Dharmasthala case: SIT arrests anonymous complainant
BELTHANGADY [Maha Media]: In connection with the Dharmasthala case involving allegations of multiple bodies being buried, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has arrested the anonymous complainant.
According to SIT sources, the protection granted to the complainant by the Mangaluru competent authority was withdrawn on August 22. Following this, the complainant was taken to the SIT office on Friday morning for intense questioning and was subsequently arrested on Saturday morning.
He is expected to be produced before the Belthangady court at 11 a.m. today, where he will be remanded to judicial custody.
