Counting for Madhya Pradesh by-polls tomorrow

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The ruling BJP and Opposition Congress in Madhya Pradesh are eagerly waiting for the results of the by-elections to two assembly seats will be declared tomorrow.

The counting of votes for Vijaypur in Sheopur district and Budhni assembly constituency will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday. All arrangements for counting votes have been made in both assembly constituencies. The Collector and District Election Officer, Returning Officer, and Assistant Returning Officer have been instructed to strictly follow all the security parameters for counting votes.

The counting of votes of the Vijaypur Assembly will be held at Government Polytechnic College, Sheopur. 16 tables will be set up to count the votes cast by the voters in EVMs in 327 polling stations of this assembly constituency. The counting of votes will be done in 21 rounds. Counting of votes in the Budhni assembly constituency will be done in Government Women Polytechnic College, Sehore. 14-14 tables will be set up in 2 rooms to count the votes cast by voters in EVMs in 363 polling booths of this assembly constituency. The counting of votes will be done in 13 rounds.

A three-tier security system has been ensured at the counting place. Only authorized persons with an authorization letter will be able to enter, and no unauthorized person will be able to enter the counting center. There will be a three-tier randomization of counting personnel.
