Kavitha hits out at BRS leaders

HYDERABAD [Maha Media]: BRS MLC K. Kavitha launched a scathing attack on her own party leaders while reiterating her unwavering loyalty to BRS chief and father, K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Thursday, Kavitha voiced her anguish over the treatment she has received within the party, questioning the silence and inaction of senior leaders while defending herself against internal criticism.

“What’s wrong if I write a letter to my father? Why does it bother you?” she asked pointedly, expressing dismay over the moral policing by BRS leaders. She slammed those “working in the shadow of KCR” for their arrogance and alleged betrayal.

Kavitha revealed that her internal feedback to the party was deliberately leaked and that she was being maligned on social media by "paid artists." "Is it polite to talk about the daughter of the house like this?" she demanded, warning leaders not to test her patience.

Taking aim at working president K T Rama Rao (KTR), she questioned the party’s silence in the face of notices served to KCR by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. “What is tweeting without action?” she asked, challenging BRS to confront the Congress and BJP rather than targeting her.

In a dramatic claim, Kavitha hinted at a conspiracy to merge BRS with BJP, saying she had advised KCR from jail not to rush such decisions. “Should we now assume there are BJP covert agents within BRS?” she asked.

She also condemned false reports about her political ambitions and accused certain MLAs from her own party of engineering her defeat in Nizamabad. “Even then, KCR didn’t want me to resign,” she recalled, asserting that she would only step down if instructed by KCR.
