SC defers NEET PG 2023 postponement plea
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Supreme Court heard NEET PG 2023 postponement plea on Friday, February 24. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the court posted the matter for Monday, February 27. After the union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya said in Parliament that the exam will be on March 5, 2023, and it will not be delayed any further, the agitating doctors took the legal route and filed petitions in Supreme Court and Telangana high court.
Reportedly, two writ petitions are filed in the Supreme Court to demand the postponement of NEET PG 2023. All India Students Dental Association (AISDA) /DENTODONTICS tweet reads, "Two Writ Petitions has been filed in #SupremeCourtOfIndia regarding #PostponeNEETPG2023 by #NEETPG2023 aspirants. The hearing will be heard for all the two petitions tomorrow. Thousands of aspirants eyeing for Justice in highest Court Of Law."
Meanwhile, Telangana high court has given two weeks to the Centre to reconsider the NEET PG 2023 exam date, one week is already passed and till now there is no response from the Centre or National Medical Commission. Now all eyes are on the Supreme Court hearing today.
