, we must stop the Pragyapradh. When this stops, we will be able to experience consciousness through Transcendental Meditation. By diving into this ocean of existence and crossing it, we will be able to achieve Moksha (salvation), which is the ultimate goal of our lives.  ‘Moksh’ can be achieved only by Transcendental Meditation. 

Earlier, the program began with the Shri Guru Parampara Poojan and Swasti Vachan performed by Vedic Pandits. This was followed by the traditional felicitation of the dignitaries with Tilak and plant samplings. After the felicitation, all the attendees participated in a group practice of Transcendental Meditation. NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat released the third edition of Ved Bhashya of all four Vedas in Hindi written by Padma Vibhushan Ved Murti Shripad Damodar Satwalekar at the famous Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University (MMYVU) has signed an MOU with the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)–Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI) at Bhopal. 

Prof. Pramod Kumar Verma, Vice Chancellor of the university and  Dr. Avanish Kumar Srivastava, Director CSIR-AMPRI Bhopal has signed the MOU in the presence of Shri Rajendra Shukla Ji, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.  Both organisations will work together in the field of research in various fields required for the development of society at large.  
 

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Brahmachari Girish Ji, the Head of Maharishi Group of Educational Institutions, attended a conference on "Effective Treatment of Cancer through Panchgavya Chikitsa" organised by "Gauvigyan Anusandhan Kendra Delhi" and "Sharda Vihar" Bhopal. 

National top-level Scientists from the field of General Health, Ayurveda, Cancer and other disciplines with Doctors and Vaidyas were present in the conference.  Number of scientists have presented their research work and papers and shared astonishing information on their research work done so far in treatment of Cancer and other diseases using “Panchgavya”. 

In his address, Brahmachari Girish Ji highlighted the need for continuing research for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases and emphasized the importance of large cow dairies, a campaign for a cow in each home, and large-scale production of medicinal products. He also committed, on behalf of the Maharishi Organization, full support for such research for the benefit of the public.
 

UJJAIN [Maha Media: On Monday, Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vikram University Ujjain. As a result, the "Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Gyanpeeth" will now be established at Vikram University.

Addressing this occasion, Brahmachari Girish Ji, the Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (MMYVV), expressed that "His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji introduced the eternal Indian Vedic knowledge tradition to the entire world. RAIPUR [Maha Media]: The Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Maharishi University of Management and Technology, Colonel (Retd.) Professor TPS Kandra, Registrar Dr. Vijay Garudik, and Dean Dr. Vikas Mathur met with the Governor of Chhattisgarh, Biswabhusan Harichandan Ji at Raj Bhavan in Raipur on Wednesday.

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: The third "Gyanamrit Satsang" was held at the Maharishi Vedic Cultural Center in Arera Colony, Bhopal, on Thursday. The event featured a group of insightful speakers and intellectuals from the city.

The program began with a video of Maharishi Updeshamrit Pravah, in which His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji declared his resolve to make India the world leader. In the video, Maharishi Ji stated, "India is the only nation that can establish world peace by bringing about a meaningful change in the collective consciousness of the world."

During the program,  Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, the former Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, talked about the scientific aspects of Transcendental Meditation and the Siddhi Program. The Transcendental Meditation that Maharishi Ji has given us has been proven by modern science and the experience of millions of people. Therefore, with the effect of Transcendental Meditation, we can be successful in bringing peace to the whole world by experimenting in India. He explained that Yoga means balancing the nervous system and Transcendental Meditation is a technique to seek the inner being. Knowledge, understanding, and experience is necessary to have real experience of Transcendental consciousness and all other higher states of consciousness.

Tiwari, Joint Director of the Biodiversity Department of the Institute, provided insightful information about the 'Kitchen Garden' and detailed the benefits of connecting with nature, explaining that growing vegetables using organic methods not only improves health but also contributes to mental well-being.

Addressing this occasion, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji said that today yoga is getting respect all over the world, the credit for this is given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which is also right, but Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji gave the biggest gift to humanity by sharing the knowledge of yoga and Transcendental Meditation with everyone in 1957 itself. Today, crores of people worldwide are getting physical and mental benefits by practicing it regularly.

Girish Ji further said that it has been scientifically proven that 20 minutes of Transcendental Meditation gives us rest equivalent to 8 hours of sleep. Therefore, we should regularly practice Transcendental Meditation twice a day. And we should also try to practice yoga every day, not just on any particular day.

Brahmachari Girish Ji praised PM Modi, asserting that many years ago, Modi Ji had met Maharshi Ji, who bestowed upon him a blessing of success. This blessing has been the driving force behind Modi Ji's commitment to the progress of the country. This exceptional quality of Modi Ji is one that all should aspire to emulate.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Vasudev Dwivedi Ji-Deputy Director of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools died at a hospital in Bhopal on Thurday. Vasudev Dwivedi Ji is survived by his wife, Brother Ramdev Dwivedi Ji and two sons.

His last rites will be performed at Subhas Nagar Crematorium in Bhopal at 5 pm. 

Brahmachari Girish Ji condoled the demise of dedicated senior member of Maharishi Organisation, Vasudev Dwivedi Ji, saying we will always miss his physical presence and ever smiling sweet personality.

