Brahmachari Girish Ji Highlights India’s Global Identity at MVM Fatehpur Annual Day
FATEHPUR (Maha Media): The "Gyan Yug Diwas" (Annual Day) was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Fatehpur, under the divine guidance of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group and head of the World Peace Movement. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and the Guru Pujan, performed by Brahmachari Girish Ji according to Vedic rituals.
In his keynote address, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji emphasized India’s growing global identity, asserting that the nation has held the status of "Vishwaguru" (World Teacher) since ancient times due to its profound knowledge traditions. He clarified that Indian culture is not confined to any specific religion or sect but is fundamentally rooted in the eternal laws of nature.
Dr. Girish Ji further highlighted Transcendental Meditation, as introduced by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, calling it a supreme gift to humanity. He urged students to become "Global Leaders" and encouraged them to join the Maharishi institutions in spreading the light of Vedic wisdom to every corner of the world.
The ceremony also included the felicitation of several distinguished guests, such as State Minister Pratibha Shukla, former Union Minister Niranjan Jyoti, MLA Vikas Gupta, Anoo Srivastava, and Abhay Pratap Singh. Minister Pratibha Shukla, addressing the gathering, advised students to respect their parents and teachers, reminding them that humanity is the greatest religion.
