
CM Yadav transfers funds to over 89K students
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred Rs 224 crore for laptops to the accounts of more than 89k meritorious students of the state during an event in Bhopal on Friday.
The laptops were given to students securing 75% in class 12 MB Board exams in the year 2023-24.
Ministers Vishwas Sarang, Krishna Gaur were also present on the occasion.
Sharing pictures from the event on X, he wrote, "Madhya Pradesh government is committed to make the path to future easier for the students. Today, by organising a laptop fund distribution program at R.C.V.P. Naronha Administration Academy, Bhopal, I transferred an amount of Rs 224 crore for laptops to the accounts of more than 89 thousand talented students of the state and wished all the promising students a bright future. All these talented children are the foundation stone of 'Developed India—Developed Madhya Pradesh.'. The laptops will help you in achieving higher education, giving access to a wide variety of global online courses and study material. Study and achieve, Madhya Pradesh govt supports you."
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also attended an organic farming workshop in Bhopal on Friday. He emphasised the promotion of organic products in Madhya Pradesh and said that the Organic Product Fair will be organised in lines with Van Mela, Kartik Mela, and Vyapar Mela here.
He advised farmers to desist from using any type of chemicals during organic and natural farming to ensure quality and authenticity.
He added that the use of chemicals in farming is damaging the agricultural system, lands, and crops. Efforts will be made to make these organic products available for all within the state.
Currently, organic farming is being done on one lakh hectares of land in the state. There is a target to expand the area up to 5 lakh hectares. He asserted that every year, organic farming area shall be increased in the state. The Chief Minister announced that agriculture shall be developed like an industry in the state, reassuring farmers of a raise in income.
He further informed the farmers that there is a plan to implement the Nagpur model in agriculture to give a boost to organic and natural farming, while Madhya Pradesh is also mulling to develop an agri model based on the resources here.