In his message, hon'ble chairman Girish Ji said that "Having received the immense blessings of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, my dear younger brother Shri Vasudev Dwivedi Ji, a very hard-working and dedicated senior member of Maharishi Organisation, left for Heavenly abode–Vaikuntha Dham early in the morning today. His entire life was devoted for  Maharishi Ji. While successfully running many projects of Maharishi organisations, being a Vedic Acharya himself, he played an important role in performing many yagyas. Our heartfelt tribute to Vasudev ji. We will always miss his physical presence and ever smiling sweet personality. I pray that Lord Shri Hari Narayan ji grants the supreme place to Vasudev ji at his lotus feet. With heartfelt condolences to his family members, I and Maharishi Sansthan are with the family today in this time of immense sorrow and will remain so in the future also. This initiative took place on Sunday at the Maharishi Vedic Cultural Centre in Bhopal. Renowned experts in the field, including Vaidya Vinayak Tayde, a Nadi Pariksha specialist from Mumbai, and Vaidya Madhusudan Deshpande, a skilled Panchkram specialist from Bhopal, offered Ayurvedic treatments and conducted examinations for various ailments.

The inauguration of the free health camp started with Guru Puja and Lord Dhanvantari Puja. Women have a major role in all important decisions in every household, and it is natural for us to accept what our mother says without any denial.

Addressing all the women representatives present, Brahmachari Girish Ji asserted that women naturally have unlimited power, and once they resolve, they never leave it without completing it. To recognize their strength, all women should practice Transcendental Meditation regularly for 20 minutes in the morning and evening. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has made this meditation technique easy, effortless, and scientific. Hon’ble Girish Ji confidently stated that if women practice Transcendental Meditation and its advanced techniques regularly, no power in the world could ever stop them from fulfilling their resolutions. BHOPAL [Maha Media]: A one-day consultative meeting on the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission was held at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, MVM Ratanpur School, Hosangabad Road in Bhopal. While addressing the gathering, Brahmachari Girish Ji expressed his utmost satisfaction to be a part of the Ayurveda conference. He emphasized that during the time of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, hundreds of conferences were organized regularly on Ayurveda. At that time, Vaidyas were given the respect they deserved, and Maharishi himself sent over 700 Ayurvedic experts to different countries abroad after arranging their visas and passports. After deep study and research, Maharishi Ayurved began its work in 1975. Maharishi Ji is the one who coined the slogans of a "Disease-Free Society" and "Ghar-Ghar Ayurveda".

In order to expand our knowledge of Ayurveda, we must adopt a positive attitude toward it. We must prioritize Ayurveda over allopathy and actively encourage others to do the same. Ayurveda is. Sanskrit word derived from two roots: Ayus which means life, and Veda which means knowledge meaning "science of life".  At our organization, Veda unequivocally represents pure knowledge. We firmly believe that by diligently nourishing our roots and consciousness, success is not just achievable, but inevitable. We must practice transcendental meditation regularly, for 20 minutes twice a day. Furthermore, we have ambitious plans to hire more than 10,000 Vaidyas shortly. That's why we've joined the Health Care Professional Registry to connect with all of you outstanding individuals and work together to promote Ayurveda, Brahmachari Girish Ji added.

HYDERABAD [Maha Media]: The Global Union of Scientists for Peace (GUSP) on Friday organised a two-week assembly of about 10,000 Transcendental Meditation experts from 134 countries at Kanha Shanti Vanam near Hyderabad for World Peace, which will convene until 13 January 2024.

Among 10,125 representatives from 134 nations, Brahmachari Girish Ji, the most blessed disciple of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji and Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group attended the assembly. Around 1000 Vedic Pundits, principals, TM teachers, other subject teachers, and staff members of the Maharishi Organisation also joined this unique initiative to establish peace all over the world.

In his spiritual visit to the world's oldest religious city Varanasi, Brahmachari Girish Ji took the blessing of Anant Shri Vibhushit Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath, Badrikashram, Himalaya and performed 'Rudrabhishek' of Lord Shiva with Shri Kashi Vidwat Parishad, Akhil Bhartiya Sant Samiti, Akhil Bhartiya Akhada Parishad, Ganga Mahasabha in coordination of Swami Jitendranand Saraswati Ji, Mahamantri Ganga Mahasabha in presence of 1200 Mahatmas from all over India.

During his 3-hour stay at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple complex, Brahmachari Girish Ji had a detailed discussion with Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj about the future programs of Maharishi Sansthan and received the blessings of many Mahamandaleshwars, Mahants, Sadhu and Saints.
 

VARANASI [Maha Media]: Brahmachari Girish Ji, Head of Maharishi Group of Educational Institutions attended the four-day "Sanskriti Sansad 2023" organised by Ganga Mahasabha under the guidance of Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti and Shri Kashi Vidvat Parishad at Rudraksha Convention Centre in Varanasi.

In this 4-day Sanskriti Sansad, apart from five major organisations related to Hindu culture, 1500 Saint-Mahamandaleeshwars and heads of 127 sects gathered from across the country had a comprehensive discussion on Sanatan cultural tradition, Veda Yoga and Sanatan Dharma.

While addressing the gathering, Ved Vidhya Martand, Brahmachari Girish Ji remembered late VHP president Ashok Singhal and his efforts in the 'Ram Janmabhoomi' movement and construction of Sri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Brahmachari Girish Ji said that Maharishi Ji had organized Atirudrabhishek by Vedic pundits in Ayodhya 40 years ago, in which Singhal Ji also participated. Maharishi Ji had conducted a research in which it was revealed that there are more than 3000 places in the whole world which are somehow connected with the name of Lord Ram. 

Brahmachari Girish Ji said that after many years of efforts, a grand temple of Lord Ram is being built in Ayodhya, it will be a very happy moment for all of us. Girish further said that Maharishi Ji used to say that if a big line is made in front of a small line, then that small line will cease to exist. There is no need to delete that line. Maharishi Ji traveled to about 124 countries where he propagated Sanatan Dharma among people of all religions. He used to say that no matter how much opposition there is to Sanatan Dharma, one should not be afraid.

Brahmachari Girish Ji invited all Saints to be together to create permanent World Peace based on Vedic Principles and Technologies.

