Katha Amrit Pravah commences at Maharishi Ashram in Prayagraj

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Maha Kumbh has emerged as a global epicenter of faith and a symbol of world unity. Over 50 million devotees have taken a holy dip at Triveni Sangam on the first two days of what is considered to be the biggest gathering of human beings on the planet. 

During the 45-day Prayagraj Mahakumbh, Maharishi Sansthan organised a grand event at its serene Maharishi Ashram, beautifully situated along the banks of the sacred Sangam, to welcome devotees and pilgrims. On Wednesday, the Ati Rudrabhishek Yagna was held, accompanied by a sacred Havan and Aarti, taking place from 9 AM to 1 PM. Following this, the revered and globally acclaimed Acharya Shri Badrish Ji Maharaj commenced a grand Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Katha Amrit Pravah. The program began with a heartfelt Guru Pujan and the Pooja-Archana of the 'Vyas Gaddi.' The Katha Amrit Pravah will continue daily until January 21, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

The previous day, on Tuesday, the serene ambiance of Maharishi Ashram resonated with the melodious tunes of the Bhajan Sandhya program. Esteemed artists Ms. Vini Gupta from Bhopal and Mrs. Anuradha Agastya from Delhi graced the stage, capturing the hearts of the audience with their soulful performances. Throughout the month-long Kumbh festival, cultural programs like this will take place from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. 

In Maharishi Ashram, the events of Maharishi Organisation began on January 12th, coinciding with the celebration of Maharishi Ji's 108th birth anniversary, a day revered as 'Gyan Yug Diwas,' or the ‘Age of Enlightenment Day’. Many saints , Mahatmas, Vedic scholars, educationists, public representatives, including Anant Shri Vibhushit Jyotishpeethadheeshwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, who graced the occasion with their presence. Their collective wisdom and aura created an atmosphere of profound spirituality and reverence. A seminar was also organised with the theme "Establishment of World Peace through Indian Vedic Culture and Traditions."

In his inspiring keynote address, Brahmachari Girish Ji, the head of Maharishi Sansthan and Ved Vidya Martand, extended a heartfelt invitation to all individuals around the globe to join them at Maharishi Ashram during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. Girish Ji emphasized the importance of learning Maharishi Ji's technique of Transcendental Meditation, which promotes inner peace and well-being. The Maharishi Sansthan has planned a variety of enlightening programs, rituals, and spiritual discourses throughout the Mahakumbh to further enrich the experience for all attendees.
