All-party team arrives in Singapore

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: After successful deliberations with Japan and the Republic of South Korea leaders and think-tanks, India's all-party outreach mission arrived in Singapore on Tuesday to convey New Delhi's resolute stand of zero tolerance against all forms of terrorism and appeals to global leaders that the time has come to combat terror outfits.

"The delegation arrives in Singapore as part of India’s diplomatic outreach," one of the delegates said after reaching here from Seoul in South Korea.

The all-party Parliamentary delegation, including TMC general secretary Abhishekh Banerjee, called on Ambassador Shilpak Ambule, the High Commissioner of India to Singapore, prior to important meetings with Singaporean government officials and prominent think tanks.

" The delegation will engage with Singaporean ministers, parliamentarians, think-tanks, academia, business leaders, media, and the Indian diaspora to convey India’s national consensus and firm commitment to countering terrorism in all its forms," said Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha member Abhishekh Banerjee.

The delegation in a meeting with a senior Singaporean minister already conveyed New Delhi's resolute stance in post-Pahalgam massacre, in which 25 innocent tourists were gunned down after determining their faiths on April 22 and subsequently India's Operation Sindoor against terror dens after two weeks.

The delegation is headed by JD(U) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha.