In this Sanskriti Sansad 2023 held from November 2 to November 5, where efforts were made to awaken the Sanatani people in different sessions, the continuous attacks on Sanatan Dharma and Jihadi terrorism were also openly discussed. 
 

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Female wing of Maharishi World Peace Movement Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal (SDM) celebrated Pre-Diwali at Maharishi Vedic Sanskritic Kendra, Arera Colony, Bhopal on 09th November 2023. 

Addressing the programme, Smt. Arya Nandkumar (National Secretory Communication) welcomed all the participants with a blissful heart. Ms.Kanchan Balapure explained the importance of Diwali in our lives. 

The Program started with Guru Poojan and Group Meditation. Post Meditation Two fun games was organized for the participants. The first game was “Dumb Charades”  and the second one was ”Sing a Song”.

In the First competition, the first prize was won by team B. In the second competition, the first prize was won by Smt. Reeta Prakasham and second prize won by Smt.Anubha Mishra.

MVM Guwahati has received the highest number of awards in all categories, followed by MVM Tiruvannamalai and MVM Hyderabad. Brahmachari Girish Ji declared MVM Guwahati as the winner of MNCC 2023 and MVM Tiruvannamalai as the overall champion, all the winners and their regions were awarded trophies and cash prizes.

The memorable three days of Cultural extravaganza MNCC 2023 commenced on 27th October, was concluded on 29th October, with the remaining competitions, like Vocal Semi Classical Junior and Senior and Orchestra followed by Valedictory function presided by Hon'ble Brahmachari Girish Ji, in the august presence of all the Directors of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, Principals of various Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools, teachers, students, staff members and parents.

Earlier, the Valedictory function started with Shree Guru Parampara Poojan by Maharishi Vedic Pandits. Welcome song was presented by the students of MVM Trilanga School followed by Krishna Bhajan presented by the students of MVM Ratanpur. BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The two-day Maharishi Kids Home-Maharishi National Cultural Festival concluded with full fervor and dignity at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, MVM School Ratanpur with the gracious presence of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon'ble Chairman, Maharishi Kids Home Group.

Addressing the two-day National Cultural Celebration of Maharishi Kids Home, Brahmachari Girish Ji congratulated everyone associated with MKH and especially the parents of the children studying here.  Brahmachari Ji said that special thanks to the parents because they have chosen Maharishi Kids Home for the education and training of their children. The task of educating such small children of this age is not so easy; They need special attention to learn and understand something new and all this can be possible only through their all-round development. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Self-reliant India', Brahmachari Girish Ji said that by self-reliant in his slogan, he does not mean financial self-reliance, it means dependence of the soul. Children who live a subjective and conscious life will achieve success in every field of their life. They will never have any kind of deficiency, rather they will be able to overcome the shortcomings of others. Because there will be perfection within them.

Earlier, the 2-day programme started with Shree Guru Parampara Poojan and Shanti Path by Vedic Pandits. After that, the venue Principal BS Guleria welcomed all the distinguished guests by giving a sapling and bouquet. The events of this national cultural festival were divided into three groups- Kilkari, Phulwari, and Natkhat. Around 600 students from six Maharishi Kids Homes across the country participated in seven different programmes. The second day of the National Cultural Celebration began with a group dance by little tots from the Phulwari group; followed by other performances which created a magical charm among the audience who were left mesmerized by the sheer talent of the students.

During the event, certificates were presented to the winners of various competitions by Brahmachari Girish Ji, in the presence of V. R. Delivering his keynote address, Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon'ble Chairman Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group appreciated the efforts of the little kids of Maharishi Kids Home for their magical performances and wished them all the good wishes for future.

The two-day cultural celebration formally began Guru Puja amid Vedic chanting by Maharishi Vedic Pandits. The ceremony was accompanied by patriotic song 'Saare Jahan Se Accha' by little performers. This was followed by the dance performance which enthralled the audience. The stage came alive with fancy dress competition and solo dance performances and received a big round of applause from the audience.

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Each year the International Day of Peace (IDP) is observed around the world on 21 September. It's a day that aims to reduce violence and to strengthen the ideals of peace around the world.

History:
The United Nations General Assembly passed Resolution 36/67 on September 30, 1981, that called for a global ceasefire and the cessation of all hostilities on that day and thereby declared the third Tuesday of September each year as the International Day of Peace. The first International Day of Peace was celebrated on September 21, 1982 and marked a significant step towards promoting peace and raising awareness about the importance of peacekeeping efforts around the world but it was later in 2001 that the official date was declared as September 21.

Until then, it was observed on the inaugural session of the annual General Assembly, the third Tuesday of September.

It is necessary that we should present this knowledge to every citizen of India. Knowledge is the basis of organising power. Knowledge lies in the consciousness, in the soul-Atma and His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji has given the simplest method to awaken consciousness to the whole world.By awakening the consciousness, we have the ability to awaken the all the areas of knowledge and can awaken the full potential of organizing power. Right now, freedom is understood only as political freedom. In fact, freedom is the administration of the self-Atma. It is the kingdom of the self-Atma, it is Ramrajya, it is Athavedanushasanam, it is Athyoganushasanam. We have to spread this message and this technique to all the citizens. The techniques of Yoga and Yagua are at the root of development in India. All of you Vedics are experts in this. I welcome all of you, let us repeat the pledge today for the entire world family through India, that we will fulfill the aspirations of “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah” of our Vedic Masters of Holi Tradition– Vedic Guru Parampara very soon.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: In the able guidance of Hon’ble Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, Brahmachari Girish Ji and under the banner of Maharishi World Peace Movement, the 9th edition of ‘International Yoga Day’ celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, Maharishi Vidya Mandir School, Ratanpur on Wednesday.

