Sensex closed 410 points higher
MUMBAI [Maha Media]: On the third trading day of the week, i.e. Wednesday, September 3, the Sensex closed 410 higher at above 80,567. Nifty gained 136 points to settle at the level of 24,716.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 22 stocks were up and 8 went down. Shares Tata Steel closed 5.87% higher. Titan, Zomato, and Mahindra shares were up more than 1%.
Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 26 were up. NSE's, metal gained 3.11%; while, banking, pharma and healthcare indices were up.
