Brahmachari Girish Ji Honors Achievers at MNCC 2025 Conclusion
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Maharishi National Cultural Celebration (MNCC) 2025 wrapped up on Thursday at the Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence (MCEE) in Bhopal. The event was filled with excitement and devotion on its final day, which included honoring outstanding students and teachers.
The Valedictory Program began with the arrival of the Honorable Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Group, Ved Vidya Martand Brahmachari Girish Ji, and Chief Guest Shri Vishwas Sarang Ji, the Honorable Minister for Sports, Youth Welfare, and Cooperation in Madhya Pradesh. After welcoming the guests, Shri V.R. Khare Ji, Director of CPR, shared a report on MNCC 2025, noting the achievements and the vibrant spirit of the event.
In his address, Brahmachari Girish Ji thanked Chief Guest Shri Vishwas Sarang for being part of the celebration. He shared that children from 52 schools in 14 states participated. Over the previous two days, these students took part in various activities, including cultural performances, meditation, yoga, and debates. He emphasized that all kids present were winners by qualifying through regional competitions and were now excited for the awards.
Brahmachari Girish Ji explained the Maharishi Institute's focus on consciousness-based education. Students practice Transcendental Meditation twice a day, study Vedic Science, and learn Sanskrit as a required subject. He mentioned that this educational approach is used in about 78 countries and aims to involve parents and the larger community. He compared the Maharishi community to a Cultural Kumbh, a large gathering of different cultures.
Girish Ji also mentioned a future program that will offer Global Leadership training for students after 12th grade. This program requires an eight-year commitment and aims to develop students into leaders who promote world peace.
Chief Guest Shri Vishwas Sarang delivered an inspiring speech, praising Brahmachari Girish Ji and the institute for promoting Indian values and culture through meditation. He noted, "He has a very pleasant personality. Just looking at him, it feels like people like you can give the right direction to society and bring about change in the world."
The Minister also honored the late Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and highlighted his contributions to making Transcendental Meditation accessible for liberation. He stated, "If we want India to be great and to solve the world's problems, we must focus on our culture and values."
He concluded his speech by telling the students they were "very fortunate" to study in a Maharishi School.
The celebration ended with a Grand Prize Distribution Ceremony where students received Cultural Event Awards, Merit Awards, the Best Principal Award, and the Overall Championship Trophy goes to the region MVM Guwahati and runner up award to MVM Hyderabad.
Dr. J.P. Sharma delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all guests, teachers, and participants for making the celebration a success.
The three-day festival at the Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence captured the spirit of spirituality, knowledge, and cultural unity, leaving behind an inspiring legacy.