The program started with Guru Poojan following welcome song and Yoga song by the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Ratanpur. After this, all the present students performed Surya Namaskar, different asanas of Yoga and transcendental meditation in unison.  All members of the Maharishi family including Directors, teachers, staff and students were also present and performed different asanas of Yoga according to the instructions for nearly an hour on this occasion.

In a video message on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, Hon’ble Brahmachari Girish Ji said that today the whole world has become ‘Yogmay’ but Yoga is not a one-day event it should be done every day. Along with yoga, if we include the practice of Transcendental Meditation daily in the morning and evening, then its benefits will be doubled. Maharishi Organisation is working to implement many divine resolutions of Maharishi Ji so that every member if world family enjoys the results, freedom from stress, anxiety, fatigue and fear, positivity, peaceful life and totality in life –holistic life-Heavenly life on earth. 

Brahmachari Girish Ji urged everyone to make yoga a part of their daily routine for good health and divine. The first two steps, Yama and Niyama is one of the most useful parts of the practice of yoga. If you imbibe Yama and Niyama in your life and practice transcendental meditation twice a day then establishment of Ram Rajya on the earth is possible. Heaven on the earth is the real concept of Ram Rajya. This is necessary for happiness and joy in the whole world.

Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University said that Transcendental Meditation is one of the simplest forms of Yoga. BHOPAL [Maha Media]: With the blessing of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon'ble Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group and Dr Bhuvnesh Shama, Vice Chancellor-Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya, Maharishi Institute of Skill Development and Training has launched online Gita Recitation classes for children. This online course aimed towards enabling children to learn Sanskrit through Shlokas from the Bhagwad Gita and imbibe valuable life lessons from its teachings. 

The virtual classes will start from June 27 and classes will be held every Tuesday between 5 PM to 6 PM.

The fee for this online Gita recitation classes is Rs 701, which is a one-time contribution for two years for students in the age group of 8 to 18 years to learn all the 18 chapters of Bhagavad Gita. Children under the age of 13 must attend this online classes under the supervision of their parents.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: A 10-Day Maharishi Vedic-Life Training Programme was inaugurated at Maharishi Vidya Mandir National Camp Office at MCEE Campus, Bhopal on Monday. Hon’ble Chairman MVM Schools Group Brahmachari Girish Ji inaugurated the programme with Guru Pujan and remembered the work done by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji for upliftment and reestablishment of Vedic culture.  

98 students and 16 teachers from MVM schools across the country participated in the training program organised from May 16 to May 25. The students were selected by passing a special test. This training is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the students where they are introduced to the principles of Vedic science and Vedic knowledge for a successful life. 

Welcoming the students, Hon’ble Brahmachari Girish Ji said that it is an auspicious moment that today I am addressing two generations of people, administrators and students. In the month of September this year, I will complete 40 years working for the fulfillment of Maharishi Ji's resolution. While highlighting the achievement and life journey of Maharishi Ji, Brahmachari Girish Ji said that Maharishi Ji was a great saint, who was born in Panduka, a small village of Chhattisgarh, where he had to walk 5 miles for his early education. It is unimaginable that even after being from such a place, he traveled to more than 124 countries to spread the light of Vedic knowledge across the globe. 

Maharishi Ji always used to say that there are two valuable things in his life, first is the knowledge received from Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati and second is his blessings. Along with Vidhi Sharma, globally acclaimed tabla maestro and composer Pandit Anoop Ghosh, renowned percussionist Satish Kumar Solanki and keyboardist Pawan Kumar enthrall the audience. The power of Vidhi Sharma's voice made the audience clap and sing along with her.

Singer Nidhi Sharma started the Bhajanamrit program with hymns of Saint Kabir and presented a series of Bhajan’s dedicated to Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Guru and Devi Maa. Nidhi gave a memorable performance, especially her bhajans dedicated to Lord Ram that lit up the entire atmosphere of Brahmanand Ashram.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vishwa Vidyapeetham (MVVVV) is the only institution of its kind in the world founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji. Vidyapeetham established in 1982 has trained over 60,000 Vedic Pundits and Scholars in theories and practical aspects of Ved and Vedic Literature. 

Maharishi Organisation has invited applications for two thousand posts for Transcendental Meditation and Yoga Teacher Training Programme. Applicants having Bachelor's degree in any one of the discipline (Arts, Science, Commerce, Language, Management and Computer Science) or Master's degree in Medical Science, Engineering and Law can apply for Transcendental Meditation and Yoga Teacher Training Program.

The training fee is Rs 50000 per person which includes food, accommodation and training material. The age of the applicant should be between 22 to 40 years.

Selected candidates will be provided residential training for three months in Bhopal. After that, there will be residential training of 1-1 month again at an interval of 6 months. After successfully completing the training, candidates can earn money between Rs.10000 to Rs.30000. In addition, they can work full-time or part-time as teacher of Transcendental Meditation and Yoga.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The 150th birth anniversary of Gurudev Swami Shri Brahmanand Saraswati Ji and the Aradhana Mahotsav of Swami Shri Shantanand Saraswati Ji began at Shankaracharya Ashram, Alopibagh, Prayagraj today under the patronage of Jagatguru Shankaracharya of Jyotirmath Swami Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj Ji.

The 10-day festival began with Paduka Pujan and Vyas Gadi Pujan followed by the lighting of the lamp by Vedic Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. Brahmachari Girish Ji also performed Guru Puja with Vedic chanting by Vedic Pundits. Swami Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj Ji welcomes all the distinguished guests with shawls, flower bouquets, and mementos. Along with the chief guest RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Keshari Nath Tripathi, former Governor of West Bengal, Brahmachari Hari Chaitanya Ji and Katha Vyas, Param Pujya Swami Shri Jitendranath Ji Maharaj, Shrinath Peethadhishwar were also present.

