Malaysia masters: Srikanth to face France’s Popov in QF
NEW DELHI (Maha Media): In Badminton, ace Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth will take on Toma Junior Popov of France in the Men’s singles quarterfinal this afternoon.
Srikanth advanced to the final eight by defeating Nhat Nguyen of Ireland, 23-21, 21-17, in the pre-quarterfinal yesterday. Meanwhile, India’s Mixed Doubles pair of Tanisha Crasto and Dhruv Kapila has bowed out of the Malaysia Masters Tournament. Tanisha and Dhruv faced a defeat against the top-seeded Chinese pair of Wei Yaxin and Jiang Zhenbang, 24-22, 21-13, in the quarterfinals today.
