Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan signs MoU with Vikram University
UJJAIN [Maha Media: On Monday, Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vikram University Ujjain. As a result, the "Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Gyanpeeth" will now be established at Vikram University.
Addressing this occasion, Brahmachari Girish Ji, the Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (MMYVV), expressed that "His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji introduced the eternal Indian Vedic knowledge tradition to the entire world. He gave a simple and easy method of Transcendental Meditation, by which practicing for 20 minutes twice a day anyone can achieve peace of mind. Only a person with a peaceful mind can achieve complete success in all tasks and lead an enlightened life. Now, the professors and students of Vikram University will improve the lives of the people of the country and abroad with the light of Maharishi's knowledge. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Gyanpeeth will remain active and successfully fulfill this mission."
Professor Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, the Vice Chancellor of Vikram University, stated, "The Vedic education that we wish to promote through study and teaching is already being provided by Maharishi Sansthan. Nowadays, it is very important to remove the stress prevailing in our daily lives, and through Vedic education, we can easily remove this stress. The establishment of 'Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Gyanpeeth' in the university will help spread knowledge of Vedic subjects, making the world a better place. We will work together through Gyanpeeth to spread Vedic knowledge, and research work at the university will be a major focus of this initiative." Professor B.K. Anjana, the Head of the Department of Sanskrit, Vedas, and Astrology at Vikram University, has been appointed as the Director of "Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Gyanpeeth".
The MoU was signed by Vikram University Registrar Anil Sharma and Director CPR V.R. Khare on behalf of Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan. The event was attended by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya Pramod Kumar Verma and Deputy Director Ramdev Dubey of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University, as well as Director of Maha Herbal Dheeraj Dwivedi. Registrar Anil Sharma from Vikram University, former Vice Chancellor Sharma, and other professors were also present.
