Tri-Series: Rodrigues powers India to 337
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: South Africa A solid batting effort from the India Women helps them post a substantial score of 337/9 from their 50 overs. Having been sent into bat first, India Women lost three wickets inside the first seven overs, but Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues added an 88-run stand to steady the ship and set a strong base.
Mandhana was dismissed after getting her fifty, but Rodrigues carried on and smashed an outstanding hundred for her side. Deepti Sharma provided good support to Jemimah Rodrigues initially and took on the bowlers post her dismissal. Deepti Sharma ended with 93 off 84 balls, and cameos from Richa Ghosh and Shree Charani took the score past the 330-run mark.
India have won two games and lost one, while South Africa have lost both their matches so far.