They also used to say that nothing will happen without religion”.

“Dharma means taking everyone along, driving everyone together, uplifting everyone. Where there is no religion, people believe that the one who is strong will go ahead and the one who is weak will surely die. Religion says that the one who is strong should protect the weak. Religion comes out of spirituality,” Bhagwat said.

RSS chief said, “It is spirituality that purifies our individual life, our family life and our national social life. If people do not get guidance, they go astray. It is the good fortune of our nation that the tradition of great men who guide the people by their conduct has continued unbroken. Brahmalin Swami Shantanand Saraswati was from the same tradition.”

Bhagwat said, “To make life a human life, one has to be spiritual. Looking at material and spiritual life separately is not our attitude because we look at all things from a holistic point of view.”

After that Shrimad Bhagwat Katha was recited by Shri Jitendranath Ji Maharaj, and which will continue till 08 December 2022 from 2 pm.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The two-day Maharishi Kids Home-Maharishi National Cultural Celebration concluded with full fervor and dignity at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, MVM School Ratanpur with the gracious presence of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon'ble Chairman, Maharishi Kids Home Group.

Brahmachari Girish Ji, the chief guest of the function started his speech by congratulating all especially the parents for their efforts and support. Brahmachari Girish Ji said that it is a matter of great pleasure that such a large number of children participated in this cultural program today. And he felt happy to see the wonderful performance of the children in such a short span of time. Maharishi Ji often used to say that there is no happiness in small, we get more happiness by doing big things. Presently our number of participants is in three digits and with the collective efforts of all of us, we have to reach this number to 10 digits.

Brahmachari Girish Ji further said that “Nowadays there is a lack of values in the collective consciousness, so we have to give the Sanskar of Swara, Taal, and Laya along with Transcendental Meditation and Yoga to the young children. The role of both teachers and parents is important in this. After mastering these things, children will continue to be successful in every sphere of life. Brahmachari Girish Ji congratulated all the students who participated in this cultural celebration including the victorious children and wished them success.

Earlier, 2-day programme started with Shree Guru Parampara Poojan and Shanti Path by Vedic Pandits. After that the venue Principal BS Guleria welcomed all the distinguished guests by giving a sapling. The events of this national cultural festival were divided into three groups- Kilkari, Phulwari and Natkhat. Around 600 students from six Maharishi Kids Homes across the country participated in seven different programmes. Maharishi Kids Home Tirunamalai was declared the winner with most of the awards, followed by Maharishi Kids Home - Kalapahar and Maharishi Kids Home - Guwahati at the second and third positions respectively.

Addressing the programme, Hon'ble Brahmachari Girish Ji said that today is a very auspicious day as Maa Skandmata is worshipped on day 5 of the 9-day festival. We worship the Goddess during Navratri not only for Shakti but also for her thousand qualities. Women have an important role in the family, it is said that if they are happy and content then the family will also run happily and smoothly. If there is peace in the family, then there will be peace in the neighborhood and the city. And in the same way, there will be peace in the country and the world family as well.

Brahmachari Girish Ji further said that for the purpose for which the Maharishi World Peace Movement was founded in 2008, much work remains to be done and it requires the collective effort and participation of all. Girish Ji urged all the members of Sahasrashirsh Devi Mandal to involve more and more people in this movement and tell them the importance of peace. But before that, you have to experience peace yourself. And for that Maharishi Ji has given a very simple technique of Transcendental Meditation. One can experience peace only by practicing Transcendental Meditation twice a day. It is very important to expand the role of SDM to fulfill the divine resolve of Maharishi Ji for world peace.

The Programme started with Guru Poojan, Shanti Path, and Aarti of nine forms of Goddess Durga. Everyone present also practiced group transcendental meditation. After that, the guests were welcomed by Director CPR-V R Khare. 

The Sahasrasheersha Devi Mandal (SDM) celebrated its foundation day with aplomb in the august presence of Guest of Honour, Smt. ON the occasion of 74th Independence Day, warm greetings and good wishes on behalf of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Sansthan to all the people of India… Unlike every year's Independence Day, this year's celebration is likely to be a little subdued due to the outbreak of COVID-19, yet, I sincerely hope that every Indian's heart is filled with joy and enthusiasm on India's biggest day. Today, Covid-19 has spread around the planet and still no suitable vaccine has been produced to control its spread. Our Indian ancient Vedic tradition has always been rich, and a solution to deal with this epidemic is also present here. The way to defeat this invisible epidemic is also invisible and it can only be possible by awakening our consciousness. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji was fond of this saying from the Yoga Sutras – 'Heyam dukham anagatam'. Avert the danger before it arises. On the occasion of Independence Day, we have to preserve the freedom and health of the citizens of this great nation and our proud country 'The Use of modern security techniques is also necessary, and they should be used, but actual security can also be done through Vedic techniques, which is based on principles and experiments of prevention, every person should use them to protect their country. It is not enough just to secure only physical boundaries, proper protection of every sphere of life is also important, only then India will be able to become completely safe and invincible. BHOPAL [Maha Media]: THE Second-day of the Maharishi National Cultural Celebration commenced with Guru Puja at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, MVM School Ratanpur, Bhopal. Principal MVM Ratanpur School- BS Guleria welcomed and honoured the judges of today’s events.

This year Maharishi National Cultural Celebration 2021 was special because for the first time Maharishi Organisation has conducted such a huge event on virtual mode which will be cherished for a long time by the audience, participants, and attendees. While students from 17 MVM schools participated in this massive virtual event, around 29 different programs for junior and senior students are being organised. Most of the events were organised virtually except Yogasan Competition, Painting Competition, Debate and Quiz Competition. 

