Do all your work while being in yoga: Brahmachari Girish Ji
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Brahmachari Girish Ji, the Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, the three-day Maharishi National Cultural Celebration was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Maharishi Centre for Excellence in Lambakhada, Bhopal.
Addressing the gathering, Hon’ble Brahmachari Girish Ji described the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir school as seekers. He explained that our students are different from those in other schools. While other students are just students, our students develop a pure awareness through the regular practice of Transcendental Meditation. This practice enhances their knowledge and expands their capacity for learning and understanding. The benefits of this growth extend to many areas of their lives and ultimately contribute positively to society.
Brahmachari Girish Ji highlighted the numerous benefits of the Transcendental Meditation technique. He explained how TM practice can improves memory, learning ability, creativity, focus, and productivity. He elaborated on the philosophy of the Institute, saying, "Here, we prioritize nurturing the roots of your development rather than merely focusing on the superficial aspects. Our primary responsibility is to cultivate each of you into valuable global citizens who possess awakened consciousness and a strong sense of purpose. We aim to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to rise above regional and national limitations. Our vision is to transform you into leaders who can navigate and positively impact the global landscape."
Brahmachari Girish Ji said that if you do all your work while being in yoga, all your work will be completed. Here today we do not have to win any war or competition but we have to become a winner by working while staying in yoga. During this occasion, Brahmachari Girish Ji also released two books published by the Maharishi Institute: "Maharishi Veda Vigyan" and "Ojasvi." He encouraged everyone to study these books regularly.
The Programme started with Guru Poojan, Shanti Path followed by a traditional welcome of the extinguished guest. This was followed by a presentation of Ganesh Vandana by the students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir. Among the distinguished guests Pramod Verma, Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University Professor, Dr. Prakash Chandra Joshi, Executive Director of Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group, V.R Khare, Director Communication and Public Relations and other directors were present on the stage along with Brahmachari Girish Ji.
In the next session, students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools displayed their talent in various genres and enthralled the audience. Around 426 students of 61 Maharishi Vidya Mandir schools across India will participate in both solo and group categories, with 24 different types of competitions in this Cultural Kumbh. The event will continue on October 24 and 25 as well.
On the second day of the celebration, October 24, various competitions will be held, where students will showcase their talents in multiple disciplines. The valedictory function of the Maharishi National Cultural Celebration will take place at 2:30 pm on October 25. During this ceremony, Brahmachari Girish Ji and the chief guest, MP Alok Sharma from Bhopal, will announce the results, followed by a prize distribution.
