Make yoga part of daily routine: Brahmachari Girish Ji

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: In the able guidance of Hon’ble Chairman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, Brahmachari Girish Ji and under the banner of Maharishi World Peace Movement, the 9th edition of ‘International Yoga Day’ celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at Maharishi Mangalam Bhawan, Maharishi Vidya Mandir School, Ratanpur on Wednesday.

The program started with Guru Poojan following welcome song and Yoga song by the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Ratanpur. After this, all the present students performed Surya Namaskar, different asanas of Yoga and transcendental meditation in unison.  All members of the Maharishi family including Directors, teachers, staff and students were also present and performed different asanas of Yoga according to the instructions for nearly an hour on this occasion.

In a video message on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, Hon’ble Brahmachari Girish Ji said that today the whole world has become ‘Yogmay’ but Yoga is not a one-day event it should be done every day. Along with yoga, if we include the practice of Transcendental Meditation daily in the morning and evening, then its benefits will be doubled. Maharishi Organisation is working to implement many divine resolutions of Maharishi Ji so that every member if world family enjoys the results, freedom from stress, anxiety, fatigue and fear, positivity, peaceful life and totality in life –holistic life-Heavenly life on earth. 

Brahmachari Girish Ji urged everyone to make yoga a part of their daily routine for good health and divine. The first two steps, Yama and Niyama is one of the most useful parts of the practice of yoga. If you imbibe Yama and Niyama in your life and practice transcendental meditation twice a day then establishment of Ram Rajya on the earth is possible. Heaven on the earth is the real concept of Ram Rajya. This is necessary for happiness and joy in the whole world.

Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University said that Transcendental Meditation is one of the simplest forms of Yoga. One should do transcendental meditation regularly for enlightenment and purity of mind. Transcendental Meditation is a great gift that His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji has given us, it is our responsibility to practice it every day to create peace and harmony in the world.

Along with the capital city Bhopal, the International 'Yoga-Day' also celebrated in all the branches of Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools, Universities, centers, and offices operating in different states of the country with the practice of Yoga and Transcendental Meditation. “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” is the theme for this year's International Yoga Day 2023, which beautifully captures our shared aspiration for “One Earth, One Family, and One Future.”

Due to the foundation lad by His Hoiliness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, the United Nations accepted the proposal of our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi to declare 21 June as the International Day of Yoga. This year, Prime Minister Modi will lead the global celebration of yoga from the United Nations headquarters in New York.