The second day's Maharishi National Cultural Celebration began with a Yogasan competition, followed by a debate and quiz competition. The next event was Group Song Competition, which was judged by Ms. Varsha Deoskar-Director-Guru Kripa Sangeet Kendra, and Shailendra Sharma, a Renowned Musician. The brilliant presentation on various themes and costumes by the junior and senior students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) schools performed with great zeal and enthralled the audience. After that painting competition was organised, junior and senior school students showcased their talent and creativity through painting the plain canvas. The topic of the Painting Competition was the Culture of India. Another dimension was added to the Vocal Classical event by a mesmerizing performance by the students.

Yesterday, the first day's Maharishi National Cultural Celebration began with a melodious hymn followed by an invocation dance performance by the students of MVM schools. 1st-day cultural events were judged by Mrs. Shweta Devendra, Founder-Director Padmarang Nritya Academy, and Mrs. Ashwini Nandkumar, Renowned Bharatnatyam Dancer. Despite the event being conducted on an e-platform, cheerful students, encouraging parents and committed teachers made it a great event.

This achievement of vaccinating one billion people is not an easy task when even handling five members in a family is sometimes difficult.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: MVM Ratanpur honoured its daughter Jagriti Awasthi who secured 2nd rank in UPSC civil services exam 2020 and female topper nationally.

Jagriti has completed her school education at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Bhopal. After securing the 2nd rank in the prestigious exam, 24-years-old Jagriti came to the school to meet the principal and teachers and take their blessings.

When Jagriti entered the school premises on Wednesday morning, she was greeted by endless clapping by students and teachers. After the Guru Puja in the Meditation Hall, the program of her felicitation ceremony started with the welcome song.

Brahmachari Girish Ji said in his online address that this auspicious Guru Purnima is a day to take new resolutions and dedicate all the achievements of the whole year to the lotus feet of Shri Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj and Param Pujya Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji. Explaining in detail about the year-long activities of Maharishi Sansthan and the troubles faced during the Corona period, Girish Ji dedicated all achievements at the feet of the Guru and thanked him for enlightening all with knowledge.

Praising the glory of Maharishi Ji, Girish Ji said that Maharishi ji has gifted mankind a unique technique of Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs and Yogic Flying. Girish Ji said that people always complain that Vedas are very difficult to follow and their mind gets attracted towards useless things. 

The Vedic tradition brings them to a point—a point of infinity—and then the mind is not disturbed. 'Ek hi sadhe sab sadhe' which means do one thing, and everything happens by itself. Brahmachari Ji further said that due to this Covid-19 pandemic more than 45 lakh people died globally and about 4 lakh people died in India.  This is no small figure, in this pandemic we have also lost many people of our organisation whom we will always remember. Girish Ji reiterated his resolve that we have to gather 10000 Vedic Pandits at the center point of India - Brahmasthan. Presently around 3000 Vedic Pandits lived in Brahmasthan who regularly perform Yagya and meditation. But we still need 7000 person more who can go there to change the fate of the world from endless war to lasting peace.

Girish Ji praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts towards promoting Yoga and said it was due to the prime minister’s initiatives that yoga has got international recognition and June 21 is now celebrated as the International Day of Yoga.

Girish ji said that in general today Yoga is considered only as a physical exercise, but yoga is much more than this. Brahmachari ji said that the concept of celebrating International Yoga Day is good but today yoga has become a photo op, so we should try to do it seriously on all 365 days of the year.

It is very difficult to explain yoga in one point. What people know about yoga is not complete, it is only a small part of it. Maharishi Patanjali has created yoga by combining eight limbs. The eight limbs are described as Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayam, Pratyahar, Dharna, Dhyana and Samadhi. Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pratyahara are considered to be external aspects and Dharna, Dhhyan and Samadhi are internal aspects. In simple words, yoga is the means for the soul to reach the Supreme Soul, Girish Ji added.

Extending greetings on International Yoga Day at the end of his virtual address, Girish Ji said that the government should implement yoga in its full form in all areas of the society including education, only then all-round development of all would be possible.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: An online seminar on Transcendental Meditation (TM) was organised by Maharishi World Peace Movement and MVM Schools Group on May 22. World famous teacher of transcendental meditation and Maharishi Vedic Science Dr Lane Wagger of USA was the key speaker at the seminar. 

Dr Wagger, who is also director of Maharishi Corporate Development Programme,  threw light on various aspects of the transcendental meditation and it benefits in our life. Just as a strong foundation is necessary for a sturdy structure, so too, inner silence is the basis of successful activity.  By enlivening the root of the mind, the vacuum state of consciousness, all aspects of get nourished. And Maharishi ji had the jey for this --Transcendental Meditation (TM), a technique of effortless transcending. To understand what is TM is, we need only ti analyse all its name. "Transcend" means  "to go beyond" ; and " meditation " referes to " thinking ".  During Transcendental Meditation the mind goes from the surface hectic level of thinking to more quiet , less excuted state, until one transcends thought altogether, arriving at the silence oasis of the mind.

Dr Wagger also highlighted the Meissner effect---the expulsion of a magnatic filed from the interior of a material that is in the process of becoming a superconductor, that is , losing its residence to the flow of electrical current when cooled below a certain temperature, usually close to absolute zero.

Transcending is easy because the mind experiences increasing degree of happiness at every step of the way. No effort is required. Maharishi ji said, " life is here to be enjoyed and no one has rights to suffer. "  Therefore, practicing  TM is must for peaceful and happy life.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Maharishi World Peace Movement Committee on Tuesday organised a condolence meeting to pay respect to the departed soul of Ms. Shiva Rani Verma Ji-Director, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Institute's MITPL Director. Shiva Didi passed away on May 1. She was Covid positive. On this occasion, other members of the Maharishi family, who died during this Corona period, were also remembered and paid tribute. Shiva Rani Ji was known for her simple, humble and helpful nature.Shiva Didi Ji, sister of Brahmachari Girish ji, head of Maharishi Institute, was working as a director in MITIL till his last day.

