Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj to grace ‘Age of Enlightenment Day’ celebration in Prayagraj
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: With the divine Patronage of Anant Shri Vibhushit Jyotishpeethadheeshwar Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj and able guidance of Ved Vidya Martand, Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, Brahmachari Girish Ji, the 108th birthday of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji will be celebrated as ‘Age of Enlightenment Day’ (Gyan Yug Diwas) on January 12, 2025 across the globe.
The celebrations will be held nationwide at all Maharishi Institutes and organizational offices. Traditionally, the grand celebration of Maharishi Ji’s birth anniversary has been held in Bhopal, but considering the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh commencing from January 13, it has been decided to celebrate Gyan Yug Diwas with grandeur and reverence at the Maharishi Ashram located at the Sangam Ghat.
The grand celebration of the ‘Age of Enlightenment Day’ will be graced by the divine presence of Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj of Badrikashram, Himalayas. A seminar on the theme of the Establishment of World Peace through Indian Vedic Culture and Traditions will be organised on this occasion. The main programme will commence at 10:30 AM on Sunday at the Maharishi Ashram. The program will include Shri Vedic Guru Parmpara and Shankaracharya Paduka Pujan, Lighting of the lamp by honoured guests, Vedic Shanti Path by Maharishi Vedic Pandits, honoring Vedic scholars, the keynote address by Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, a documentary showcasing Maharishi Ji's 50 years of uninterrupted work and global achievements, and divine blessings by Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj.
The second session will feature speeches by Vedic scholars, saints, and experts on the seminar theme of the Establishment of World Peace through Indian Vedic Culture and Traditions.
In the third session, Miss Vini Gupta from Bhopal and Mrs. Anuradha Agastya from Delhi will present devotional songs.
Gyan Yug Diwas celebration will be broadcast live on Ramraj TV. The live stream will also be available on Ramraj TV’s YouTube and Facebook channels.
