In his message, Brahmachari Girish Ji highlighted Vijayadashami as the "great festival of victory" which symbolizes the timeless triumph of universal virtues.
“We extend our heartfelt wishes for the great festival of victory, Vijayadashami, to all countrymen,” the message read. He further elaborated on the core themes of the festival, stating it is a celebration of the victory of Truth over Falsehood, the supremacy of Dharma over Adharma (righteousness over unrighteousness), and the triumph of Light over Darkness.
The greetings are shared in the spirit of carrying forward the vision of Param Pujya Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji for global peace and the establishment of an ideal society—often referred to as 'Ram Rajya'—a theme central to the Maharishi World movement.
The Vijayadashami festival, celebrated on the tenth day of the Hindu month of Ashvin, commemorates Lord Rama’s victory over the demon king Ravana, marking the restoration of justice and righteousness.
