Three-day MNCC concludes on a grand note
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The grandeur of the Maharishi National Cultural Celebration (MNCC) was concluded on Monday with a three-day colorful programme organised at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, Maharishi Vidhya Mandir, Ratanpur, Hoshangabad road, Bhopal.
The three-day Maharishi National Cultural Celebration was inaugurated under the chairmanship of Brahmachari Girish Ji on Saturday. In this annual cultural Kumbh, about 466 participants from 15 different states participated in various events including singing, dancing, painting, yogic flying, yoga, Ramayana recitation competition, math and science exhibition, debate competition, and Sanskrit Shloka chanting.
The valedictory function of the Maharishi National Cultural Celebration started with Guru Parampara Poojan, Vedic Shanti Path followed by a traditional welcome of the extinguished guest. This was followed by group songs in Bengali, Chhattisgarhi and Tamil languages by the students. Sushri Usha Thakur Ji, Hon'ble Minister for Tourism, Culture & Adhyatm was the chief guest for today's program, but due to some urgent work, she could not attend the program. Sushri Usha Thakur Ji in her video message expressed regret for not attending the program and congratulated all the participants from her department.
Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor- MMYVV, P.C Joshi, Vice President-MSS, TPS Kandra, Vice Chancellor-MUMT Bilaspur, V.M Jain, Director Finance- MVM Schools Group, C.D Sharma, Director Education, V R Khare-Director CPR, V.P Tiwari, Director Accounts, B.S Guleria, Principal-MVM Ratanpur were present on the dais.
Addressing the audience, Brahmachari Girish Ji congratulated both the winners and the losers of this three day event and said that the performance level of the cultural leaders is continuously improving every year. On the suggestion of VR Khare Ji, Brahmachari Girish Ji promised that soon we will organize a national celebration in the special presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji. Addressing the participants, Girish said that this event is just a practice session to prepare you to compete with thousands of cultures from across the world. This will prove that you are on top of the world and your flag is hoisting above the earth.
Hon'ble Girish Ji said that Maharishi Ji has given us two formulas for a successful life, the first one is “Do less and accomplish more” and the second one is “Do nothing and accomplish everything. Girish Ji ordered all the people present to strictly follow these formulas to reach the top of the universe.
On this occasion, the results and prize distribution of various competitions were also presented by Brahmachari Girish Ji and members of the National Board of Directors MVM Schools Group. MVM Hyderabad secured the first position in Senior Secondary School with a cash prize of Rs 751000. MVM Thanjavur secured the first position in Secondary School with a cash prize of Rs 551000. The participants of MVM Guwahati secured the top position by winning a total of 17 medals in various events, while Prayagraj secured the second position by winning 9 medals! Apart from this, students from other MVM schools including Hyderabad, Naini, Chennai, Jabalpur, Bhandara, Haldwani and Bhopal also won several awards proving their excellence.
In his concluding speech, the venue principal MVM Ratanpur B.S. Guleria complimented the participants for their mesmerising performances and credited Brahmachari Girish Ji for the successful organisation of this three-day cultural program and expressed confidence that this celebration would be celebrated in a grand manner in the future.
