
MP: Rain, storm to continue till June 7
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Madhya Pradesh is experiencing continued storms and rain. On Tuesday, strong winds and rain hit over 15 districts including Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain.
The same weather is expected on Wednesday as well. A warning has been issued for 17 districts, including Gwalior and Narmadapuram, where wind speeds may reach 60 kmph or more.
Monsoon is expected to enter Madhya Pradesh between June 7 and 10. Based on the past 10 years, the state usually faces high heat before the monsoon.
The Gwalior-Chambal region becomes the hottest, while Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain also see intense heat. Some relief usually comes in the last week of June. Night temperatures in June can drop by 8–10°C.

Rain is expected in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, Panna, Damoh, Mandla, Balaghat, Seoni, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Dewas, Dhar, Jhabua, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Guna, Rajgarh, Satna, Maihar, Mauganj, Katni, Jabalpur, Umaria, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dindori, and Neemuch.
June 5: Alert for storms and rain in 33 districts including Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, and others.
June 6: Storms and rain likely in 14 districts such as Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Indore, Barwani, and Khandwa.
June 7: Rain expected in over 40 districts, including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Sagar, Jabalpur, and more. Winds may blow at 40-50 kmph.
