Maharishi Sansthan hosts grand mass Upanayan Ceremony on Akshaya Tritiya
BHOPAL (Maha Media]: The sacred thread (Yagyopaveet) ceremony was held at Maharishi Organisation on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. A mass sacred thread ceremony was held at Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Organisation, Bhopal, on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and the foundation day of the Sahasra Shirsha Purusha Mandal. Inaugurating the Yagyopaveet ceremony, Brahmachari Girish Ji, Chairman of Maharishi Group of Educational Institutions said, "First of all, best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and Lord Parshuram Jayanti because Maharishi Parshuram Ji, born in today's auspicious moment, has become immortal. Along with this, all those who have taken initiation on this day become universally accepted and omnipresent. Therefore, today we should all take this eternal divine resolution for our lives and for the entire world family.
Brahmachari Girish Ji said, "We all should take a pledge together that the resolutions of all Sages, Saints, Rishis, Maharishis, Brahmarishis and Rajrishis should be fulfilled because the spirit of universal welfare is inherent in it."
Brahmachari Girish Ji said that "Through the Upanayana ceremony, students get the power to fulfil their resolutions by being situated in the Transcendental Consciousness, along with education and initiation in life. We should regularly practice Transcendental Meditation so that the consciousness of all of us becomes fully awakened, we become all-powerful, knowledgeable, energetic and bright."
On this occasion of the foundation day of "Sahasra Shirsha Purusha Mandal", the male unit of Maharishi Vishwa Shanti Andolan, Brahmachari Ji said that Sahasra Shirsha means the thousand heads of Lord Vishnu, therefore by taking a resolution while being situated in Transcendental Consciousness, its accomplishment will increase a thousand fold, which is the virtuous power of today's Akshaya Tritiya."
Afterward, 21 Vedic Acharyas performed the sacred thread ceremony for all the boys present, chanting mantras in accordance with Vedic rites. A large number of parents and family members of the boys receiving the sacred thread were also present on this occasion.
Present on the stage were Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, former Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, Vijay Ratan Khare, Director of Communications and Public Relations of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Group of Schools, V. P. Tiwari, Director of Accounts, Manish Sinha, Additional Director of Finance, Yatish Saxena, Additional Director of Personnel and Administration, Akhilesh Srivastava, Additional Director of Construction, and Manish Mandlik, Director of Computer Science.
This mass Yagyopaveet Sanskar was organised jointly by Maharishi Spiritual Citizens Awakening Campaign and Maharishi Ved Vigyan Vishwa Vidyapeetham at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan of Maharishi Vidya Mandir School, Ratanpur campus.
