Maharishi Institute celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami with great pomp
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp across the country on Thursday. People celebrated this festival by fasting, breaking dahi-handi, singing hymns, visiting temples, and praying together.
Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav was also celebrated with full rituals and gaiety at Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram, Bhojpur Mandir Marg, Chann in Bhopal. Under the divine guidance of Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon’ble Chairman Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, 121 Vedic pundits performed the Puja rituals of Shri Krishna Janmashtami with Vedic tradition and chanting of Vedic Mantras.
As per the tradition of the Maharishi Organisation, the celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Sri Hari Vishnu, began with Guru Puja. The entire celebration was telecast live on Ramraj TV's website, Facebook, and YouTube channels. Many devotees joined online and enjoyed the divine celebration of Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav.
Directors, officers, employees, and a large number of local devotees were also present on the occasion. After the puja rituals, prasad was distributed to all present.
