Consciousness-Based Education is the Future of Learning: Brahmachari Girish Ji
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: A Maharshi Consciousness-Based Training Program and an introductory session for Maharshi Institutions commenced for school principals at the Maharshi Center for Educational Excellence in Lambakheda, Bhopal. During the inauguration of the training program for newly appointed principals, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of the Maharshi Vidya Mandir School Group, highlighted that by participating in the Guru Parampara Pujan and connecting with Maharshi Ji, their path becomes distinct from others. He encouraged everyone to embrace a spirit of service, philanthropy, and belonging to the Maharshi family.
Brahmachari Girish Ji emphasized the need to recognize the differences between Maharshi Vidya Mandir schools and other educational institutions. In response, the principals collectively noted that Maharshi Vidya Mandir schools offer a blend of Vedic education alongside modern education, making them truly unique. He explained that consciousness is immensely and infinitely expansive, which is why students receive consciousness-based education. Brahmachari Ji reminded attendees that they are not merely becoming principals to teach children; rather, they are heads of a Maharshi Peeth and must fulfill their responsibilities toward the upliftment of the community and society as carriers of knowledge.
On this occasion, Brahmachari Ji shared his years of experience with the principals and teachers, providing examples of appropriate practices. He referenced Maharshi Ji’s belief that whenever there is an opportunity in the community—even if only for a minute—one should discuss the expansion of knowledge. Thus, constant focus on discussing and promoting Vedic knowledge is essential. He stressed that Maharshi Ji’s guidelines should always be followed in Maharshi Vidya Mandir schools, and that the regular practice of Transcendental Meditation and Siddhi in the mornings and evenings must be maintained. Brahmachari Ji also shared important information, highlighting that many priests in temples across Bhopal, India, and worldwide are scholars from the Maharshi Ved Vigyan Vidyapeeth, which is a significant source of pride for the Maharshi Institution.
Earlier, the Maharshi Consciousness-Based Training Program began with the traditional Guru Parampara Pujan and will continue until May 15. More than 22 newly appointed principals are participating in this seven-day training program. Present during the session were Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, former Vice-Chancellor of Maharshi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, along with directors of the Maharshi Vidya Mandir School Group.
