
MP: Special Trains launched from Rani Kamlapati Station to ease summer rush
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: With train waiting lists growing longer this summer, the West Central Railway’s Bhopal Division has launched a series of weekly and bi-weekly summer special trains to various destinations. These trains, running on special fare, aim to ease passenger traffic and will pass through key stations such as Rani Kamlapati, Itarsi, Narmadapuram, Harda, Bina, Ruthiyai, and Guna.
Four major summer special trains are being operated from Rani Kamlapati Station, offering relief to travelers heading in high-demand directions.
Train No. 02187 will depart Rewa every Thursday at 3:50 PM, reaching Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai, the next day at 12:20 PM.
Train No. 02188 will depart CSMT every Friday at 1:30 PM, arriving in Rewa the next day at 9:45 AM.
Rewa–Secunderabad Bi-Weekly Special also announced
To further accommodate passengers:
Train No. 01704 will run from Rewa every Thursday and Sunday at 1:00 PM, reaching Charlapalli the next day at 2:45 PM.
Train No. 01703 will leave Charlapalli every Friday and Monday at 4:55 PM, arriving in Rewa on the third day at 3:30 AM.
This train will pass through Bina, Rani Kamlapati, and Itarsi stations.
Additionally,
Train No. 01663 will depart Rani Kamlapati every Monday at 4:30 PM, reaching Saharsa the next day at 3:15 PM.
These special trains are designed to reduce congestion and improve travel options for passengers during the busy summer travel season.
