MP: Bhopal Mayor to attend Victory Day celebrations in Russia
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai will participate as a state guest in the Victory Day celebrations in Smolensk, Russia, on May 9. The event is held annually to commemorate the Soviet Union’s victory in World War II.
The Mayor of Smolensk has officially invited Malti Rai to attend the grand celebration. During this historic visit, a Sister City Agreement (MoU) will also be signed between Bhopal and Smolensk, opening up new avenues of collaboration in education, culture, tourism, handicrafts, small industries, and technical cooperation.
