Shri Shiv Mahapuran Kathamrit Pravah commences at Maharishi Ashram

PRAYAGRAJ [Maha Media]: On the occasion of the Maha Kumbh-2025, Maharishi Vedic Pandits performed 1,331 Paaths and Havans of Rudrashtadhyayi at Teerth Raj Prayagraj on Wednesday. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Ved Vidya Martand, Brahmachari Girish Ji, an esteemed ascetic disciple of the renowned Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. This ceremonial gathering aimed to promote the welfare of the entire world and was held at the Maharishi Ashram located on the banks of the Sangam in Arail, Prayagraj.

During the event, Brahmachari Girish Ji delivered a profound message, stating that the primary goal of the 1,331 Paaths and Havans performed today was to enhance coherence in brain waves to streamline the lives of every citizen of India. He noted that this can be easily achieved through the regular practice of Transcendental Meditation, as taught by the highly revered Maharishi Ji.

In conjunction with this event, the Shri Shiv Mahapuran Kathamrit Pravah commenced at the Maharishi Ashram, adding to the spiritual atmosphere. The renowned Katha Vyas, Acharya Ramvilas Chaturvedi Ji Maharaj, initiated the storytelling session with the Rudripath, followed by the chanting of Vedic mantras. The Shri Shiv Mahapuran Kathamrit Pravah will continue until January 28. Acharya Ramvilas Chaturvedi Ji Maharaj is the president of the Sanatan Sanskar Seva Sansthan and the spokesperson for the Akhil Bharatvarsiya Brahmin Mahasabha in Vrindavan, Mathura.

Acharya Shri Ramvilas Chaturvedi, beautifully revealed the spiritual secrets from our ancient history explaining well about the lord of the three realms- Lord Shiva. He mentioned the eternal technique of -Divine Knowledge (Brahm Gyan). A true spiritual master of times activates the third eye of the human and makes him see Godwithin his soul. It is imperative to realize that Brahm Gyan can only be bestowed by the Perfect Master. Lord Shiva himself has praised the true spiritual master who is a combined form of Lord Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. Like these ultimate divinities, the Guru also creates and sustains knowledge in disciples, he takes care, preserves resources, and destroys their ignorance.

Acharya Ramvilas Chaturvedi Ji Maharaj describes Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji as a revered figure in today’s world, comparable to the Brahmarishi who existed during the Treta, Dwapar, and Satya Yugas. In the current Kali Yuga, Maharishi Ji has earned this esteemed title. He is noted for guiding young Brahmin boys on the path of spirituality and strengthening their resolve.

Katha orator said that the achievements of Maharishi Ji are remarkable; they surpassed what many great kings and emperors could accomplish. He was not an ordinary person, but truly extraordinary. According to Acharya Ji, Maharishi Ji's biography should be taught in every nation and university as it can educate the world and provide a meaningful path forward. Reading about Maharishi Ji’s life can transform one's own life and inspire action for the benefit of the world. The stories of his teachings serve as beautiful illustrations of how to change lives. Just as Shri Ram was guided by Maharishi Vasishta and Valmiki, and Shri Krishna by Sandipani, Maharishi Ji imparted the Vedas to countless children, many of whom now perform Puja and Paath in the grand temples across the country, which is a matter of great pride. Maharishi Ji can also be seen as an equivalent of Vasishta, Kapil Muni, or Vishwamitra.

In the evening, selected students from Maharishi Vidya Mandir School in Kanpur presented bhajans about Shiv-Parvati and Shri Krishna-Radha. They also performed a dance-drama about the heroic story of Maharani Lakshmi Bai. The performances brought joy to the large crowd, celebrating the spirit of devotion and culture during the Kumbh Mela festivities. Program started with Guru Pooja in the presence of directors, principal, teachers and the students.

All the events and programmes are being broadcast live on Ramraj TV. The live telecast is also available on Ramraj TV's YouTube and Facebook channels.
