Cabinet meeting to approve several proposals today

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will lead an important cabinet meeting today, Tuesday, in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The meeting will start at 1 PM in the Ministry. Key proposals will be discussed and could be approved, including a new transfer policy that may allow transfers to happen for one month.

In the last cabinet meeting, it was decided that transfers in the state would occur from May 1 to May 30. The Chief Minister instructed the preparation of this policy and said that the transfer policy for 2025 would be presented in the next meeting. The cabinet may also make decisions about promotions for government employees.

Key Proposals Likely to be Approved:

1. New Transfer Policy 2025: The transfer ban may end on May 1. The in-charge minister for each district will have the power to approve transfers. Spouses can work at the same location. Transfers will be prioritized for serious illnesses. Employees facing corruption or misconduct charges will also have priority for transfers. Officials or employees who have been in one position for three years will be moved.

2. Solar Power Plants: The Renewable Energy Department plans to set up solar power plants for Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. These plants will be in Madhya Pradesh and will supply electricity to Uttar Pradesh.

3. Funding for Procurement: A proposal regarding the arrangement of funds for procurement by the Food and Civil Supplies Department.

4. Disciplinary Actions: Decisions will be made on some cases involving disciplinary actions against employees.

5. Employee Promotions: The Chief Minister has said that employee promotions will happen soon, and this will be discussed in the cabinet meeting.
