VP to inaugurate Krishi Udyog Samagam 2025 in Narsinghpur
NARSINGPUR [Maha Media]: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is arriving in Madhya Pradesh on a one-day visit today. Mr. Dhankhar will inaugurate the three-day Krishi Udyog Samagam 2025 in Narsinghpur.
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will also grace the occasion, alongside Agriculture Minister Shri Edal Singh Kanshana, Rural Development and Labour Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, Social Justice and Horticulture Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput, School Education and Transport Minister Shri Rao Uday Pratap Singh, MSME Minister Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, as well as local MPs, MLAs, public representatives, Agri-Entrepreneurs, Exporters, Agri-innovation companies, FPOs, Farmer organizations, and a large number of farmers. The samagam will continue until May 28.
The aim of Krishi Udyog Samagam 2025 is to link Madhya Pradesh’s agriculture-based economy with processing and value addition, thereby opening new avenues for investment, innovation, and job creation. Madhya Pradesh is increasingly becoming a national hub for agriculture—from wheat, pulses, and oilseeds to dairy and agri-tech. Narsinghpur’s Tur (Pigeon Pea) Dal has been recognized as the state’s identity under the ‘One District, One Product’ scheme, marking a strong step toward linking local products with global markets. The event will serve as a powerful example of transforming policy announcements into grassroots implementation and socio-economic change.
