Chaitra Navratri Day 7 : Worshipping Goddess Kalaratri
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Goddess Kaalratri is prayed to on the seventh day of Navratri, which is April 4, 2025, during Chaitra Navratri. She is said to represent the powers of darkness and time. With her dark skin and loose hair, she sits upon a black donkey, representing her as the destroyer of ignorance and remover of inauspiciousness. She holds a sword and a noose in her hand. Though she has a menacing look, she showers her believers with protection, strength, and wisdom.
Worshiping Maa Kaalratri on this day is believed to give the devotee strength, spiritual enlightenment, and freedom from problems. Her three eyes glow like lightning and are full of strong energy, and fire appears to gush out of her nostrils when she exhales.
The planet Saturn is supposed to be under the control of Goddess Kaalratri. She is referred to as Goddess Mahayogishwari and Goddess Mahayogini.
