
MP: Temperature changes as rain hits parts of state
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: A cyclone is currently affecting the weather in the state, along with a trough and a western disturbance, leading to cloudy and rainy conditions that will last until April 4. Rain is expected in some districts of Narmadapuram, Indore, Jabalpur, and Bhopal on Wednesday and Thursday. Hail and thunderstorms could also occur. A new western disturbance will activate on Thursday, which may bring rain to some areas in Gwalior and Chambal.
On Tuesday, Sidhi recorded a temperature of 12.6 degrees Celsius. The night temperature in the hill station Pachmarhi was 20.6 degrees Celsius, and Dhar reached a high of 39.8 degrees Celsius. In the last 24 hours, Bhainsdehi in Betul had 0.2 mm of rain, Rahatgaon in Harda had 0.1 mm, and Ashta in Sehore also had 0.1 mm. Drizzle was reported in many cities in southern Madhya Pradesh.
Currently, a cyclone is located in central Maharashtra, along with a trough spanning from southern Chhattisgarh to central Maharashtra. Another trough extends from the cyclone over central Maharashtra to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Due to these weather systems, moisture in the winds may cause rain in some areas of Narmadapuram, Indore, Jabalpur, and Bhopal on Wednesday and Thursday. Rain may also occur in parts of Gwalior and Chambal on Thursday.
