Bhajanamrit’ soulful feast enthralls audience on 2nd Day of Gyan Yug Diwas

BHOPAL (Maha Media): The two-day "Gyan Yug Diwas" celebrations reached a spiritual crescendo on Tuesday, marking the second day of festivities with a profound blend of tradition, culture, and melody. Held under the divine blessings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji and the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Chairman Brahmachari Girish Ji, the event transformed the Maharishi Utsav Bhavan into a sanctuary of devotion and artistic excellence.

The morning session opened with a stirring musical tribute by Nandini Kasaudhan, an alumni of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Before the performance, Aryanand Kumar, Joint Director of the Maharishi World Peace Movement, formally welcomed Nandini and her team with flower and Maharishi Organisation’s commemorative stole.

           The group set a high emotional tone for the day with their opening rendition of the beloved bhajan, He Dukh Bhanjan Maruti Nandan, which drew thunderous applause from the gathered audience. This was followed by a seamless medley of spiritual classics. The performance was so captivating that it left the audience mesmerized, bridging the gap between artistic skill and deep spiritual yearning.

 

Transitioning from vocal tributes to rhythmic expression, the next segment of the program highlighted the diverse talents nurtured within Maharishi institutions. Students from various Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools located in Bhopal, took the stage to present a series of devotional dances and musical pieces. Notable among these was a graceful dance performance by the students of MKH Ayodhya Nagar, who dedicated their choreography to Lord Ganesh, followed with performance by students of MVM Ratanpur, MVM Trilanga, MCEE. Their synchronized movements and vibrant costumes added a layer of visual splendor to the day’s spiritual theme.

 

The highlight of the afternoon was the "Bhajanamrit" session, featured the renowned singer Pandit Jitendra Singh, whose powerful vocals were complemented by the intricate rhythms of acclaimed tabla maestro Pandit Anoop Ghosh and his group. 

 

    Hon’ble Chairman MVM Schools Group Brahmachari Girish Ji applauded the collaborative performance of all and said that “ the performance of all including the students today transcended mere entertainment and guided the audience into a state of deep meditative consciousness. Today the rhythmic beats and melodic scales filled the whole environment with spirituality, effectively concluding the Gyan Yug Diwas celebrations on a note of peace and transcendental joy. This is really a great tribute to His Holiness Maharishi Ji who always regarded music based on spiritual theme as means to purify our consciousness. “
