MP Natural Resources bags coal mine in Madhya Pradesh
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: MP Natural Resources Pvt Ltd bagged a coal mine in Madhya Pradesh on the fourth day of commercial coal mines auction on Thursday.
Two coal mines were put up for e-auction. The auction of the other mine in Madhya Pradesh was underway.
In a statement, the coal ministry said both the mines are fully explored and have total geological reserves of 779 million tonnes.
The cumulative peak rated capacity of these coal mines is 5.48 million tonnes per annum. These coal mines upon operationalisation will generate annual revenue of Rs. 620 crore, attract capital investment of Rs. 822 crore and will provide employment to 7,409 people, it added.
The ministry had launched the auctions of coal mines for commercial mining under sixth round and second attempt of fifth round in November last year.
