MP: PM Modi to visit Anandpur Dham today

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Guruji Maharaj temple in Isagarh in MP's Ashoknagar district on Friday. It will be the PM's second visit to the state this year.

The PM will first visit his Lok Sabha constituency, Varanasi, on Friday morning where he is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for development projects amounting to over Rs 3,880 crore. He will also address a public meeting in Varanasi after which he will travel to Ashoknagar.

He is scheduled to reach Madhya Pradesh around 3:15 pm and offer puja at Guruji Maharaj temple in Isagarh (215km from Bhopal). An hour later, he will participate in a function at Anandpur Dham and address a public meeting.

The PM will also tour Anandpur Dham which houses modern cow shelters in its 315-hectare complex.

Looking forward to his visit, the PM posted on X on Thursday, "We are committed to preserving and promoting the cultural and spiritual heritage of our nation. In this spirit, tomorrow around 3:15pm, I will have the privilege of visiting and offering prayers at the Guruji Maharaj Temple in Isagarh, Madhya Pradesh. Following this, I will take part in a programme at Anandpur Dham."

On Feb 23 this year, PM Modi visited Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur district and addressed the inaugural session of Madhya Pradesh Global Investors' Summit in Bhopal the next day.

Chief minister Mohan Yadav said it is a matter of great fortune for the state to receive the Prime Minister once again in just two months. "The state govt and people of Madhya Pradesh are eagerly waiting to welcome Prime Minister Modi," the CM said.

Yadav said that PM Modi's visit will undoubtedly infuse new energy into the collective efforts to preserve and promote the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the state. A govt release said: "On behalf of all citizens, the chief minister extends a warm welcome to the Prime Minister, acknowledging his unwavering support and blessings and continued development and progress of Madhya Pradesh."

A PIB release on Thursday added, "Anandpur Dham has been established for spiritual and philanthropic purposes. Spanning 315 hectares, it houses modern goshalas with over 500 cows and runs agricultural activities under Shri Anandpur Trust campus. The trust has been operating a charitable hospital in Sukhpur village, schools in Sukhpur and Anandpur and various Satsang centres across the country."
