MPBSE sets target to declare final examination result by April end

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) counselling helpline is receiving higher calls from students seeking the result. This year, Board had concluded examination on March 2. Copy evaluation had started from second week of March. 

The Board has targeted to release the final result of both the examinations by April end. The Board has already sent notification to the district collectors and district education officers in this regard. There are around 22,000 teachers across the State including 1,800 in Bhopal to evaluate the copies. The Board has said that teachers involved in examining copies should have five years of experience. 

District Education Officer (DEO) Bhopal Anjani Kumar Tripathi said, “Copy checking is almost done. He said MPBSE has sent guidelines for copy checking and this includes names of senior teachers on top. He said teachers having at least five years of experience in teaching have been roped in to check the copies. This year, the Board has introduced bar code system and answer sheets. Besides examinees were distributed  with OMR sheet and there was no supplementary copies for any subject. 

Evaluators are checking OMR sheet with bar code security for the first time. This significant changes introduced by the board in order to enhance the security provision and bring transparency. Identify of candidates is hidden by putting barcode on the answer sheet of Mathematics, science and social science in class X and Hindi subject in class XII.
