ISRO, IIG inks pact for Scientific Collaboration and space exploration
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has signed an MoU with the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG) for scientific collaboration in the domain of space science, technology and exploration. The event took place in ISRO Headquarters, Bengaluru, and was presided by Dr. Somanath S., Chairman, ISRO/Secretary, Department of Space (DOS). The pact was signed by Shantanu Bhatawdekar, Scientific Secretary, ISRO and Prof. A.P. Dimri, Director, IIG. This collaboration will facilitate formulation of joint programme in the scientific understanding of the Sun-Earth connection, as well as exploration of space, ISRO said in an upate.