Mahabharat and Ramayana are two of the most significant epics in the Hindu religion - while Ramayana is about the path chosen by Lord Rama during the human life cycle form on earth, Mahabharat is often described as "the longest poem ever written".

Mahabharat is huge and diverse and is a story set during the time of the Kurukshetra war, fought between cousins Pandavas and the Kauravas. It is so vast that it's often regarded as the 'Fifth Veda'. The Bhagawad Gita is a 700-verse Hindu scripture that is part of the epic Mahabharat. 

Bhagwad means 'God' and Gita means 'song' and thus in Hinduism, the Bhagavad Gita means the 'song of god'. The protagonists here are Arjun, the distraught and concerned Pandava prince and his mentor/friend and charioteer - Lord Krishna.

The Bhagawad Gita speaks of a lot of different aspects of life. Aspects, so acute that they can change the way people think perceive the challenges they face in life. Lord Krishna through his words in Gita can help us show us who we really are and can be as a person. Over everything, he made us differentiate between good and bad and how to have peace in life by overcoming our challenges.

Friendship

Arjun and Krishna were the incarnations of Narayana and Nara, technically making Arjuna part of Krishna. They share a very deep bond and while at war, Krishna leads Arjun out of his uncertainty of being in a war and towards the right path. 

Krishna quoted, “Whatever action is performed by a great man, common men follow in his footsteps, and whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues.”

The Gita teaches us about Karma and Dharma. Arjun was not ready to fight the war of Kurukshetra because that would shed the blood and tears of his own, but Krishna convinced Arjun to do the same made him realise that the Kauravas were on the wrong side and to maintain the balance of Karma and Dharma, this fight had to be fought.

Thus Krishna being a great friend and companion of Arjun, made him believe in himself and led him with courage and valour to stand victorious.

Karma
Lord Krishna said, “The meaning of Karma is in the intention. The intention behind the action is what matters. Those who are motivated only by desire for the fruits of action are miserable, for they are constantly anxious about the results of what they do.”

Karma can be simply described as the outcome for action but in an implicit manner. It can be both good and bad. But to closely understand Karma, Lord Krishna says that even if we are about to do something wrong, at the end of the day if the reason behind this is sacred or pure, then it is fair.

Krishna also quoted, ''No one who does good work will ever come to a bad end, either here or in the world to come.''

Which means that the balance of life should always be measured between right and wrong and one will always pay for his/her Karma. If someone has always followed the correct path of life and understood the real difference between good and bad, nothing bad shall ever happen to him/her.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group has hoisted Indian National Flag at Guru Dev Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram Bhopal with Vedic Acharyas and Scholars to mark the nation's 74th Independence Day.

On the occasion, Brahmachari Ji has reminded of great sacrifices of freedom fighters for centuries and inspired everyone to do everything to save the independence of India. — with Brahmachari Girish at Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram.

The Independence Day celebrations were also held at Maharishi University of Management and Technology, where all the staff members have gathered on the university campus for the flag-hoisting ceremony.

The celebration started with the unfurling of National Flag hoisting and was followed by the National Anthem. The Registrar Dr. Vijay Garudik has addressed the gathering and briefed about the importance of Independence and appealed how the University's goals can be achieved through collective efforts. 

The day ended with the distribution of sweets and vote of thanks.   

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: The second Upachaya Chandra Grahan of the year is all set to take place on the intervening night of June 5 and June 6. A Grahan is not considered auspicious according to the Hindu belief system. Therefore, people do not begin any new activity or venture on the day of Grahan. They also avoid stepping out of the house, and most importantly, adhere to the Sutak (fasting) timings hours before the Grahan begins.

Nonetheless, Upachaya Grahan does not have Sutak, because the Sun, the Earth and the Moon are not appropriately aligned. The entire Moon does not get darkened during the eclipse period. However, people can chant mantras to pray for general well-being and peace of mind.

This will also increase interest and efficiency in the work and you will have positively in your mind.

On this occasion, Mrs. Aryanand Kumar- Deputy Director of Maharishi Education Institute said that students in Maharishi Vidya Mandir are not only being imparted excellent education but also given great scruple and values. She asked the parents who gathered for the annual day celebrations to encourage others to get their children enrolled in Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools, so that their children also get the benefit of Indian culture, values and meditation.

In the concluding session of the program, the Principal of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Trilanga thanked the gathered guests, parents and all the students who performed excellently in today's annual cultural day celebrations. BHOPAL [Maha Media]: To create influence of peace in collective consciousness of India and the world, Maharishi World Peace Assembly is being organized from 31 December.

In order to enjoy the ‘Bliss’ in the life, to create atmosphere of peace within and in the society, Maharishi World Peace Assemblies are being organised at green and serene campus of Maharishi Centre for Education Excellence, Lambakheda, Bhopal–the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, the heart land of India.

The programs of Maharishi World Peace Assembly are divided into three duration. People can choose it as per their convenience. All Directors, Principals, Faculty members and teachers of all Maharishi Institutions, TM teachers, practitioners of TM & TM-Siddhi Programme and members of Maharishi Organisations participate in this Maharishi World Peace Assembly. 

