Sensex down over 300 points
MUMBAI [Maha Media]: The BSE Sensex on Friday slipped 393 pts at 76,649.80 in the opening session as selling was seen across the board.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 103 pts to 23,208.05. The Sensex registered intraday highs and lows at 77,069.19 and 76,511.81 points, respectively. The Nifty registered days high and low at 23,292.10 and 23,167.05 pts, respectively. The mid cap rose 0.01 pc while the small cap fell by 0.14 pc. In 30 scrips, 14 advanced while 16 declined. The losers were Infosys by 5.26 pc to Rs 1824.90, Axis Bank by 5.02 pc to Rs 988, TCS by 1.59 pc to Rs 4141.40, and ICICI Bank by 1.54 pc to Rs 1230.50.
The gainers were Reliance Industries by 2.33 pc to Rs 1298.30, Zomato by 1.51 pc to Rs 245.65, Sun Pharma by 1.36 pc to Rs 1787.40, and Powergrid by 1.28 pc to Rs 301.45.
