
Sundarkand recitation held in Bhopal for world peace
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: A grand collective recitation of the Sundarkand was organized in Bhopal under the auspices of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Sansthan's Maharishi Spiritual Public Awareness Campaign. The event took place at the Shri Manshapurn Hanuman Temple in Shivaji Nagar. Hundreds of devotees joined and felt great joy and spiritual fulfillment.
The temple's Bhajan Mandali created a warm and devotional atmosphere. The musical event was memorable, with the sounds of drums, cymbals, harmonium, and other instruments.
Senior social worker and spiritual leader Shri Asharam Tripathi Ji was a key speaker at the event. His team included Shri Satish Vyas, Brajesh Goswami, Mahesh Joshi, Umashankar, Shivam, Hemant Negi, Amit Srivastava, Kamal Prajapati, Sumit Dubey, Smt. Rekha Pandey, Smt. Sangeeta Parihar, Smt. Namrata, Smt. Renu Saxena, Smt. Nalini Saxena, and Smt. Rani Singh. They impressed the audience with their beautiful singing of the chaupais.
In his speech, Guru Asharam Tripathi Ji praised the Maharishi Spiritual Public Awareness Campaign. He noted that this was the first time an organization had recited the Sundarkand for spiritual awakening. He stressed that spiritual awakening is really important. He said many people seem awake but are not spiritually aware. The campaign aims to awaken this group of people. Guru Ji pointed out that 95% of individuals are still spiritually dormant and need to wake up. He explained that many desires affect our inner soul, which needs cleansing and renewal. He concluded that purifying the soul is the true form of spiritual awakening.
Rohit Pathak, from the campaign, shared details about its goals. He explained that the campaign aims to teach the proper way to pronounce Hindu worship methods and highlight the benefits of Transcendental Meditation, as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji. He encouraged everyone to practice Transcendental Meditation to find joy and happiness since many people today are not truly happy. He added that success in one’s efforts can come from properly pronouncing Indian worship methods.
