2-day MKH- Maharishi National Cultural Celebration concludes with gaiety

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The two-day Maharishi Kids Home-Maharishi National Cultural Celebration concluded with full fervor and dignity at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, MVM School Ratanpur with the gracious presence of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon'ble Chairman, Maharishi Kids Home Group.

Brahmachari Girish Ji, the chief guest of the function started his speech by congratulating all especially the parents for their efforts and support. Brahmachari Girish Ji said that it is a matter of great pleasure that such a large number of children participated in this cultural program today. And he felt happy to see the wonderful performance of the children in such a short span of time. Maharishi Ji often used to say that there is no happiness in small, we get more happiness by doing big things. Presently our number of participants is in three digits and with the collective efforts of all of us, we have to reach this number to 10 digits.

Brahmachari Girish Ji further said that “Nowadays there is a lack of values in the collective consciousness, so we have to give the Sanskar of Swara, Taal, and Laya along with Transcendental Meditation and Yoga to the young children. The role of both teachers and parents is important in this. After mastering these things, children will continue to be successful in every sphere of life. Brahmachari Girish Ji congratulated all the students who participated in this cultural celebration including the victorious children and wished them success.

Earlier, 2-day programme started with Shree Guru Parampara Poojan and Shanti Path by Vedic Pandits. After that the venue Principal BS Guleria welcomed all the distinguished guests by giving a sapling. The events of this national cultural festival were divided into three groups- Kilkari, Phulwari and Natkhat. Around 600 students from six Maharishi Kids Homes across the country participated in seven different programmes. Maharishi Kids Home Tirunamalai was declared the winner with most of the awards, followed by Maharishi Kids Home - Kalapahar and Maharishi Kids Home - Guwahati at the second and third positions respectively.

Sunil Okhade, Joint Director Maharishi Kids Home Group in his welcome speech expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Guest, Brahmachari Girish Ji for gracing the occasion in spite of his busy schedule. He thanked the Principal and teachers of Maharishi Kids Home for organising this 2-day event so well.

Addressing the audience, Director Communication and Public Relations- V. R. Khare said that in these two days it felt like we are living in heaven, we are all overwhelmed by the wonderful performance of the students of Maharishi Kids Home. Maharishi Ji and Brahmachari Girish ji often say that what you see you become, we too became children after seeing the beautiful performance of little ones. Khare ji informed that at present there are six Maharishi Kids Homes and this is the second Maharishi National Cultural Festival which is being celebrated here today. He also thanked Brahmachari Girish Ji, teachers, parents and students for its successful organisation.

Smt. Arya Nandkumar-National Secretary Communication, and Smt. Rita Prakasham-Educationist, Anjali Singh, Principal - Maharishi Kids Home Ayodhya Nagar, teachers, parents, and students were also present on the occasion.
