3rd Day of Sahasrachandi Mahayagya at Maharishi Sansthan Continues
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Chaitra Navratri celebrations are in full swing at the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Sansthan this Saturday. The third day is for worshiping Maa Chandraghanta, a strong form of Goddess Parvati. The Sri Sahasrachandi Mahayagya and the recitation of Sri Durga Saptashati are ongoing at Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram on Bhojpur Road in Chan, Bhopal.
Under the leadership of Brahmachari Girish Ji, the Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, 121 Vedic scholars have gathered to honor Maa Chandraghanta. They are performing Vedic chants, followed by Sahasrachandi Mahayagya and Arti. Many officials, staff members of the Maharishi Sansthan, and devotees joined the rituals to seek blessings.
The festival will end with Ram Navami, celebrating the birth of Lord Ram. The celebration will also include Kanya Bhoj, where young girls, honored as embodiments of the divine feminine, are offered food.