Under the guidance of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group and President of Maharishi World Peace Movement, the first Maharishi World Peace Assembly of thirteen-day will be held from 31 December 2019 to 12 January 2020. The main attraction is Silence (maun) of a week, which starts from 31 December midnight and will continue till 7 January midnight. Shri Rudrabhishek will be performed by 11 Vedic pandits from 9.30 am to 12.30 am daily. Yogasan, Pranayama, TM, TM-Sidhi program and yogic flying will be practiced every morning and evening. Fees of this course is Rs 15,000 which includes room and board.

Second assembly of five days will be held from 8 to 12 January. There will also be a programme of Silence (maun) of a week. The course fee - Rs 8000 including room and boarding. Third assembly of three-day will be held from January 10 to 12, with a fee of Rs 5000. This year also two-day Gyan Yug Diwas will be celebrated in a grand manner on 11 and 12 January in all Maharishi institutions.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: On the occasion of 103rd Birth Anniversary of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, a two-day Maharishi Age of Enlightenment Day Celebration will be organised at Maharishi Utsav Bhawan, Gurudev Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram, Bhojpur Mandir Marg, Chhan, Bhopal. 

This grand celebration will be organised under the guidance of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of Maharishi Schools Group. On the first day of the Maharishi Age of Enlightenment Day Celebration, a conference will be held on the topic “Establishment of World Peace through Law and Justice", in which many eminent legal experts of the country will give their views. The chief guest of the day, Shri P.C. Sharma, Minister of Law and Public Relations, Government of Madhya Pradesh will inaugurate the session.

On the second day, Vedic pandits of our organisation will begin the celebration with Guru Parampara Pujan and Shanti Path. The highlight of the programme, Hon’ble Girish Ji will address the attendees.

In the second session, there will be a colorful performance by Mukti Sri, the famous Kathak artist from the Hyderabad-based Mukti Shri Group. Akshay Kulkarni (Tabla), Krushna Salunke (Pakhawaj), Devendra Deshpande (Harmonium), Praful Sonkamble (Vocal) along with other Kathak dancers like Aayushi Dixit, Rajat Pawar and Anvi Shri also promised to drench the audience with joy.

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: MAHARISHI Gyan Yug Mahotsava was inaugurated in the presence of Law and Legal Affairs, Public Relations Minister P C Sharma on the occasion of 103rd birth anniversary of Brahmaleen Maharishi Mahesh Yogi at Maharishi Utsav Bhawan, Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram, Chhan in the State capital on Saturday.

Several renowned law experts belonging to across the country participated in the seminar on ‘Role of Law and Justice in establishment of World Peace on first day of the mahotsav. 

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University Chancellor, Maharishi World Peace Movement and  Maharishi Vidya Mandir Group Chairman Brahmachari Girish presiding over the programme said that all the persons from whom we get knowledge are our ‘Guru’. 

Brahmachari Girish said that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in his entire life had only one target that availability of invincibility, happiness, prosperity and bliss should be for every person. 

He said that thousands of laws have been constituted in India and new laws are being formed by Lok Sabha and assemblies but whether these laws will be able to establish peace? Perhaps not but inclusion of world peace in education from primary to PhD is necessary. 

He said that world peace is possible through spiritual peace and for it there is need to awareness of each student since childhood.

Brahmachari Girish said that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has given scientific technique for it and that is Transcendental Meditation. So we should adopt this technique for awareness. 

Public Relations Minister P C Sharma expressing his views said that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi spread Transcendental Meditation globally. 

Senior Counsel of Supreme Court C S Vidyanathan also expressed his views on the occasion. 
 

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: On the occasion of 103rd birth anniversary of Brahmaleen Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, the second day of the ongoing “Gyan Yoga Mahotsava” was dedicated as a cultural celebration, in which the famous artists and students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir gave melodious presentation and fascinate the audience at Maharishi Utsav Bhawan, Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram, Chhan in the state capital on Sunday.

Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, said in his address that today is day to praise the glory of our guru His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji. In his life, Maharishi Ji fulfilled all his resolutions, it is our responsibility to fulfill whatever is left. Today is also the birthday of Swami Vivekananda, Girish Ji said that it was Maharishi Ji who truly fulfilled the promises and obligations of Vivekananda. 

While interacting with the students, Girish Ji said that during the time of Maharishi Ji's student life, school and communication facility was not freely available, even then he travelled to more than 124 countries with his determination and achieved great success in life. Girish Ji asked the students, how did Maharishi Ji develop the knowledge of social engineering and marketing skills even after not taking a degree from any university? And made such a big empire for us. Girish Ji advised the students to develop the habit of reading the newspaper and watch the good news.

Girish Ji explains “capture the fort” are the best concept to achieve everything. Consciousness is the field of all possibilities, from which we can do whatever we want. Create the ability in yourself, so that all the abilities come into you. Capture your consciousness and awaken it and then everything will be possible. Girish Ji further said that It is the responsibility of all that we fulfill the resolve of Maharishi Ji and continue to work for the establishment of peace in the world.

In Girish Ji’s request, a video of Maharishi Ji was played, which was like a gift and blessing for the gathered audience.  

Subsequently, Brahmachari Ji conferred the Maharishi Samman to Vijay Dwivedi, a scholar of Sanskrit and astrology by giving mementos for his remarkable services in the Maharishi organisation.

In the second session of Cultural Celebration, Mukti Sri, the famous Kathak artist from the Hyderabad-based Mukti Shri Group gave colorful performance and won the hearts of the audience. Other dancers of Mukti Sri Group including Aayushi Dixit, Rajat Pawar and Anvi Shri also mesmerised the audience with bliss. The Mukti Group showcased different aspects of Kathak Dance, which was made special by the Akshay Kulkarni (Tabla), Krushna Salunke (Pakhawaj), Devendra Deshpande (Harmonium), Praful Sonkamble (Vocal) with the live accompaniment.
