Yoga and Transcendental Meditation are Keys to Holistic Development: Brahmachari Girish Ji
BHOPAL (Maha Media): On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Organisation celebrated the day with great enthusiasm. Numerous students from the Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools, run by the organisation, participated in the practice of Yoga and Transcendental Meditation. Speaking on the occasion, Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, stated that the continuous practice of Yoga and meditation is essential for the development of both the individual and society. He noted that this practice fosters a harmonious coordination between the mind, intellect, and body, allowing the body, mind, and soul to receive holistic benefits.
Recalling various facets of the life of the global saint, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, Brahmachari Ji explained that Brahmavidya is a method of Sadhana and a science that awakens knowledge, which is why everything can be attained through the practice of Transcendental Meditation. Brahmachari Girish Ji urged everyone to practice Ashtanga Yoga daily and to work continuously for the propagation of Brahmavidya in every society and location.
Brahmachari Ji further noted that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji had laid the foundation for Yoga and Transcendental Meditation many years ago and shared this process with the entire world. As a result, Prime Minister Narendra Modi successfully secured international recognition for it at the United Nations in 2015, for which the entire nation expresses its gratitude.
